I guess I am a fast reader.ab main ek aur baar padhungi na😳so where is the next one😆
It is good to see you are handling each issue in its own space.
Chapter 2
Scenes that I liked :
Kesar running towards Gulaal trying to cover her head with his hand barely managing to reach her head. And her acknowledgement of the same saying "chata hi khafi tha jo mere sar pe tha tere haath ke roop mein". This he also later conveys to his brother. The desperation to grow up is very much a teenage trait. In Chapter II, Though she evaded the issue of DV, still she prompted herself and asks him to listen to what he feels right whatever others may say. May be that applies even later when he will have to listen to his heart.
On the whole Kear is on the constant watch out for any conversation between Gulaal and Dushyant and its pretty evident that he dislikes it.
In the mango orchard scene, what I liked is that Kesar finds it in him to broach the subject to her and exactly tell her what his schoolmates had labelled her as. When a youngster is able to discuss the issue with her, it is time she realised that though not fully aware, he is learning to understand some mature talk from now on. But as I read into the further topics, I still find Gulaal who still finds it hard to accept that he is growing up.
Chapter 3
The beginning showed her contemplating about her single handed decision and wanting to amend it but very quickly she is again taking a single handed decision to send him away to a school far away from home.
Kesar ..May I call him manipulative (not in the actual sense) that he knows too well how to have his way that he chose his mother to act as his shield to avoid being sent away. Typical of an adolescent mind.
The terrace scene is a lovely parallel you have drawn from the show. And it looks genuine here because that's the age boys do start taking notice of girl's beauty.
Chapter 4
Gulaal's stunned expression at Sudhas proposal to get Talli married to Kesar appears genuine. The show however showed her initiating and sowing this seed in Sudhas and Talli's young heart. But need to admit she did feel the pinch when in the show JK told her "aaj jo apna hai, woh kal paraya ho jayega" . The proposal coming from anyone else in the family would have definitely made more sense because they treated Gulaal as a demi-god and her promise to find a girl for him when he grew up should have been taken seriously by her family than anyone else. Like once Poonamba, had told Gulaal much later, it's easy to make promises but it's hard to abide by it.
Dushyant's silent promise to Kesar to fulfill all the duties of a brother. Great.
It is nice to see Pannba's insecurities. Actually it would be right if Gulaal for once stopped assuring Pannba that she would take care of Kesar. There is nothing wrong if a mother takes care of her son for once. In fact Gulaal should have given a mother the happiness of nursing her son in illness, well that should have been part of her checklist in being the dutiful DIL.
More authentic it appears when Gulaal asks Kesar how he ARRANGED the money rather than asking how he MANAGED to get money. It showed her confidence that he wouldn't do anything disrespectful. In the show probably Kesar was younger and was influenced without knowing it was wrong to gamble.
I know you managed to include a scene where Kesar makes her wear the bangles. :)
Chapter 5
Simple yet grand plans of Kesar to get even with his teacher is quite amusing.
Do feel bad for Pannba who is witnessing her son drift away from and even when he is being told about his family's expectations from him; his mind is busy waiting to act as the promised "kavach" to Gulaal rather than anyone else. Even in the show, though I support Kesar, I feel that as a son to the family, he should have been more responsible. Well the show never highlighted Kesar as a SON to the family; it was all about Kesar being there for Gulaal. Or rather I should say, the channel did not give them the time to showcase that aspect of Kesar.
Well the "baccha" remark irked Kesar. The least one should know dealing with adolescents in whichever relation you are to that youngster is to stop calling them a kid or branding and attributing their erratic moods to "bachpana". Here you have brought out his rant that however much he tries to prove himself, less or more mature, he is always labeled as "baccha".
Quick patch upbetween them. Well her tears are always his weakness. However much he is frustrated or angry, one thing that brings peace within him is to see her smile.
Chapter 6
It is so unfortunate to see elders branding a youngster as a kid and avoiding his unresolved inquisitiveness of the basis of his relationship with Gulaal through Deeyarvatu. You have shown Kesar to be in 12th. Should be 17-18. Parents need to broach the topic and initiate the talk to make him understand than getting wild at him for his actions.
The punishment was uncalled for. They needn't explain the entire essence of a marriage between couples. But they need to at least make it clear to him that the DV was only a temporary resolve. He is old enough to atleast understand (minus the dushyant aspect of the planned DV) that the marriage happened so that Gulaal could stay back with them. At least that needs to be addressed.
Having said that, I should say that Gulaal just dilutes the entire issue when she seems to relax on hearing the reason for Motabha's decision. She does not understand the gravity of whatever situation that led MB to take the decision to punish him in the first place. Yes, he claims he did not commit a mistake by saying what he said but even if Kesar had given some thought to it and contemplated if he was ever wrong, Gulaal's cool demeanor on learning the issue that cropped up in her absence dilutes the entire purpose of MB's decision. Kesar who looks up to Gulaal for everything would never learn to respect his dad's decisions when Gulaal brushes off the issue that his dad finds it grave. Being stubborn is by in itself an ingrained quality in the growing up years. It is okay to confront ones father to explain yourself, but the basic quality to respect him for his ability to judge should come. Like we say if a child grows up seeing the mutual respect between parents, he/she learns to respect them and others in general. I hope I am getting at what I want to say.
**Edit**
I knew about the server update but didn't realise that it was not for the Sunday based on IST. Uff what a great timing to try posting...:(
Aditi..First of all a big hug for that u will now prolong the pre leap period🤗..🤗 You need to thank Piyu for that, she made me do it😳
.I loved both the updates so much...the Dushyanth Kesar part was so sweet and touch,..Dushyant always felt responsible for Kesar na,especially after Vasant's death😊
and what I loved the most is MB's decision of sending him to a school in the nearby village and not to town. and the bangle scene 😳...how much I have craved to see such a scene in the show after Kesar's return..u made my dream come true..
I know I wanted to see something like that too,I was just fulfilling my wish too😳
and Gulaal's response to it...so heavenly...very nice that Kesar earned money for it and didnt steal like in the show.hmm Kesar was only 12 when he gambled for the money but I guess that was more due to his ignorance than anythiing else My most fav bit is where that here Sudha is giving the promise of Kesar Talli alliance and not Gulaal, and her slight shock and subtle hesitation was like cherry on the top. It has to be like that na'😳 Aditi u describe it so well that we could really feel their true bond and all that we missed in the show is happening right in front of us..Thank u so much Aditi..Please update soon dear. 😊
Thanks Alanta, that's such a huge compliment I have updated few chapters please read and review when you can,Thanks for your lovely comments and continual support🤗
res 😳
Edit:Aditi 🤗...wow this is an amazing update...Thanks Ramya😳For me the whole update is all abt kesar n his confusions, contradictory statements, concerns n what not...yup that was the aim,his conflicting though as result of being treated as child sometimes and adult for other is what I wanted to show starting from kesar who has to stay at home though he had some awesome plan which is all gone waste..I guess being a restless teenager this is part and parcel of growing up process😊.his confusion on the contradictory statements that every one say that he is grown up n also he is still a bachcha...his whole n sole aim to grow up soon to take care of gulaal along with the responsibilities of every one...though he know he would get to know answers to all his questions some time or the other after some years...for him to wait till that so called point is not that easy...Yeah he wanted to grow up quickly and shoulder all responsibilities of his brother that included Gulaal,in his mind he was very clear about expectations everyone had of him offo he is all angry as she is not spending some time with him...bachcha sach mein tu bachcha hi rahega 😆...oops gulaal bhi toh yahi kahaa...n see he is all angry with all this bachcha talk...i just love his dialogues here..he did so many things to prove that he is not a bachcha anymore...atleast he wants gulaal to acknowledge this...but here gulaal is teh one who is being that blind...n see bachcha is very much upset with her shaky voice that he has to come up with some excuse to make everything fine between them...i loved that scene when they both feed each other 😳...I remember that cowshed walaa scene in show after that bangles incident...Yeah he immediately melts at the slighted hint of her tears na,no matter how angry or hurt he is Gulaal's one tear and he is ready to give up on any and everything😳kesar reaction knowing that gulaal went to mandir with his dushyanth ba...i expected this reaction...what ever may be the reason...his concern would be how can she go with out him...with out asking him...that too with dushy...n ofcourse being his wife 😳...Well he is trying to act as he would expect his Vasantbha to,after all he is expected to fit into his shoes so why shdn't he expect the treatment Vasant would have got from everyone around himAditi...just wow👏...I am just loving loving the kesar n gulaal bond...i am expecting that the last scene is not yet done..I am expecting it to continue in the next chapter...n also the reaction of MB, pb n more important gulaal n dushy...do update soon...can we expect a update in this week end itself or have to wait for next week end...Thanks Ramya for your lovely comments,I have updated couple of chapters please read and review, thanks for your continual support,it means a lot to me🤗

aditi hi😃🤗 you knw i always loved this ziddi possesive chotu kesu, ali potrayed it so well😊.holi scene and gullu-mb confrontation scene
.r 1 of my fav.coming to chapter, sorry to be biased but i totally agree wid kesu's pov. i mean look at him, so much efforts he is taking for gullu's happines and he is trying his best to fit in vasant mojdhi .aur yeh gullu ko dikh bhi nahi raha?well Gullu was on her own trip of fulfilling promises and being devoted wife to Vasant and obedient DIL for the family na,she was completely ignorant of Kesar's growing feelings for her to be other than that of affection and adoration for someone who he was very close too,for her his entire world revolved around her and vice versa,so whatever he did for her what out of that affection, love and care of a guardian/ward relationshipmy fav part was when he becomes angry wid gullu for going out wid dushyantji.and i extend my support in demand for holi scene, it is my fav scene and i knw u will do 100% justice to itThanks Shradha,I will include Holy scene as that's part of my punishment for making out of line comment anyway😳 but it will have it's own space and will be included at the right time😊Thanks for your lovely comments🤗 I have updated few more chapters, please read and review whenever you get a chance

Aww Thanks Piyu return hugswa,I had to keep your request na,you gave me such a lovely surprise, itna toh main kar hi sakti hu na to show my gratitude😳
And who will throw rotten tomatoes*rolls sleeves and stands before you...*..It is such a heartwarming subject you chose and I am in awe with the way yu are dealing with different untouched aspects keeping the essence of the basic charcterisation same. For instance..The return of the ziddi bacha is just so awww...Lubbed the banter and the haq and all the complaints..👏
Thanks Piyu but this characters and ability to relate to them is what attracted us to this show na so how can I deviate from what we all like and identify with, for me Kesar will never be Kesar without his Zid,gussa, venerability, intensity, passion, stubbornness and single-minded determination,I am glad you are liking the treatment,it means a lot coming from you😳
Also my fav moment was the PB and zimmedari convo.👏..Such a potent hint to what trouble coming next...⭐️
Thanks for picking that one,yes one of my favorite too, here she was trying to make him understand and there he goes again responsibilities yes but how can that not include her😕
Ufff the final nail in the coffin was that Kesu's frustation of being treated as a kid..though he is growing up physically and trying to take care of her in the best possible way..😭..Lubbly👏
Yup all he wants is her to understand the change in him, acknowledge his gestures and treat him like an adult an equal and when he doesn't get that naturally it's back to teenage tantrum of hell with the world kind of attitude😲
And then we see the return of Jealous, possesive and gussail kesu..So looking forward to the next chappi...😍
I knew you would like it😃Chalo I have updated two more chapters,I will wait for your verdict on them
Also kudos to the pareshani dialogue and KESU KA JAWAAB..Adorable👏
And I echo with Mini and Shradha..I want a holi scene ..Its a demand *stomps foot and throws a tantrum*😆
oops I have to include that somewhere I know, part of my punishment for putting my foot in my mouthelse Mini would kill me
I am so looking forward to an update today*hopeful muh*
Aditi..⭐️..Brilliant is simply a lesser word to describe the intensity of the emotions with which you are experimenting in this SS.Thanks again for keeping my request🤗
Aww Thanks Piyu am in cloud nine now, such a huge compliment😳 and please don't say thank you yaar, just hugswa🤗
Hi Aditi,
Honestly I typed out twice and it just wiped out.Uff its my third attempt. If this gets posted, well and good. That was just a little prayer: I havent even spell checked or checked grammar once again.yeah i was trying to post at the same time and it kept giving me errors but your explanation about the server down here in the post addressed that for me-Thanks for the effort Ganga I know it's irritating and frustrating but it means a lot to meI like how you are dealing with each character. So far, its been really good. Kesar's growing up phase and Pannba's insecurities and situations that are really very genuine. Wish MB was the real head in charge of the family than giving in to his anger routed to wrong directions. Gulaal is same Galool(credit Neil bhatt to use this term). In the show I had wished they had better role for Gigakaka in helping his brother take decisions for family.Ganga I am only attempting to explore things that were left unsaid or I would have wanted to see it differently the basic characterisation remains same so I guess credit should go to the show ,as far as MB is concerned he was a sensible and level headed man, I hope I have been able to justify his stand in my 7th chapter where he does explain to Kesar his reasons for sending him awayIt is good to see you are handling each issue in its own space.
@bold yes I would be using that later for self-reflective Kesar and as far as Gulaal is concerned she always did what she thought was right thing to do no matter what others told her she went by her convictions and I wanted her to give same advice to Kesar
On the whole Kear is on the constant watch out for any conversation between Gulaal and Dushyant and its pretty evident that he dislikes it.
He was always uncomfortable with anyone who came close to Gulaal even Talli in his mind her entire world had to be him and his needs as it was with him,in a teenage mind this is something very prevalent,if they have a idol they worship they create that exclusive invisible circle around them where only two of them exist and no one dare break that boundary,I think it was same with him
In the mango orchard scene, what I liked is that Kesar finds it in him to broach the subject to her and exactly tell her what his schoolmates had labelled her as. When a youngster is able to discuss the issue with her, it is time she realised that though not fully aware, he is learning to understand some mature talk from now on. But as I read into the further topics, I still find Gulaal who still finds it hard to accept that he is growing up.
I would say he was always direct and honest with her without any care in the world or need of any preliminaries, he was trying to justify his anger and also trust he had in her, there is no doubt in his mind about Gulaal's innocence,he blames anyone and everyone but her for such talks and that''s why he targets his anger at Dushyant most of the time cause Gulaal cannot be blamed for anything period
Yes I wanted to depict her reactive nature, she hardly gives a thought about her actions from long term perspective all she wants to deal with is now which is so not right and later on when MB points out same to her,she starts reflecting and showing those restraints when Sudha asks her to confirm her statement
Yes expectations from her promise was never dealt with in the show and as family members believed in her to stick to what she preached it was necessary in my opinion to show how her statement was going to come and haunt her later
Well in my opinion when it came to Kesar she was really selfish,he was centre of her world and doing things for him, being around his beck and call was her prerogative, she never saw it fit for anyone even his mother to invade that space and he was the same that's why I included that line coming from Kesar which made PB leave that room and in later chapter Gulaal feeling pang of jealousy when PB refrains her from taking food for him
More authentic it appears when Gulaal asks Kesar how he ARRANGED the money rather than asking how he MANAGED to get money. It showed her confidence that he wouldn't do anything disrespectful. In the show probably Kesar was younger and was influenced without knowing it was wrong to gamble.
yup trust factor kicking in and yeas he is 15 here old enough to understand a difference between right and wrong
I know you managed to include a scene where Kesar makes her wear the bangles. :)
😊 something we always wanted I guess
Chapter 5
Simple yet grand plans of Kesar to get even with his teacher is quite amusing.
typical teenage trait😳
Do feel bad for Pannba who is witnessing her son drift away from and even when he is being told about his family's expectations from him; his mind is busy waiting to act as the promised "kavach" to Gulaal rather than anyone else. Even in the show, though I support Kesar, I feel that as a son to the family, he should have been more responsible. Well the show never highlighted Kesar as a SON to the family; it was all about Kesar being there for Gulaal. Or rather I should say, the channel did not give them the time to showcase that aspect of Kesar.
Yes that's true but I have tried addressing this in my 7th chapter, hope you would agree
Yes Gulaal tear-shed Kesar's biggest nemesis,no matter how angry, hurt or in pain he is,he will melt at slighted threat of her tears, that's what this bond so unique and adorable
Ganga,it was immediate reaction to a teenage tantrum any father would have had,he was being disrespectful to his elders, there had to be a way of getting a point across shouting angrily and exerting his right as a husband over a relationship that is questionable is not what a father would expect from his son, this was completely out of line behaviour, I gave my 10th standard board exams when I was 15,I am not sure about how it works in other sates but in Maharashtra you give your board exams in 10th standard and 11 & 12 th are done as junior college, not only this I have used my exp of studying for this exams in this chapters which were really intense and pressure cooker enviorments imo for any teenager growing up in India with lots of expectations from their parents, I have tried to deal with understanding issue in my next chapter
The punishment was for the behaviour and not the question,he had to learn how to talk to his elders no matter how angry or how wronged you are there is certain limit you will not cross when depicting your anger and this is what I was trying to project,I have tried explaining this in MB's talk with Gulaal
Yes Ganga,I am getting your point and hopefully next chapter answers this point so I am not going to go in detail about explaining it here
Thanks for your efforts in getting this posted,I am glad you had a success with it,It's nice to read such a detailed and thoughtful analysis on work that's so close to my heart,it feels so good that even though there are 8/10 people reading it they are the one whose opinion and views matter to you,Thanks a lot for your lovely comments Ganga, will always look forward to your views,it means a lot to me
