You know this had more to do with revenge than with living together "happily ever after". For Charu, it was revenge for her friend's death. And for Sameer it was revenge for his friend's death. Both wanted to kill the people who killed their friends with no care for the outcomes. They may have named it a killing for the sake of love, but it was revenge, not love that provoked them to commit this crime.

No, it was not fair to kill the whole family, not even for their love. I missed the beginning of the episode, but as far as I understood, Tushar was the killer and people in family resented his action. Yeah, the family watched silently but that doesn't sign their death warrant. The couple should have filed a complaint against Tushar in police. Even if they had killed Tushar, they would have my sympathy as he was a threat to them. But the whole family? There was a small kid! Killing Tushar, I would have called self defense. But the whole family, that was just massacre. I don't care if you are in love or what, that wasn't justified.

The phrase 'everything is fair in love' really doesn't make sense and a lot of people use this phrase to justify their wrong actions taken based n or due to love.
A pure and selfless emotion such as love can never cause a person to harm any fellow human being and if it does, then it was never 'love'.
