Why does Sarika balantly prefer Ranveer? If it's an act, then to what purpose? She doesn't even think about Kabir. It's all Ranveer for her.
I think there's more to Aachal than just the Meenu case. If she's playing this dangerous game just for that case, then it'd be like beating a dead horse. If Meenu had been someone close to her like a sister or a very close friend, it'd be understandable. I think Aachal's real motives are still hidden. As for Ranveer, the character is definitely the most interesting. (Though I wish it had been played by a better actor, no offense). I hope there's more to this story than just a clich love triangle.

@anshvi a good guess, to understand Ranvir, understand his paintings because art does reflect our subconscious thoughts. Also another of your guess did Aanchal want to correct it or she wanted to spill colors. Or rather she recognized Ranvir is coming to the room. Both possible as Aanchal has come with a clear motive

@poppins dear happy to see you hear. Ranvir is an enigma and I also feel game is between Ranvir and Anchal and Kabir decides who wins. I was telling in another post the fidget spinner. Kabir uses fidget spinner something that rotates about a point. Same way Kabir too rotates about his bade, or his elder brother. Will that rotation stop. Beyhadh used Maya or illusion as their concept and with all their bloopers they stuck to that concept. Hassil is using power as the concept and Ranvir represents power both as a person and as a metaphor.
Coming to RKC till this point it is a very good show. It is scripted quite well and worth a watch.

@Shruthi... good to see you too. I lost interest in Beyhadh and I did stalk the RKC forum and did read some of your posts there but yet to watch the show. Given that this one is in SP and is now in prime time, will give it some more time before I start catching up. Right now I am hooked to YUDKBH and Haasil ofcourse.

I kind of feel that given the popularity of Maya they will kind of tailor Ranvir similar to her around the power concept. But Aanchal is out to attack the foundation of that power viz Kabir. At some level Kabir seems to be Ranveer's strength!! In your symbolism parlance I would say Ram Lakshman 😉 but with the grey shades, quirks and mysteries added and many positives removed.

She has already started it yesterday by revealing her trip to Kabir. Now if Ranveer is out to do something bad to her Kabir will know and vice versa. Ranveer cant be bad infront of Kabir and he cant let Kabir be bad either. Think she is already playing the brothers

@Shreya I would have left the brush scene as romantic alone, if it was not followed by that coffee mug scene. That scene made me add up to the previous scene. Coming to Beyhadh what went wrong was they paid more attention to Maya the metaphor than Maya the character. That's why it became so complex. They tried to express the metaphor through the character. It's a fact Maya the metaphor can do anything, but to show the girl doing anything and everything was where the problem happened😆😆
@poppins what is YUDKBH . I stuck to beyhadh because of the concept. I will stick to hassil till I feel they are not tampering with the concept of power.

@ poppins: I only watched the first few weeks of Beyadh before it started going downhill and I left it, but what I feel the CVs did wrong there was try to change Maya's character in the middle. She was supposed to be this grey-shaded character with a possessive flair, but they made her obsessive and psychotic and then gave her a sob story that made everything okay. With Ranvir so far it seems that he is for sure more negative than positive, but somewhere his nature is to weigh everything in terms of pros and cons, profit and loss. They may be able to give him a story of being rejected by Sarika or being used by family, but they cannot make it a sob story that people are supposed to accept and feel for him. That would be the wrong way to go. RKC is a great show! You do need to watch it, but try watching from the beginning if you can. The nuances can only be understood that way.

True that... they didn't have the guts to make Beyhadh fully tow the GG line. Wish they had done ti. That was one amazing story and I rooted for Amy 😉

Ranveer's negativity is inversely proportional to AnVeer's shipping by the fans and AnVeer's TRP 😉

I am sure it will all be about redeemable negativity; do not think they would go to the extent they went with Maya... definitely do not want that.

But the way the ship is sailing, I would say they are going to keep the suspense intact and get Aanchal to romance both Kabir and Ranveer... I wont complain at all 😆😆.

RKC is on my list, did watch the first epi... do not want to pile up too many shows... but I guess will watch it eventually.

Note: Just happened to watch the episode again and the painting scene in particular. There are a lot of paintings and all show a poor possibly orphaned boy all alone on the streets. So the Raichands rescued him and he is being the good boy with him and his real nature is hidden from them.

@ SweetRogue: I feel Sarika supports Ranvir more because he is better at business and is more likely to control the business in the future, while Kabir is happy just enjoying and taking care of Ranvir (in his words). Until she can, she'll use Ranvir to keep everything in order, but when the time comes she could easily evict Ranvir and place Kabir in his place.

@ Shruthi: Romance or symbolism...hmm let's leave that to the CVs. I have a strong feeling that this show will go down the cliched path of love triangle and the "haasil" will be to get the lover. So Kabir will go out of his way to get Aanchal and she'll go after Ranvir and Ranvir will go after money. 😆 I'll be watching until they go that cliched path. I refuse to watch after that. 😆

@ poppinss: I don't know the full details with what they did with Maya, but I know that they went crazy trying to prove her to be right and loyal and good. I hope they don't do that with Ranvir. Make him negative and then suddenly go all positive. Incidentally the one role that I loved Zayed in was in Vaada where he played the obsessed lover. Back on the show I do feel that the CVs will work with the suspense until they feel that it's not getting the TRPs and then switch tracks.

No offense to anyone but I really find Anchal rather dumb. Or else her character is being portrayed as dumb for the time being. A lot of people have already said how she could have handled the case better. In my opinion she behaved like a normal person who is asked to present a case rather than a lawyer who knows her stuff. She went with the facts that were planted in her way rather than dig deep. She barely scratched the surface of this case. There could be a couple of reasons for this:
1) She is just dumb. A stupid girl who bit off more than she could chew.
2) She has some ulterior motive to appear dumb in front of the Raichands. But that doesn't make sense as no one will notice a dumb bimbo.
3) She wanted the Raichands to notice her but wanted them to think of her as a harmless activist. A all bark no bite kind of a girl.
4) She has some personal vendetta against the Raichands. The Meenu Mudgal case was just her way to get noticed. She actually used this case to come on the Raichand's radar. But she purposely threw away the case in their favour.
5) This is too far fetched. But... She is the master mind who is playing this game of intrigue. Meenu Mudgal was a pawn. A pawn who was sacrificed. So was her so called boyfriend. They were pawns in the bigger game that is being played. Someone mentioned that maybe Ranvir is playing this game. But according to this theory, Anchal is the one playing this game. Anchal is the king here. Queen on her side is not yet revealed. We don't know who is protecting her. Ranvir is the rival king. Kabir is the queen. Someone who is constantly trying to protect the king. And the bigger game is some sort of revenge that she wants to extract. I remember someone mentioning that they did not show her father's photo. Maybe the Raichands were in some way responsible for his death. She could be avenging that.

IMO, at this point in time, everyone seems to be acting stupid.
Anchal as you rightly pointed out.
Ranvir - his dreamy looks when he thinks of Anchal. How's it even possible to fall for someone so quickly?
Kabir - with his childish antics.
We could only know for sure who's stupid and who's acting after a few more episodes.

@Shruthi Its Yeh Un Dino Ke Baath Hai The 10 30 Sony show set in the 90s. A feel good show with quirky, relate-able and like-able characters.
Watch it if you have time... you will like it.

Just watched todays episode. The precap to me looks like a dream... what say?

The Raichand's sure are a mad family. Sons and Mom. Looks like the Dad is sane... but you never know 😊 What was that stare that Aanchal gives when Ranveer eats that chilly?! Looked like she had a clue there... but I am clueless. Possibly overthinking hehe.
