Was waiting for your topic 😃Thanks 😊
I think like me, you were also expecting the letters to come out later...right? Correct me if I'm wrong. Yes i was, coz i think you thought it would have a deeper impact later Due to that expectation I was at first taken aback because I wanted Gulaal to read his turmoil at a stage when she was battling her own feelings towards Kesar but in retrospection, the letters kind of laid a base for the future of their love story. Now she knows where all that initial hatred came from, why he was acting the way he was. Kesar has nothing to hide anymore because he is so clear in the head while Gulaal has got so many shocks all at once. Exactly, now she sees in a way that why Kesar has been the way he has, and now his intentions/feelings are clear - and he tells her in the most genuine way even the letters did, but in a way she didnt divluge further into them as well, but atleast she got the idea in a way, as you said she has had so many shocks later, one after the other, and that her ground is shaking while she tries to hold on in a wayThe scene where she barged in to her room sobbing and holding on to Vasant's photo made me feel really bad for her :( Again its up to interpretation but it felt like she had to embrace Vasant's photo to convince herself that she is his. There was a lot of desperation which ofcourse can be defined as a 'I wish you were here' plea. Yes, it was like you are mine, i am yours, and for me when she reached out and hugged it was like, i wish you were here with me, i wouldnt have to see this day or live this life, in the sense her life taken this path if he was alive today, and its only days and times like this she realises and feels so alone, and realises she has been so lonelyThe letter scene was beautifully done and yup I thought of the imli scene too 😳 I had a feeling you would, the way she all the letters flew to the floor and her picking it up, still with somewhat careKesar's attitude was really admirable. He told her to think whatever she wants about her own feelings towards him but she shouldn't insult his emotions as just attachment. Kesar won't force anything upon her and he's just so at peace with himself that he is willing to wait forever for her...or not even expect anything in return except that she just stays with him. He is relieved that he has finally got it and knows now what it has been, and he is so contented, his eyes and his stance just comes across like that - and i think the more Gulaal protest the more Kesar is calm and serene shall i say... as i said he doesnt expect anything from her, and so on - but i do feel Kesar needs a chat in what Gulaal is thinking in the sense of the deeyarvatu - and living as hubby/wifey and this is something she needs settling in her, and get them started on a new level on the right foot, and Kesar to say he doesnt expect anything from her but just carry on how the deeyarvatu has been, they need that starting point
