Hey Ramona...superb update...feeling really bad for Arpi...poor thing had to go thru so much...finally Mr.Thakur has regained his senses...but he is way short tempered must say...precap is a lil scary...hope everythng goes well

Chapter 13
The Bullet Effect

None of them said a word. They just kept staring at each other... Finally, Avdhesh broke the deafening silence
"Arpita, I know I shouldnt have done all that.. I know you're mad at me.."

Arpita looks away. ...

"but I just couldnt control myself when I saw you with RV. I thought he'd take you away from me. I dnt want to lose you. You are mine.. (he held Arpita by her shoulders & shook her)... You're only mine.. you are.."
Arpita jerked his hands off-"Oh just shut up". She just turned to leave, but suddenly from somewhere a bullet escaped & pierced Arpita's arm.
"Aaahhh.." she yelped in pain..The pain was unbearable. She fell on the ground holding her arm.
Avi slid beside her, "Arpita.. Arpita wake up".

He looked around to see who shot his Arpita.
"Pappu.. that SOB. How did he reach here?"

He carried her in his arms & walked towards a cave. Avi carefully placed Arpi on the ground. Her arm was wounded. Blood oozed out. He couldnt bear to see her blood. His heart twisted in pain.
"Arpita open ur eyes. Look at me."

Arpita was unconscious. Suddenly realisation hit him that if the bullent wasnt removed, its poison would spread throughout her body. But before that he had to wake her up.
The cave had a small pond in the corner. He sprinkled a few drops on Arpita's face.
"Arpita.. open ur eyes. Look at Me." He held her close to his chest & whispered, "Pls dnt leave me. I wont be able to live without You."

After a while, Arpita regained consciousness. She punched him lightly to make him realise that he had hugged her tightly and that she was feeling suffocated.

Avi- "Arpita.. you're alright..Thank God. You know I was tensed. I just.."

Arpi cut him off- "Oh.. so Mr. Thakur was tensed..😆"

Avi- "I mean.. just a little.. 😡😳"

Arpi burst out laughing. He was overjoyed to see his Arpita back again. Suddenly He remembered about the bullet.

Avi- "Let me remove the bullet"

Arpi- "No No.. Nothing doing.. You are not touching my arm."

Avi- "Dont be silly, If I dont, then you'll bleed to death."

Arpi- "How interesting!! I didnt know that... Btw, in one way its good. Atleast, I'll escape from you."

Avi was furious- "This isn't the right time to talk about all this."

Arpi- "Why not? Its all because of you. You're responsible for.. Aahhh".

Avi- "You better let me do my work or else.."

Arpi-" Or Else What??"

Avi placed his hand on her mouth inorder to prevent her from yelling & pulled out the bullet. Arpi closed her eyes in pain & grasped Avi's shirt & unknowingly pulled him closer. He quickly covered her wound with his kerchief. Avi too put his arms around her waist. He admired her expressions. She looked very cute with her eyes shut tight. He smiled and placed a tender kiss on her lips.
