I have been a silent reader on the GK scenes post. This one was such a big step towards establishing GK relationship! Till now, I was a bit confused if Kesar ever saw her this light becoz before this they had the fall and catch scene of Kesar-Talii🤢, which made me rethink dat if I was expecting something which I shud not. I still remember the ad for tjis episode where the voice told in Talli's heart there is only Kesar but who rules Kesar's heart??? and they showed this moment with Piyu Mhaari in the background. Must say, Mansi looked stunning in this scenes and Neil's expressions were marvellous(like he was intrigued by her beauty, drawn into her and seeing her in a completely new light). I love the way he says his eyes not leaving Gulaal-"Tu toh humesha se hi sundar lagti hai" and still keeps on gazing like he is enchanted! Kudos to the CVs on such a subtle yet mesmerizing scene.Nur- amazing caps- I neva miss them- they are just so beautiful👏
Aree yaar these caps have taken me back to those days where i never used to miss one single episode of gulal, how i miss those days, aur ab dekho i hardly watch any shows & roam around this forum like a bhatakti atma
Lovely caps Nur!
This scene was pretty much a surprise actually..cos after the breakfast scene I expected the scene to shift to the temple..
He finds her beautiful inside out...and the use of humesha is understandable cos shes always been this way to him...she had a golden heart that's what he's seen and believed in...I don't know if I'm making sense..lol...but of course he was young back then and now there is this new emotion that's triggered in him..which will build on later.
Okie here now - maha late latif on a thread that I'm supposed to reserve and post on first page for - meh!
---So I personally love the way yet another meal time scene plays out between GK - does we realize how consistently backdrops and scene bases are used in this show, say for example this entire idea of meal time dynamics, and yet everytime, we get to watch something new? As opposed to let's say literally any and every other show on TV, where even something as 'hawt' by design as trip and fall or dupatta scenes get oh-so-cliche after like the 3rd re-run. Okay, they're bad enough the first time, but even 'phans' start finding repetition in them after a while. Not with GK. Everytime you see these two together at a meal gathering, the purpose is different. Everytime they have to do a 'pati-patni' pooja, the idea is showing the advancement in their bond. Everytime we get one or the other version of 'aur tu' - the tone is a different message, and the cliche never really hits them! In the case of this script - and this one alone - repetition, like some literary tool, becomes a kind of classic consistency which they maintain, tying threads each time and moving ahead everytime they utilize a 'same theme base'. Totally agree...and I think the finite length of the show helped keep that freshness to their scenes...even if it's mealtime or a pooja like you said, always there was a new element, a new thread or old threads being tied up so wonderfully *sigh* I love this show.----And I know Mansi has left her hair open in scenes after, but I like them the best here - without any hair pins and what not! She just looks surreal, and maybe, seeing her through Kesar's eyes - shinning with a different light as you all said - makes a difference too! I think its safe to say that every one, with the exception of the barging fool - is quite in agreement with Kesar's sentiment! LOL I agree...Manasi's hair looked GORGEOUS in this scene...that wig was well brushed for this scene I guess🤣...you really can't blame Kesar or anyone from being enthralled...btw so no one else found it funny that Gulaal's "tayyari" for the pooja only involved brushing her hair, tying it up again and putting on her bangles again?😆😆

Kesar has had 10 years of letters from Gulaal, where in she has told him about her aspirations and dreams for him... in a way, she does share her life with him, while he still withholds his completely.. he grows up knowing what's going on in her life, and what she feels and thinks of things... while she is at a complete loss... she knows the 12 years old boy, who had gone to hostel and has returned after 10 years. She has no clue how his life was in the 10 years, what he thought and how his thinking and likes may or not have changed... one of the reasons why she still treats him like the 12 year old... while, Kesar, like truly said by Gulaal when he comes back, knows her heart better than herself, but is yet to look beyond the doubts and insecurities surrounding him... Oh what a brilliant point, Minks! I never realized that before but it's so true...in a sense yes she did share her entire life with him those ten years while he gave her NOTHING...no wonder she still clung to the memories of that 12 year old boy...while he grew up knowing her every thought, dreams in those 10 years *sigh*...Now that 'tu mere mann ko samajhta hai' line becomes even more poignant *sigh*...but yes obviously Kesar KNOWS it all but finds it difficult to TRUST because of his own turmoil...oh what a story...I realllyyy love this story. So, yes, Gulaal is finally trying to unravel Kesar's mind and tip-toeing around to see how and what works best around him... while he is trying and failing to stay aloof from his nemesis in a way, she so holds all the strings to his life, unknowingly so...This whole fleeting look of admiration and love for Gulaal, was such a clear-cut disclosure of his heart's wishes... yet, he manages to hide them forcibly and stay away till the epic orchard scene... Beautifully summed up!
Nur all the caps (Batch 2) did not came up on my screen. Why is that?
