its a very well written piece indeed dreamy girl, and i must compliment u for that....Thanks.
however , much as it sounds plausible and the interpretation you put on the scene arrangement and the setting and the history of the present imbroglio, and much as it adds to the drama of the situation , however i do think a little differently about this.
it is true that avdhesh is pure, and sweet, ,and honourable and basically a decent man....and , something you probably forgot to write, a victim of his own circumstances hmm, true., ....he is indeed all those things and more ...eg he has always showed a strange respect for women in a scenario where women are little more than objects to be owned not surprising as he was partly bought up by a woman, who demanded respect.., he is also a family man , a son, a devar and a bhaiyyaji to all....quick to the rescue, quick to the support of others, quick to pledge and quick to plunge....he is all of these and more ...and that is why we collectively fell in love with him....
but i do not agree that it is these things which made him do what he did....in fact, it is not what he is that made him do this, it is what he is not...
what he is not is a man of common sense - I don't agree with this.π. he has courage, spirit, goodness, simplicity and kindness with a heart of gold, but he has not had the advantage of being brought up to learn to be a stable , mature , cool-headed person...Intereseting. Could you elaborate how you came to this conclusion as I saw nothing, that pointed out he is not stable or mature?..also in my opinion he has tremendous common sense...think back to the first episode, a woman + daughter came for help...he did his bit and he returned their gold, not accepting the payment. That is common sense, also maturity which told him it is all these poor people had...girl called him bhai and etc...
he has not had the benefit of the guidance of his parents, he has not learnt to think rationally, or even think at all, he doesnt do that...he just acts, reacts or plunges....he sees what is in front of him and nothing else....that is his unfortunate reality and so it is ours....You're partly right, he has been conditioned to behave ruthlessly in violent situtations or potential violent situations....that is the legacy of his trauma...it is a trigger on his temper as well...where someone he loves or cares for or those who are vulnerable, he reacts..almost intinctively and through conditioning...we don't know enough of his thinking to presume he see's only what's in front of him (therefore viewers can put their own individual interpretation on it) but I personally think he is more aware, his body language gives him away....take him with bhouji, he is always uncomfortable and very formal...He is more aware than able to verbalise..at the moment.
he is a goon after all, no matter how good...and the reason that is so, is beccause someone manipulated him and he didnt have the sense or the maturity or the stability to resist that -true but don't forget he was young, just suffered a tragedy so he would look and listen to his bhouji. he had nothing to teach him, neither parents, nor education , nor a sincere teacher nor a sincere elder to teach him these things....to teach him to think, to teach him to be human in many way s.Hmm, again it could be interpreted your way but I prefer to believe despite the lack of the above (another guess on our part) he turned out to be a decent human being especially as you said he is a goon...his intentions are good, but his thinking is either non-existent or that of a hot-headed teenager, where most probably his development stopped....Don't agree, can't make sweeping statement without proof and so far his thinking has been great and so is his development, only thing is he has no experience with the opposite sex which is odd, for a goon.ππ
he coveted and loved arpita, did everything he could to be true to her and win her hand, but when provoked didnt know how to handle it and forgot all about it.I presume you are talking about her wedding to pappua? I look at it as him being mature..he hardly knew her but felt something powerful for her, something that compelled him to come and stare at her house, arrange a scheme at the mandir and so on..so when he finds out at Moti mahel she is getting married he stepped back, this shows maturity and rational thinking, I mean for all he knew this has been a long standing arrangement..he wasn't going to go and spoil things - unless given a sign. His words to his gang, where he slaps sarvan for telling him where Arpita was (at the farmhouse) resonated powerfully with me...I could see his hurt and anguish clearly but his decency made him accept she was out of his reach hence his words to them 'no one is going to do anything..' what he left unsaid but to my ears was loud was unless she tells me or we know otherwise....at some level, perhaps subconsciously he did fall back on the age-old concept of his surroundings that of a wife being secondary to more important matters at hand. This is the friday's episode?..yes, him being the lord and master...but consider this. Their relationship, for all the love they have for each other, is very formal with 'Ji' and 'Aap'...this straightaway showed to me that they will have a relationship where his word will be the final and she will abide...in most matters but more importantly it has been forshadowed a week earlier when she promised to hold his important matters as her importance, follow him and etc...so to me when he stopped her and stalked off, it wasn't because she was secondary...in fact holding his hand, palm outside is an age old symbol of warding off someone - someone who could influence/change their mind...so Avi did that because of Arpita even touched him....all would be lost.
i think its a fallout of our darling hero being everything that a teenage girl would dream of , but yet to achieve the qualities that make a good , strong charactered human being with whom a woman can spend her life in married bliss if you mean he is flawed, then yes all human beings are..that is what makes a rounded person. unfortunately, the background from which avi hails have more men stuck in that stage of unstable immaturity than one would imagine, and most women have to spend their lives with such men, trying to balance out their instability and lack of any sense. His background of fighting and that mentality is not ideal, I agree, but this is a male centric serial with these settings because a story needs to be told that even within evil, goodness can exist. Arpita will have influence over Avi and there will be transformation though...
