Character of d week: GULAAL👏

Hello guys'.I am going to analyse Gulaal'.so d last week is where we saw many of emotions coming out of Gulaal..n she is actually acting as a woman..who is in love..after meeting kesu in temple..she came home..n just started thinking about him after her convo with rewa n can't stop herself from making a phone to kesu..but withdraws..but when kesu make a call'to her she was very happy'and' talks to kesu.( I'm sure ki she is expecting a missed u dialogue from kesu),and next day..she says..to Bandar that whatever may happen but kesu will do d thing..once he decided to do..n shows so much of faith on kesu'n goes into d lover mode'where she keeps on thinking d lines of kunal ki.."jahan ithna bharosa hothi hai..wahan pyaar tho jaroor hogi"..n she is hesitant to accept it..n then during kulli's phere'she realizes that d 4 vachans are always done by kesu.so she got a feeling that kesu actually acted as a husband'n true to his words'that was d moment of realization for her'n then after coming home..she keeps thinking about d vachans n she had FB of kesu bringing home d dailywages n d chulha scene'n then poonamba says ki..she can lead a normal life..n they all accepted kesu is no more part of her life'n then Gulaal..prays infront of God..this is significant..kyon ki..jab we don't have control over our emotions..then d best way is to pray to God..so..gulaal sits n prays'n then MB comes n asks gullu to come..but Gullu refuses saying..shayad yahin teek rahega..sab ke liye..but when in d morning she came to know about d situation in badi haveli'from talli..she goes back..to badi haveli'n completes her responsibility by convincing gigakaka..n Jk..n d whole family'n then sees kesar..n feels extremely happy..n when he says that he is on seventh heaven'u can actually see d pleasure on her face..but later bids adieu to everyone n leaves'.n when kesu comes to drop n offers her a toffee..she is happy beyond d belief..n went home..n have FB of kesu..n finally she had dream of kesu leaving her..yup its sixth sense..who tells us..that something with which we are attached is parting with us..n then knows about kesu leaving n shocked..n then she tries to avoid d meeting with kesuda..yani tab tak use realize hua ki'.woh actually pyaar karthi hai..kesu se..but had a feeling of guilt in her'n went to terrorist house..n then kesu comes at d same time..n gullu remembers everything..but when kesu comes she avoids n runs from there'n then next day..she lost in thoughts..n poonamba tells her ki..she actually..missing kesu..n she didn't know ki she has accepted kesu as her hubby'n woh uske mann mein baita hai'n then when kesu comes n says bye..she was not able to utter a word to him..n feels painful..when he surrenders his pipudi..n goes..n then running competition ki tarah bhaag ke..haveli aathi hai..when she came to know ki kesu met an accident..n prays to God n confesses ki she know..y this happened to kesu..n all'n then she wents to her room n have FB which starts with vassy but she ends up with kesu..because she has him in her mind all d time..kesu took over her..and at this realization she breaks down n MB comes n tells her that she has done nothing wrong by falling for kesu'n then gullu sees ghost in her dream..n vassy tells her..that y she is letting d thing go away from her..which is precious to him..n gives d certification to kesu as best life partner of Gulaal n chaukidar of her smile'n goes away..n then confession awww..I watched it like 20 times'she is ziddi'n don't let herself down before anyone..(who is attached to her😳)that's what make her to say d things..like'kehe tho aise raha hai..ki mujhse pooches hi sheher jane ka faisla liya tha'she wants..dat haq..on his life..( All d way she wants domination in his life..she claim ki kesu don't have any right over her..n same person wants d full right over his life)n after kesuda bhaav khavoing..(I loved this he just made her to confess..😆)she finally tells ki math jana..tere baghair jeena ki aadath nahin..n bursts into tears'.n this time she gives d full right over her saying that'he should not let her go'😳so 2 people'gave each other'right over other's life😳😳😳'just a promise between them😳😳'n they promised to not to leave one another entire life'n from their beautiful journey..of kes-gul begun😳😳😳'

Though d Gulaal's character is shown as strong headed girl'she was almost afraid to accept kesu as her life partner'its sentimental thinking..I think it is in our blood'😆.that only one man for a life😕'but there can be a beautiful beginning after every dark night😳'.so every widow can have a second life'I think this is what they want to show.😳😳.through d character of Gulaal..😳😳😳

Well for this last week, I would have chosen the confession scene dialogues as the best but I do not want to write them down coz it will loose its beauty..but barring them lets look upon some of the striking dialogues we had this week'

Poonambha :

Sach ye hai ki Kesar ne tere mann mai Pati ke roop main ghar kar liya hai'.

I thought it was really powerful dialogue by poonambha..Gulaal ko kya mujhe bhi laga 440 W ka jhatka '😆

.but it was so required for Gulaal..she had to be pushed from everywhere'only a Mother knows what her child is going through 'and Gulaal could instantly relate to it 'coz if you remember she was all the time having FBs of those few days where they lived like a man and a wife!!!

Motabha:

Jab bheete hue kal ki yaad dhundhali ho jaaye

Tho hum samaj lena chahiye ki uski jagah aaj ne le li hai

What a beautiful relationship they share right'Motaba knows her in and out..and she just needed these lines from him to come out of the guilt feeling '

Kesar :

aur fir kuch bhi tho hamesha ke liye nahi rehta na

badalta rehta hai

ye din ye raat mausam aur rishte (loved the voice modulation here)

kuch bhi hamesha ke liye nahi rehta

main bhi zinadagi main aage bad raha hu na

When Kesar uttered these lines'tears filled my eyes'

So true..everything keeps on changing..and we have to just move on..coz life goes on !!!

It has to be the hug scene, when.the Kumbhakaran finally awakes and goes loitering in the corridors...By the way, Gulaal when wakes up did look like a ghost has entered her body na??


And ofcourse, the way Kesar barged in...I swear the ghost looked better than him!! Gadha kahin ka!! Should have shaved and come na...Gullu ko impress karna toh banta tha na!!!
(By the way who thinks that the CVs knows our penchant for White Kurta?? because when he had an accident, he sure was not wearing the white kurta na?? So again the question?? who changed him😛)
Oh So I so loved the searching look he gave her when she stares at him..half relieved, half crying and half complaining!!
The bump on his head did make him head strong na! Or the moment her tears would have started , he would be like 'oh oh Gulaal and ah ah Gulaal!!'




But today he just stood there...letting her cry,,,making her realize what she will be if he was not there before her eyes for the rest of her life!!
Oh and I am just too breathless to say anything about this scene!

But he still doesnot relent does he!! Aaj toh aar ya paar! this is the Maha episode! ab kab tak raah dekhni padegi mujhe😆

He is as if baiting her, so what I could not go yesterday, I will go tomorrow ..or any other day...But I have to go na!!!


He did wait for her answer na..and when she stands there looking like a stature, he just begins to turn and go...when she asks him, 'Is it necessary to go!!'
Aww Just Love the searching gaze he again gives to her..as if wanting to believe her, wanting to believe that the biggest happiness of his life is just within his grasp and afraid to reach out for it...

And he so simply says it na...HE doesnot want to go! She is sending him!! She has to know that he was leaving because of her na??
Oh and I love this complaining Gulaal...She had felt bad na, when she was told that he was going...HE had not told her!!
And Ah...he doesnot give in...My Kesuda is back!! when he says..even if I tell when do you give me straight answers!! now also you are going round and round in circles!! haha!! he is so out to get a confession from her!! Me likes Me likes😳

and the way Gulaal says ...Mat ja!' O did I say MP was just fab...smiling, crying, saying sorry, exercising her right and at the same time begging!! All in her one expression!!

And boy! does he stare back..waiting for more...and afraid of the same!!

And when she says...'Tere bina jeene ki aadat ab nahi rahin!'


I swear Just look at him!! I actually said that he was on the verge of having a heart attack!!!

I just CANNNOT Describe what this expression did to me!! And I can;t stop tears everytime I see it!!

The man has been craving this one moment whole of his existence, and when he is handed it to him, he doesnot even have the breath left to collect it...Just look at this..she flings herself to him, and he is so much in daze that he forgets to put his arms around her!!

And did I hear a sound ...a guttural sound when she is crying 'Mat ja' on his chest! As if he just resuscitated himself to life!!!
Oh and the way he then comes to life when she says Dont let me go anywhere and he catches hold of her shoulder and tells her that he wont let her go even if she tells him to do so!!!!
Oh and then we so have a happy hug...I just loved the blissful smile on her face when he hugged her back!! I even loved the crows feet she got around her eyes smiling so happily...Gosh... I will so miss them

Last week, I had given this much coveted title to apni new and (not) improved Paanbha but this week we have a new winner, well actually we have a tie between Talli and her new and (we don't care if she has finally improved), Mother in law!😕

Now, I know that we have been waiting for Talli to get married and leave that house for a long time and I am quite sure all of us were dancing like paagal baaraati's (ummm, do you really want to be from the bride's party when the bride is Talli?) when they finally exchanged the varmaala's and completed the pheras! Best parts of that scene were of course Gullu's fb's during each phera and Kesu observing the marriage rituals longingly (well mentally, Kesu was grabbing Gullu, tripping Talli-Kunnu and skipping around the agni as fast as he could to take those 4 pheras with his "patni").😆 Anywho, Kulli marriage was completed without a hitch (thank God for small mercies) and the happily wedded couple decided to grace MB's mansion to say goodbye.

Sudhi ' the excited mother of the bride was busy preparing the aarti kii thaal, SF, PB, MB were lounging around waiting for Kulli to show up'well physically they were waiting but mentally:😉

MB: Kesu nai kyaa emotional dialogue maara aaj subah'.nautanki kaheeka! Soch rahaa hu Mumbai mai apne dost Jignesh se phone karke Kesu ko kissee serial mai lagwaa doo'.phir hum sab Mumbai move kar jaayenge'😎

SF: Pataa nahi iss ghar kii drama kab khatam hogi!!?? Yeh Giga aur MB nai kyaa emotional dialogue maarkar mujhe yahaa rukwaa diyaa'. nautanki kaheeke'Mumbai mai Jignesh bhai se baat karke in dono ko serial mai lagwaa doongi'.phir yeh sab Mumbai move kar jaayenge'😎

PB: Hai, mai kitnee sundar hoo'yeh Black odhni se merii aankho kaa rang kitnaa ubhar jaata hai🤪'.MB se kehke Mumbai mai Jignesh bhai se baat karwaake kissee serial mai heroine ban sakti hu mai'.phir mai Mumbai move kar jaayoongi'😎

Enter Kulli and Kesu to bring these three out of their mental Mumbai dreams'..Everyone is happy, Kulli kaa swaagat and aarti satkaar blah blah blah🤢! JK saunters down the stairs and walks up to Talli with a huge watery smile, tells Talli to be a good bahu, blesses her and asks for forgiveness for being so rude to her in the past (yeh to hattrick ho gayaa JK ke liye) and if this was not enough sweetness to kill us ' we had another sweet treat (Raman) lurking around to give us a hell of a diabetic attack! Did anyone notice the love in Sudhi's eyes when Raman was blessing Kulli????🤣 Ok, so mel milaap over and Talli gets a full fledged biddai ' proper with a background song, rona dhonaa, hugging, feet touching, leaving imprints of her hand on the wall and on MB's White kurtaa etc etc etc 😕(I wonder if Gulaal got all this fanfare when she left home?). Talli being Talli had to taunt Kesu before Kunnu whisked her away na? Agar Gulaal bhii yahaa hoti'stupid woman😡😡, that was her way of saying ' na na na na na na'I just got married'.you just got single'na na na na na na!! I wanted to hug Kunnu for pulling her away FINALLY!

As if this Kulli wedding bidaai fiasco was not enough, CV's gave us a Cherry on top of the ice cream with Kulli's entry into the sasuraal scene! Sugary sweet MIL turned into evil saas the moment Kunnu walked away'.what a surprise haina'.LIKE, SERIOUSLY???😡😭 You know I could go on and talk about Kulli's SR but if by now you guys have not already banged your head against the wall by reliving these precious Kulli moments'if I go on'YOU SURE WILL!!

By the way, I was just wondering where Talli got her post marriage wardrobe from.😕 I did not see her leave MB's with any luggage'back in the day she used to open Gullu's cupboard and just take whatever she wanted'.she must be doing the same with the MIL now!! 🤣

Oh it has to be this one na
When Kesar wakes in the morning and looks at his jaw harpand thinks of giving it to her..That was such a lame excuse na..he could never have left without seeing her...but somehow that reminded me that when Krishna left Gokul forever, he gave his bansri to Radha, and never played that again...
Owww...me sad wad now

And did somehow feel that Gulaal's happiness at hearing the motor bike was because she had a feeling that he was not going and had come to tell her that ?? and one look at his face told her that she was wrong??

And the saffron boy again breaks your heart isn't it..the way he tells her that he had expected not to see her , may be because he had expected that she would have denied to meet her even if he came to her house like this, just like she had not talked to him on the phone and told Poonam to convey that she was tired...
The way he tells her...I AM GOING... and that she did not come...
He did not ask her WHY??? I mean just look at this guy who used to get all riled up because Gulaal would ignore him when wishing best of luck to Talli...who would get mad when somebody else would take care of his things instead of Gulaal..that guy is now so deflated that he doesnot even think that he DESERVED her one visit...he didnot even think that it was WRONG of her ...not to come and bid him one last farewell...*sigh* you just cannot not cry, can you
and the way he tells her that nothing is permanent...everything changes..how he never imagined she might not be a part of his life...eventhough living apart from her for 10 years she had never not been an unalienable part of his life..but this time even the letters will not be a part of his life because he had written his last letter...
Owww...I so know that tom is a happy ending but still this spirals me into such deep dungeon of hopelessness...
And then the way he jumps to defend herself from her own self degrading statement...that she can NEVER be a source of unhappiness... wherever he goes, wherever he stays she will be a constant source of happiness...that is HIS Gulaal na...and then as if he could stay no more..he just slips that harp in her hands and leaves...

Who else but for the first time we have REVA!!!!
I mean her MIL told her to RUN after Gulaal and the poor woman runs...without any question and without any application of mind too...must have run after the 'Banwari Piya Ki' bare footed...and so sweet na..she even follows (I mean tries to follow) her to Kesar's room...Thankfully PB got some last minute sense and stopped her.I was just imaging the scene where both women would be running like that across the village...What a sight that would have been!!!🤣

The Ghost!
With all the concepts of right or wrong erased from her mind, her subconscious had to come to give her that final push na!! He had to come!! He has always been the bridge between the two and he was the last link to her past! Albeit he always will stay ...Talsagra house can never be without Vasant!! He has that ethereal quality which would exist for like generations and his stories will be told as if legends...But she had to let go of him, and only she could have done that..and so he appears..telling her how she needs to see that she had always been with Kesar!! how when he was there she never felt alone!! Vasant has long ago started being just a part of her memories and her life has been taken over by Kesar...

I liked that Vasant invaded Kesar's room and not hers when she was alone there crying!! And did anyone notice they did not use Piyu maahri with Vasant this time!!!

And ofcourse the small things like, Vasant and Chhotu Kesar's photu on the side table and the fact that both Vasant and Gulaal look at the sleeping Kesar when Vasant says that he is happy that he has brought the smile back into her life!! and how he says...It is my 'wish and your heart's voice!!' ..His wish had been so supreme for her all her life na...and he telling her that his wish is her heart's voice ..as if telling that his wish can never be something which her heart wont want to!!
