and this is the only thing i m objecting dear ..i don't hare her ..rather i love her the most ..i m here since very start and watching it .. but i just can't approve girls being such weak ..see this is their weakness .. they r very easily swept away by emotions .. i have always supported Laajo and Nikhil both .. but this dying thing is way too unacceptable for me ..she still has her parents who r craving for their daughter and she is only thinking about Nikhil and her sasural's misbehavior which is way too selfish for me .. that's it! if she was tortured by her family, then i wld even tried to sympathize but here it is just not acceptable .. and i also agree she wil wake up and get stronger .. i m aginst this weakness of girls .. not only Laajo, they need to stand up and be there for themselves and the biggest thing they need to adapt the art of surviving .. they lack it big time, girl from any society or class lacks this!

And,still u need to observe very deeply, all she is doing just bcoz of Nikhil and her sasural's bad behavior ..and she got the disease willingly .. she knew everything and still continued working there day and night..now isn't it willingly falling ill???and her mother stopped her time to time ..she just wanted to fall sick and die .. u can't ignore this fact!

Yes Lajjo was wrong and she should have been stronger but as I keep on saying you need to look at the whole picture. She is a human with emotions. Everyone reacts differently. The last six months have changed her life beyond recognition. The only way is up as they say. To some people others reputation is more important than their own self respect. So if she dies her parents would be relieved of the shame of announcing their daughter is seperated/divorced. Of course the parents would be shattered by her death but in indian mentality their izzat would be preserved. If It was revealed Lajjo is divorced who would marry her sisters? Their lives would be ruined too. This is the sad fact of most of indian society. The actions of a daughter reflect on the whole family and affect them for the rest of their lives.

i so agree with u yaar on this.I feel it is unfortunate part of indian mentality and it sin our dna unfortunately.I still feel she is also doing this for sake of her parents too,
And am speaking from real life experiences once u r married na ur whole prospective on life changes..as they show laajo said, she did not knwo all that was written in those novels, now after marrige she understood, loads of things one understands after marrige and so many other people's lives are also involved,so loads of things take back seat. What they show here is i agree wrong, women should be strong but it is reality of our society😭

I agree with all your posts Ninag.

We all know that Lajjo is a positive person, but sometime circumstances changes you to think differently, she tried very hard to stay in that house without Nikhil's love, she went through all emotional tortures, but finally when Ishana and others plotted against her and due to that Nikhil started hating her, she gave up.

City people will not understand but it is hard for a village girl to come back and live normally in the village like nothing happened.

Lajjo tried to be brave and was trying to remain busy doing the work she liked the most, and when she got that disease, she became physically weak, which affected her emotions too, she is weak now as she is lost but soon she will come out of it.

Thank you Paljay. Lajjos story isn't as straightforward as it appears there are so many layers to it. It can be hard to understand what is going on in her mind! In a way her mindset is just as complicated as Nikhils now!

yes guys..i understood that u all feel for her and i too :) i m always with her .. but i m saying all this coz i want girls to become stronger and they need to believe dying is not the solution and can't never be.. and i m talking against Indina or any society mentality ..u all think only in India such things happen? in abroad too things happen .there also girls get raped and they get their lives destroyed, they get bullied ..it is not only about India .. everywhere in the world women folk is faced with discrimination and suffer alot! that's why i think their outside view should be changed.

But,for me my parents are ultimate thing..i just can't waste my life over some useless and worthless so called lover or husband .. and i can't force anyone to believe it ..fair enough! :)

And,thank you for bearing me till now! 😳 and don't take me wrong guys ..i love Laajo and GD most and will always do so .. :D take care all :)

After reading all the posts I think everyone is right in their own way. But Look at things from Laajo's perspective. What is her state now? She is just 19 , she has gone through a troubled marriage, she wanted to forget and move on, but she caught this disease. Her self respect is hurt, she feels guilty of giving pain to her family, she loves her husband but cannot disclose it to him. I think this is too much for her young age. 😭 .Maybe anyone in her place however enduring she may be at one point of time may feel worthless and take life to be baseless. This happens when a person doesn't know what future has in store for her/him. So we cant blame Laajo for this, instead with love , support and guidance from her family and well wishers she will surely be able to pull through.
Even if you are an ultra feminist you all will agree to the fact that Laajo has infact faced the challenges bravely , but there are emotional issues here .So I think people who advocate that girls should be strong and face everything at the face of it by making your self heard is bit too much.
Strength does not mean screaming someone down, caring a damn for relationships or even asserting yourself at the cost of others. But it means doing the right thing at the right time.
Relationships are nurtured over a period of time with patience, so I guess Laajo was doing this when she was in Nikhil's house and her only strength being her Love for Nikhil and his care for her.
When Nikhil accused her for making his life miserable , she felt that thin thread of hope to which she was clinging had broken , she gave up.I think it was an intelligent thing to do.
Coming to the point that Laajo should not have returned to her parents place is really not a good preposition. I believe in the fact that a girl even after marriage very much belongs to her maika as she belongs to her sasural. How can one give up the warmth of parents love, the sweet memories of childhood and all those formative years of growing up just because we belong to some other family after marriage , this is ridiculous!!😲. Coming to Laajo, she had already committed a blunder by running away after her marriage broke due to dowry. Now if she would do the same blunder by not retuning to her family after leaving Nikhil, she would give more pain to her family.
I hope nobody is offended by my observation, if so I apologize in anticipation.

^^yes i agree to all ur points and they r really good actually :D

and i m always with Laajo and have been .. but this attempt to die,i can't support it,that's all .. and abt being strong it means u need to stand up for urself siding those motions which degrade ur self respect bcoz simply i won't compromise with my self respect at any point of my life,so this is my view ..and abt Laajo, yes she has suffered a lot and she deserves love in return.. i m loving the drama and everything :) ... waiting them to unite :')
