It was a 20 minute drive from home. Jagat was all tensed as he was once again late because of Arpi. He kept staring at her angrily whilst driving. Arpita was least bothered about it as it was not an unusual thing, she was busy fidgeting with her cell phone. On reaching college, Arpi waved Goodbye to Jagat and made her way towards the main gate. Meanwhile, Jagat heaves a sigh of relief as he can reach office now…

As Arpi proceeded towards the main gate, she felt someone's warm hands covering her eyes. Blinded for a second, she calmly said – "Manjari..." and gently removes her hands from her face..

Manjari- Tum har bar hume kaise pechaan leti ho??

Arpi- Aisa karne ki himmat sirf do logon mein hai... ek tum aur…

Manjari- Aur woh…

she said lazily.Before she could complete, Arpita continued..

. . . . Ab tak so raha hai. Subah se 10 times use call kiya. No response.. He didn't even reply to my messages… Let him come. Aaj nahi bachega!!!

… she said angrily.

Manjari- Achha theek hai.. uske saath jo karna hai karo. But first lets go to class.. Hurry up!!! We're already late..

Both of them rushed to their classroom and took their seats. Arpita whispers " Now lets have a good nap!! "

Manjari giggles…… Oh come on Arpi… He isn't that bad. Besides he's also cute.

Arpi- Okay okay... fine.

During class, everyone was distracted by a group of boys who were yelling and singing on top of their voices… thus disturbing all the other classes along the corridor… Arpita and Manjari were also irritated.

Manjari- Yeh RanVijay bhi na… jab dekho tab sabko pareshaan karte rehta hai…

Arpi- Aur nahi toh kya.. He bunks the lectures all day and then keeps pestering me for the notes..

Manjari- It's all your fault.. Y do you always lend him your notes ??

Manjari- Woh… Woh… He's my Friend na.. Bas isliye..

She says lowering her eyes.

Manjari- ONLY Friend ??? ( she smirked)

Arpi- Oh !!! Enough Manjari… Pay attention to what Sir's teaching..

The group of boys were none other than RanVijay and his Gang.. A nuisance for everyone.. Always creating trouble for all.. He had a soft corner for Arpita, infact he liked her very much.. Arpita who was unaware of his feelings, only considered him as her friend..
