I like the sentence - Angry Kesar, Dumb Talli and confuse Gulaal - so straight to the point lol
Reemz - can we actually label Gulaal as confused?, i dont know if i would use confuse (or maybe there are many meanings to it that we could use in a way) as the word for Gulaal (i think the confused word is for us regarding Gulaal lol), what did you think of the last two episodes, concerning how Gulaal as been?
I dont see her as totally confused, her plan has always been Talli-Kesar marriage so she will go with that as of now, so in her prayer she asked for that didnt she, and not only that she is and isnt in a way dismissing what Kesar told her, in the sense she knows not that she is dwelling on that Kesar feels nothing for Talli in that way

LOL Lennie, I wasn't sure if confused was the right word for her. If I think about it, then I do want her to be confused about her feelings towards Kesar :P Just something evolving from her side too. I guess I should have said 'we know how stubborn Gulaal is' because she never thinks out of the box. Once she's decided on something, she will do everything to make it happen. She MUST love Vasant, she MUST live as his widow, she CANNOT love anyone else, Talli and Kesar MUST marry.

Is stubborn the right word? I don't know.

well ppl needs entertainment teenage group looks for fun magical passionate jane austen kind of love story where a handsome rich passionate angry mr darcy falls for a middle class good girl and fights the whole world ...a middle aged married woman are too engrossed in their family and household chore that prefer saas bahu saazish type of show it based on their day to day life in a exaggerrated form...gulaal has diiferent taste and different feel its novelistic in approach but then how many ppl in india prefer novel?????

gulaal is unique and beautful show but it isnt entierly falwless...intial concept of the show was so misleading they propoganded that the show is about the gal having magical powers who in the earth is interested in watching a gal bringing water in talsagra...secondly the reason behind deeyarvattu is too lame...gulaal did deeyarvattu to save herself from possible marriage alliance which is not expected from tv protogonist...a common ektaa kapoor or Sp protogonist would have sacrificed herself and married dushy instead of marrying a child ...marriage between child and woman needed a strong reason...sorry but still it is not strong reason...thirdly gulaal and kesar is misinterpreted in the hsow itself like panba and diaba calling gulaal yashoda maiyya of kesar even after marriage ...indian audience either can except gulaal as radha or as maiyya cv should not mess with the feeling indian ppl react very strongly wen the sentiments are hurt and cv itself misleaded it...fourthly the feel of the show is bit dark and gloomy we are seeing all character living under the grievance after vasant all are living dead...their is no happiness there is no sweet talks there is no family drama a lovestroy without romance...every one laments each day u cant expect audience forever sympathizing with the deadth of the person... life is to move on but in the show onone is moving...everyone is standing there and waiting for the miracle to happen ...I think they should rise above that gloomy mood add some spice in the show show a passionate story between gulaal and kesar...add drama where all the family member are against the marriage I m surprised they are not...y panba and motaba not against the marriga kesar is their own son?.they cant give their blessing to start the relation with a 10 year old mature woman who has nuruture him previously add some vamp like talli turning into obseessive lover and creating probs...and see it wil rock the trp...but will lose its essence so let it be like that...if production house does not care for trp and is showing different theme different taste y we should bother?.lets enjoy as quality and quantity doesn't go together

one more point its isnt the irony of indian ppl but the whole world else BBC pride and prejudice and north and south would be more popular than sex and city and baywatch

Is stubborn the right word? I don't know.

There is no words to define her and i have always used strength word for her, coz its what she has and needed to live the way she has and what she lost and what she has had to go through
Stubborn, i dont know if thats the word as well, and i so agree that we probably do want to see Gulaal confused on her feelings for Kesar, now with this KT alliance - if this marriage alliance and fixing of it doesnt evolve anything from her side, any feelings or subtle subconsciously reaction feelings then all i can say its doomed lol
Loving Vasant will always be there, yesterday again you saw how he is embedded in her (which i have always said) but yesterday the way that scene was done where Vasant calls her and she snaps opens her eyes, you saw and felt he is embedded in her and so on, those memories she lives upon at times, and again you see her putting aside her sadness and so on
She does and always has in a way think she will live as Vasant's and only Vasant's widow and so on, and that she can carry on her life how she has been doing and serving this family and keep everyone together, just like Vasant would of. - But really from our understanding in general is that living, or just existing... no one would want that for any person at all, to just exist and not live an life
I am not saying Gulaal isnt contented what she has and what she does, she is in a way
I dont know if its me, but last two episodes, i am not being able to grasp onto Gulaal's feelings in regards of Kesar at the moment (i cant pinpoint it to name it - if you get what i mean), she is closed off i feel in a way and we know she is somewhat troubled, and i can only understand her dilemma as to what has happened when she came back, and her having her breakdown which we saw - that i think she hasnt had in a long time, that she kept crying and so on, and not only that some of her closed offness goes back to what Kesar declared to her 2 weeks back
