I like... the harmless side of Kesar, the kind who needs her to look at his new found big bang theory and clap for it 😆

Very very true...Kesar does have all these aspects to his personality and what I love most about him is that he can express each and every emotion without any fear! He can be mean to Gulaal because he is hurting and the next minute he will be apologizing to her because she threatens to leave, he will profess his love to her and at the same time he is not afraid to declare his love for her in front of the entire family...so for Gulaal, he does wear his heart on his sleeve😊

About the earrings...I agree with Reemz, I was watching that part again and when Kes decided he had had enough fun and decided to let Gulaal breathe by telling her that the earrings were for Reva...Gulaal, actually looked disappointed...it was such a brief, momentary reaction but it was definitely there!! Also, why did Gulaal look so guilty when Talli walked in? Its not like she had asked Kes to buy her the earrings right? I had seen a similar reaction from Gulaal during the chunnar scenes. When Talli had walked in all dressed up wearing that chunnar...Gulaal did not look too happy about it. So Gulaal can deny an hide her feelings as much as she wants but she is definitely falling for Kes...😉

Even when Kesar spoke to Gulaal, he told her to get ready and in the meantime he will ask Talli to join them

Agree what other things you say Lennie. But Dushyant I felt was just appreciative of her. He too had seen her suffer so much in the past few days and he is happy seeing her smile at last. Only JK keeps wondering if he still holds a flame for her. Dushyant knows too very well about Gulaal. He long back told Sudha that it is easier to love someone but not so easy to respect someone. He respects her no end but is genuinely happy for her. I do not think his "love factor " has returned.

I agree with you, i watched it again and i saw that D saw her smiling and looked like he was appreciative, but still a hint of respect there in a way and he knows its No no but you know what i see from this angle, exploitation of this, and that too by Raman at some stage... coz Raman was the one who hinted he still loves her, and then what he said to JK on tuesday and now we see a look, and so thats why i say exploitation of it will begin probably in a way like Raman spread those rumours and also to freak out JK in those kind of scenes - well thats my take 😊

Hallelujah to that wish! 😆 Nah, I'm sure she'll learn her lesson - who thought a week ago that Kesar would be knocked back to sense by Terrorist Talli?! And yet, it seems more befitting than any other way now, in retrospect. I'm going to bank at least half my hopes on Talli not pulling off a magnanimous act by forgiving Gulaal tomorrow - if today has had any foreplay in that sense - because honestly, someone needs to begin with not forgiving Gulaal. Someone who matters more than JK to her. Someone who she cannot just dismiss like MB - honestly, that's what she did. She loves and respects him and wants his happiness truly, but because he pointed out her error of ways, she doesn't take his reproach seriously enough to reconsider her 2+2 basics. So someone like Talli not forgiving Gulaal in the precise forgiving manner would really help.

Now either which way, Talli's reply is going to affect Gulaal.
If she forgives her completely, there can be hope that Gulaal is away from that guilt. But that means Gulaal was never wrong and Kesar is proven wrong and it will add up to her conclusion that Kesar is immature.
If she doesn't forgive, Gulaal goes further deep into guilt and would never ever open up to Kesar. Here again, it would be as if Kesar was wrong and Gulaal was always Mahaan.
Talli has a tough task ahead. Either which way, Gulaal will try to play it around in her favor(her favor being not wanting to get out of the tortoise shell like how Srushti says)

Today's episode was indeed a good start of KG indirect romance as we all have waited for. Whatever they do, doesnt matter if its for few seconds. It always takes away our hearts😍 and i cannot help myself but to rewatch it again and agian...From the earring scene to the stairs was very well handled by kesar and gulaal. I could just see the undeveloped niche being developed slowly with the upcoming future. 😳
I am just a bit confused regarding kesar's behavior. I know that he has changed himself so neatly and i truely appreciate him for what he has become now... but we know how he felt when he was obsessed wth gulaal's love. We know how much he loves her still. But after watching the past two episodes, he doesnt seem to be in pain now. This part really freaks mee out. I mean you could see talli's pain on her face, even though she is helping kesgul to sort things out, but you could still see her worries and the discomfort when she is around kesar or gulaal... but on the other hand kesar is expressing all his feelings except the pain he has...i am sure he is wandering around like a benighted soul within himself, but how come he is over with his pain so fast..? just because he wanted gulaal's happiness...? do you think he is chestasizing himself alone and not necessarily showing it to anyone? i mean cv's could use to show a moment of kesar being alone by himself and trying to see what would happen to him and (kesgul) after the deeryarvatto will break.. i mean in that way it wont look as if nothing has affected him after whatever has happened so far...it seems like kesar has forgotten his pain and trying to keep everyone happy 😕

Hey MS!

In reply to your question about Kesar's pain - here's my take. Personally, I think Kesar has grown immensely in light of his dark night revelation. It snapped in a moment, but unlike Gulaal, he's not been hiding in a shell and has been trying to dig answers long enough to have bits and pieces which he can basically put together into a big picture now.

As for the pain - A) I think he hit rock bottom with letting go of Gulaal - and in the process, not just with what Talli said, but by his own perception he realizes he's started on an upward path to getting Gulaal back. He's not scheming it like that, or thinking it consciously out hence - but he has to be blind to not give in to the difference between then and now.
B) Talli has a different problem on her hands altogether. Her pain finds its inception not just in being turned down by Kesar, but in knowing Kesar loves someone else. She, in her given situation (even if for a moment we believe no one can predict if GK are meant t be or not) has that additional damper over her misery. She understands Kesar doesn't love her, and the way things look, he never will - because he loves another. So her pain multiplies. In Kesar's case, he may be turned down by Gulaal time and again - but one he's begun to see through her repeated living in denial and two unlike before when Dushyant's presence was an insecurity to him, he no longer holds any doubts over Gulaal's 'alter lovelife'. There is Vasant - and only him - and he's not a tangible presence to bother Kesar the way Gulaal bother Talli. Deep inside, he still believes he's the key to Gulaal's happiness and release, and in sorting through the tangles slowly, he's closing in to his place to get her back in life. He has a new hope in him - with Gulaal's warming up, and with knowing he has nothing more to lose - and that sets his position much apart from Talli. Or Dushyant for that matter. He's still pained when Gulaal pulls on her wall - but he's more persistent than before - and not in aggressive lack of control ways and it's helping him get his way more than ever! I think, all in all, it looks very bright and positive for Kesar atm - he hence has no reason to bear perpetual gloom anymore!

I hope that makes sense? My take anyway (:

The Jamuna-ba scene - I really think that this scene truly demonstrated that just like Kesar needs Gulaal's approval/presence in his life in order to be at peace and be "productive", Gulaal too needs Kesar's "support" to finally be confident and productive in her own life! Really! I mean ab tak everytime anyone mentioned the deeyarvatu, Gulaal went squirmy and shifty-eyed in front of them.. But today, NOW that she has Kesar by her side (and what she has conned herself into believing is an indication of his admission of wrong-doing with respect to any "proclamation" of love..), NOW she feels confident.. So now, when Jamuna-ba tries to rattle her cage so to speak, Gulaal fights back! And she uses the one thing she's always SHIED away from so far - her deeyarvatu and it's validity - to shut Jamuna-ba up! Now that she's assured herself that Kesar is not a "threat" to her self-inflicted colorless existence, it frees her to actually use her controversial relationship with him to HER advantage. And that really was so reminiscent of the past to me - in the past too, when she was SURE k Kesar won't be a threat to her way of life, that he'd always listen to her and do EXACTLY what she deems right, she'd gone ahead and voluntarily initiated deeyarvatu with him. And today, when she's sure again that her "child Kesar's" back and that he will NOT hurt her and he WILL ensure her happiness (which obviously - in her mind - means that he will not have any irrational expectations about the deeyarvatu or her changing her life style) she's back to being comfortable in using him and her relationship with him to her advantage - to get people to back off her case, again. Did it 10 years ago, doing it again. Only this time, Kesar is not a kid and he is NOT nasamajh and (though she has conned herself into thinking so) he is NOT okay with her voluntary initiation of obliviousness to his feelings - and this is something he will NOT allow for much longer..

👏👏👏 - Well observed and pointed out Fivr, especially the bold parts. I didn't think of it in that light - but how true! The entire deeyarvattu dialog she threw at JK suddenly makes sense - in Gulaal being Gulaal, and Gulaal needing Kesar. I still say though, I would have liked to see Kesar's reaction to those words... but maybe it's not that moment yet! 😆

The Mandir Trip-Catch - It really is unfair to Taali to be used so by Gulaal because really, being in these situation CANNOT be and IS NOT easy for her.. You can see it in the way she looks shattered every time she sees Gulaal and Kesar together, showing even a brief glimpse of the couple they'll be one day.. It really breaks her heart. But Gulaal who's lost in her own agenda to "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" does not take that into account at all.. I really loved the fact that Taali showed her silent defiance to Gulaal's decision of USING her as shield by walking up the steps ahead of KG.. She was NOT an inanimate object to be used as and when needed without any consideration of her feelings.. And even though Gulaal doesn't do it with the intentions of hurting her, the fact that Gulaal doesn't realize that she IS hurting her to begin with is not something that should be let off the hook either..

I'm going to bank on this as a sign of Talli not giving in to Gulaal's mahaan yet apology seeking speech we're in for today. I think the entire purpose of Talli on Lalji Bha mission was to steel her up. She is definitely aware of the exact dynamic underplaying GK - and it hurts her very much, even if she dares to let a flicker of hope in every now and then - her stepping ahead of GK and moving on and away from them on the stairs sure had a hint... that she would not be led on by Gulaal in all the times to come - and I'm so happy about that. Gulaal needs a reality check, and honestly Talli's unquestioning support stands majorly in the way of her seeing facts. Pulling it down will be a big step towards mission undo ostrich Gulaal!

Regarding Dushyant's wistful expression as he looked at Gulaal - maybe it was just the mood of the evening, the song and the "hopeful happiness" sort of aura that was leading him to even openly THINK about how he felt towards her.. I mean Sudha too went and tried to "hope" with respect to Raman so I really think it was just the moment - that one unguarded moment where just for a second, Dushyant's guilt took a momentary back seat! But then as Gulaal steps in front of him he averts his eyes, reaches for the glass and doesn't dare to look back up - and THAT to me was a demonstration of his guilt.. That he couldn't dare to imagine and wouldn't even ALLOW himself to consciously appreciate her. He can think about her from afar, hope and live in the shadow of dreams that would NEVER be realized - but he will NEVER expect or even allow for them to be realized.. I don't know, that scene between Dushyant and Gulaal didn't really scare me or hint towards a Dushyant-Gulaal track to me at all (the only thing it may have done was scare Jamuna-ba some more about her beta and her marriage! 😆)..

Agree. I don't think Dushyant will ever dare to dream, forget make moves on Gulaal again - but it doesn't take away what he feels for her. I'm sure his undercurrents are going to play an important role in the uncovering of Vasant mystery drama - and Kesar wont be the only one with Gulaal - only, Dushyant this time will truly become some kind of shield in between who will pay his long due penance in the form of some collateral damage. His evil ways were evil enough, but his path to redemption is so sad and long... I feel for him sometimes.

Nah - I really don't think she was disappointed. She's just becoming very conscious of her catch-22 position - where she's drawn herself into this mire where she can no longer just blame Kesar and run away. If she blames him, she has to admit to what she's pretending oblivion - and that by itself will be a leap of evolution for Gulaal - so either way, it works for Kesar. As for her guilt when Talli walks in - its on account of failing Talli of course, but its also on account of how sinful she still perceives the idea of having any love angle between Kesar and herself - it's so wrong in her psyche that she has a default reaction of justifying any compromising circumstance that can be suggestive of it.
