Ok... so it starts from the point where Nikhil offers to drop Ishana home and Ishana politely refuses saying he will late for the party. Nikhil insist saying half an hr delay won't harm... Kunal steps in saying it won't be any harm to you, but Ishana's mother will be very upset if she sees Ishana with you, moreover Nikhil should not worry as he will drop Ishana saying this Ishana and Kunal leave. Shreay and other girl from the gang also start to leave. Nikhil tries to stop Shreaya saying they have meet after a long time so why don't they all hangout for a while. Shreaya too leaves saying he will get late for the party.
At Nikhil's place Gunja helps Lajoo to get ready for the party and Lajoo is surprised and happy to see how beautiful she looks.
In the party at one end Idrajit and Ravi (Nikhil's mamu) are chitchatting and on the other end Barakha is mingling in her regular crowd chitchatting about fashion. Party's host Mrs. Gujaral enquires about Nikhil and his wife and is really excited to meet Lajoo. Barakha informs Nikhil and Lajo are on the way and should be there any moment.
Lajoo and Nikhil enters the party and Lajoo starts complementing about the decoration and stuff quite loudly she is managing to walk properly. Nikhil shusshhh Lajoo asking her to speak in a low voice as they are not in a village ka mela. He also pulls her clutch she is holding with her arm and tells her to hold it in her had telling her it's clutch and not a batuwa (handbag ). Mrs. Gujaral welcomes Nikhil and while she is talking to Nikhil Lajoo offers her hand for shake hand and Nikhil manages to salvage the situation. (Pr-recap scene). Lajoo sees DJ playing the music and questions Nikhil pointing out to music system. Nikhil scolds Lajoo asking her not to point a finger.
Barakhas brother corners her demanding to know what Lajoo is doing in the party and once again sings the old tune how he suffered 500 Cr. loss due to this stupid village girl. Barakha keeps mum, her brother annoyed question what more insults they have to bear because of this village girl.
Lajoo sees DJ playing the music and bobbing his head on the music and thinks he is having an fit / migraine attack. Nikhil pulls her aside saying control yourself Lajooo...
Kunal and Ishana are in the car... Ishana remembers how she offered her hand in friendship to Nikhil earlier. Kunal enquires if she is Ok and tries to have a small talk with Ishana asking her what's her plan for Diwali. Ishana replies saying... what is there to plan like every year she and Nikhil... realizing what she said Ishana stops and so is Kunals car due to some engine problems.
In the party Nikhil drags Lajoo while Lajoo sees people greeting each other hugging and kissing ... she is surprised and starts with her special comments how they say Jay Ram Jee ki at her village and if the person is elder they greet by touching their feet and taking the blessings. Nikhils once again explains this is not your village Mela and in cities ppl greet each other by kissing and hugging. Lajoo is stunned.
Two middle age ladies meet Nikhil and ask him to introduce them to Lajoo... One lady offers a hand shake and Lajoo dumping her clutch in Nikhil's hand hugs the lady and kisses her leaving behind her lipstick mark. The ladies offended with Lajoo leaves the place crying out. Nikhil scolds Lajoo what she is trying to do? Lajo confused tells him hug and greet as told by you. Nikhil frustrated tells her you don't actually kiss she just needs to kiss the air confusing Lajo some more.
One more girl greets Nikhil and looking at Lajo questions him if Lajoo is his wife. Nikhil stammers and confirms yes my wife Lajoo. Girl offers a shake hand saying Nice name Lajoo... I m Parvati... a bell jingles in Lajo's head remembering her cow Parbati and she happily keeps shaking Parvati's hand tells her cows name is also Parvati and she is very happy to meet her. Partavti is offended with Lajoo thinking Lajoo has called her COW and creates a scene demanding an apology. Nikhil try to make Parvati understand but then realised its useless and forces Lajo to apologies. Lajo first refuses but ends up saying sorry.
Nikhil takes Lajo aside and telling her not be there for few moments goes to attend a phone call. Waiter severing starters is passing by and Lajoo takes one and almost throw-up when she is told it is chicken. Nikhil comes and frustrated scolds her why can't she keep quite not even for few moment. Lajo angry tells him she have to go and wash her mouth as she ate non-veg and leave for the washroom. Nikhil mumbles God know what she will do in toilet now.
Kunal and Ishana are waiting for the mechanic. Ishana is in hurry to go home and insist she will take the cab. Kunal almost begs her to go with him to nearby golgappa stall till the mechanic comes.
In party Lajoo takes champagne glass thinking it's water and takes one sip when Nikhil comes in time and stops her. Mrs. Gujral announces that now newly married couple Nikhil and Lajwanti will take the dance floor for a romantic dance. Brakha smirks while Indrajit is worried. Nikhil and Lajo are shocked when they are pushed on the dance floor. Nikhil whispers and tells Lajo to copy what every her is doing for which Lajoo just manages to nod.
Nikhil tries to lead the dance but Lajoo is uncomfortable but they somehow manage to put few steps together. People are murmuring and are having fun seeing the attempted romantic dance number. Few gasps when Lajo's heels break during the dance and Barakha has her OMG moment.
Nikhil makes Lajo seat in the corner ordering her not to go anywhere till he comes back.
Kunal and Ishana enjoy goolgapps and Kunal is happy to see a smile on Ishana's face. Kunal once again try to start the car and miraculously it starts and as they start for Ishana's place. Kunal thanks god that Ishan didn't suspect his foul play and he get to spend time with her.
Lajoo once again ignoring Nikhils instruction is roaming around in the party when a drunk man offers her a drink and when she refused grabs her hand. Lajo furious empties the drink on her end while Nikhil, Barakha, Idar and Barkha's brother watch in horror.
