Another fab analysis as always - i very much agree on the heavy dutyness we got and definately the last scene, the musical act, we saw many things... D looking at Gulaal like that, did surprise me for a long time we hadnt got that look from D at all, and Raman's words came back echoing to me, and JK is already freaked out on many things esp D and Gulaal esp as Raman fuelled that again yesterday
As for Gulaal - she knows, she knows everything - that woman has inkling powers like anything, but she also knows how to let them slide... (which is why i dont hold it against her, in what she slides coz it will play back into future scenes and episodes and when it does it will make so much sense as well hopefully lol)
I personally liked what i saw of Gulaal in her exchanged with JK, i saw her standing up for herself, even not for anything else
She knew the earrings were for her in some ways, the inkling she had the moment she saw them in Kesar's hand, the moment she saw Kesar looking at them lovingly... and Kesar as i said earlier took a risk, he knew it and he played her... (and it one of the things this friendship phase gives him the way to how he and Gulaal are with one another now after the burden has been lifted you see that in almost each scene of how they are - expecting nothing more) watching each and every emotions and expression on her face and breaking it at that crucial moment when Gulaal espression got a gussa look and she tried to say something
Though he did say its for Reva, i did see that she asked back for a confirmation from him - after he says its for Reva and she asks, toh mujhe... as in why are you keeping them near me, and well Kesar gives his answer to see whether they will look nice on her, and they will do if they look nice on Gulaal *(as you just said he gave her a compliment as well) - so yes Gulaal in sense got her confirmation from Kesar again when she asks him, though that inkling was so there as well... coz that look on her face never changed even when he revealed it was for Reva, it wasnt like she had ok, thats fine relieved look totally - but i think she believes its for Reva
I find that accidental scene (slip and catch) and the earring kinda scenes where Kesar takes a risk will happen and should happen, to get Gulaal awkward and conscious of it...
Today even when i saw KG work as a team, the team that they always were - i saw that essence coming through, its slotted in well between them as you saw no awkwardness in the way he called her, asked to have a word and so on... and yes i still belive Gulaal knows Kesar like anything and just like he knows Gulaal and as you said today Kesar did something for Motabha, and brought the family together (minus Paanbha, where is she) - what made me even happy was that he made that first step and who did he want to share it with and have a saath with Gulaal...
Motabha and Gulaal always had wanting to see him be everything they expect... but we all know Kesar isnt Vasant, Vasant was something else, and Kesar is something else... today i guess i do see an emerging of a ideal person the home needs.. all the personalities you mentioned, and one thing he always looked for and always will be is Gulaal... his eyes seek her and only her - she is the what holds him together - she is his lifeline in so many ways, seeing her also smiling and somewhat happy (i dont think she is enitrely happy, but that another discussion lol) is what he longs for esp now
As for Talli, i think i see another breakdown coming her way - only coz she has a slight hope in her still alight, even if she does want to see KG settled within themselves... (but then again like the mandir scene she feels like the odd one out, esp in the fall and slip scene looking at both) she is not happy and she is not sad as well, its something else, and i do see a place where she will go and its not a good one, i always said i dont see Talli being evil or vampish, but there has to come a time, where she just gives up and has that one final breakdown, only coz she is carrying that hope... and also what Gulaal/Talli's scene will bring tomorrow will also see what indication Talli is going, and also what it means for Kesar-Gulaal...
I also did see that the fall and support from Kesar was symbolic whenever she falls well not literally lol, but he will be there to catch her in any situation or so on
One thing bothers me is D's look towards Gulaal (its got back 'that love' factor in) - and how much more of those looks we will see from now on... this deeyarvatu 3 month limit thing has changed not just for KG and their phase in how they are now in the friend zone, but it also has changed for ppl them around as well

The only thing she will purposefully ignore is Kesar's feelings towards her! She KNOWS what they are, how run they deep but it's something she will brush away (as we all know)

LOL so true...now she feels "safe" around him...and she seems to understand every thought in his mind or heart except ofcourse one major one that she still studiously ignores...but again and again in this epi, we see her spooked...she WANTS to believe that she has her "baccha" Kesar back cuz that's the one she feels "safe" with...but boy is she wrong😆

BOLD: That was my fav scenes from the episode!! Our Kesuda is all grown up now (sniff sniff). I loved the way he pulled the earring bluff on Gulaal and she knows he is bluffing as well!! Earrings for Reva??? Sure, sure Kesu..we believe you and so does Gulaal😆 Actually, he scared Gulaal twice today..once when he went inside the kitchen and demanded to speak to her - in private...Gulaal's expression said it all..."Oh God, this Kesuda wants to talk to me about his paap kii bhaavna again!!" The second time of course was when she just assumed that he was buying those earrings for her...BUT, Kesu was two steps ahead...

LOL I don't think Gulaal really knew he was bluffing in the earring scene...yes she did get spooked when she saw him put the earring up to her ear...just like she got wary in the kitchen scene when he asked to speak to her alone...but she DID buy his bluff about the earrings being for Reva...cuz that is so Gulaal...you give her even a FLIMSY excuse to keep on feeding her denial and she will grab at with both hands...no matter how non-credible it may seem😆

@Anjalg - I personally think he didn't scare Gulaal in the kitchen - IMO, he scared her much more by catching her when she pulled off the fall. She was totally spooked by his hold - physical and otherwise, ad snatched her hand out in panic!

But I do agree with Kesar being two steps ahead of Gulaal - here's a new version of him Gulaal never imagined - so good luck with that Galool! 😆

I agree...the scene he REALLY spooked her in the most was when he saved her from falling...the way she snatched her hand away from his is testament to that...in the previous two scenes she was just wary, this one really set her alarm bells ringing big time and so she got away as quickly as she could😆

Kesar knows how to play this new Galool I think...he's deffo two steps ahead of her...me likes😆

Actually wait. I was watching the earring scene again and watch Gulaal's expressionat 2.05. This is after she tells Talli that the earrings are for Rewa. So either Gulaal still has the inkling that they were for her or she's disappointed that they aren't :P

She always has an inkling on a subconscious level😆...but obviously when it really comes down to it, she will deny any knowledge as such...it's so much EASIER to believe the Reva excuse...why would she want that BOJH on her mind again?😛😆

It's always on the subconscious level with this woman :| As weird as she can be, its an amazing character sketch.

That she is... she's unlike any other character or woman - i find that so fascinating (that for some reason this woman has got my respect which grew on the deeyarvatu episode - the strength this woman carries and did), for some reason i cant even believe that i somehow get this woman, and this character (and Manasi is so awesome in playing her, each second of her emotions flickers across her, thats called acting) and most funny thing is, i bet all of you are so gonna find it funny... that i find her so simple to understand in how she will be and so on (even though she is complex), that i get confused on myself why i do😆 this show also is so about human complex emotions its fascinating 😊

^LOL no ofcourse not. She's a fascinating character. Both of them are. You understand why she has shaped up to be how she is even if you don't agree with her actions all the time. Same goes for Kesar I guess but he wears his heart on his sleeve while Gulaal has kept her heart hidden for anyone to see.

Exactly, i think i see how she is shaped up and why her actions come about, and why from her angle/ her pov its justified to an extent coz she doesnt have any malicious in what she does or bad intentions, and also see why she does need to change in order to live and also why she doesnt change as well lol and esp as with Kesar-Gulaal you so need to look at everything from another glass to see the depth of it
With Kesar, you just know he can be so much more - you had to see a growth in him, its in him coz he is Kesar as you say the man who wears his heart on his sleeve, has such deep thinking depth in, the right intentions, the love he carries for Gulaal, he is so much more, that i know he can be better in showing her it, even if she tries to not see lol - thats why i was egging him to get himself together, understand Gulaal's pov, coz that will be the actual reality for him to seek the problem and find a solution and work towards it (which what he needed as i see that somehow has happened is happening), knowing Gulaal and how she is was very important step he had to take, in getting it and getting him and Gulaal to this point today, a starting point - and other factors and issues can come and work in, and he can work along that...

Okay over the Reva excuse - I'm confident she knows its a lie. But as always, she gives herself the luxury of believing otherwise on the surface. Incidentally, she takes her make belief as far as telling Kesar to not think so much and buy the earrings. If she told him not to buy them - it would prove her guilty conscience, wouldn't it? About knowing the real truth?

I'd love to fast forward from now to the time Kesar gives them to her - and reminds her she permitted him to buy them. 😆

As for the characters - they are fascinating because they are dense, and rich at once. They are complex, and they make you want to go hit your head in walls - but isn't that so real? How many times are we playing agony aunts to best friends with messed up love lives and going all hit heads into walls over obvious seeming stuff to us - the third party - as opposed to concerned people. GK are real in that sense. They are both capable of being objective in things that don't relate to 'them'. Interestingly, Kesar's character has now evolved to go two steps beyond Gulaal - but it doesn't mean he hasn't made his share of blind mistakes. Gulaal chooses to be blind, Kesar has undergone the same in his steps towards learning life's lessons. Either way - and even for all the other characters - I really applaud the way the plot weaves circumstances which make every character everything he or she is.

About knowing the real truth? LOL Gulaal doesn't do anything half-measure when it's about doing the RIGHT thing😛...now no matter what inkling she has inside...if Kesar said they are for Reva, Gulaal jumps on board with that INSTANTLY and then ofcourse she has to see the act to the finish...why think, Kesar? Buy them...it's the RIGHT...SAHI thing to do😛😆...Baaki logon ko toh chhodo, Gulaal herself doesn't allow her guilt conscience to EVER start weighing on her mind...she's got quick fixes for that😆

Gulaal chooses to be blind, Kesar has undergone the same in his steps towards learning life's lessons. That's the thing...they BOTH make mistakes but honestly we really only see KESAR learning lessons from his mistakes, evolving from his mistakes...what we see with Gulaal is a character that is flawed in a very UNIQUE sense...I agree with your point that both K and G are usually more capable of being objective in cases that don't relate to "them" but this is especially even more true for Gulaal...KESAR is the one who has surprisingly far more maturity on the "them" issue...Gulaal's biggest defining trait as of right now is her ability to live in denial of things that are STARKLY clear in front of her...yes it's human nature to try to avoid, hide from things that make us comfortable...so that is a very real emotion...but the EXTENT to which GALOOL manages it...this woman deserves an award...really😆

Kesar at this point, like you mentioned in your post is evolving simultaneously...he's growing into a man yet the original boy inside him is also moving alongside...he never fully loses that...it's an interesting mix of the both right now...but with Gulaal, we see a person who has shut herself inside SO tight...eyes, ears, heart everything closed very very tight...the only person that makes cracks appear in those walls is Kesar.

Gulaal's true evolution is yet to begin...I'm waiting to see when...IF she really learns the lessons she needs to as well...definitely a good place would be to start to feel some regret for what she's done to KESAR as well other than just for TALLI😆
