You're not the only one who's confused dear.People who have been consistently watching Sony shows have always failed to gauge the reason for low TRP's despite the channel coming up with good content.
Amongst the current crop of shows, Haasil and Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai are good shows but haven't got the TRP's they deserve. This has been the case for quite some time now.Beyhadh and KRPKAB were excellent shows.Beyhadh got ruined after its first 120-125 episodes but even then it was better than most of the stuff on TV.It was such a unique concept and was a terrific watch during the first 120 odd episodes and yet its TRP's always hovered in the range of 0.5-0.6Same was the case with KRPKAB.It was argubly the finest show on TV during the course of its first 160 episodes (its quality declined later to some extent). The show was subtle, layered and beautifully real during those 160 episodes and yet, quite astonishingly, it had a TRP of 0.4.Now its happening with Haasil. The worst part of this scenario is that it curbs the creativity of the writers.Low TRP's mean that makers are constantly living under the threat that the show might get axed and that is when the creativity of the writers goes for a toss and they start dishing out typical TV stuff in order to boost the TRP's, which ultimately ruins a good show.I dearly hope that this dosen't happen with Haasil coz its a good show.-Jennifer

@gt2918-Good that you mentioned EDKV.Since the TM had mentioned Beyhadh and KRPKAB hence I only wrote about them.KRPKAB and EDKV were launched at the same time and both were outstanding shows but unfortunately edkv ended prematurely due to poor management by the channel.
