@Nneeiill, like Daiba I am an outsider as a viewer. NEVER IN MY POST I HAVE SAID THEY ARE MOTHER AND SON. From what I have stated about Gulaals reactions earlier with Kesar, I understand from my perspective.
Why stating my POV shocked you is surprising. Its an open forum.I too go by what was said in the show. Its the characters speaking. It is my personal understanding of the scenario, and I stand by that. I was not comfortable with the way it was portrayed. Gulaal's paalan poshan comment is by Gulaal herself not anybody else and that is the reason she is still in denial and not running into Kesar's arms when he confessed. I am enjoying her journey towards acceptance too.
I can dismiss it to the script, and as I said, again I am repeating, Kesar and Gulaal's story were meant to be from day one. You want to interpret in the way you want to. I am remaining open by saying I was apprehensive but I don't have problem with the theme either.
But that does not allow you to mention its my ignorance about the show that is speaking. It is not. Neither am I part of the original script nor am I the character in real.So I believe in understanding their relationship through what others portray them as.
I am not denying about the hints they gave too. It was not Manasi's offscreen comment, it was an interview to a magazine.
You have deviated off topic, so this is my last response to this.

If you once more go through what Mansi said it is clear that she said Gulaal is like his mom who take care of him. She didnt say Gulaal considers him as her son and what she said is true at times she acted like a mother towards him but never considered herself to be his mother.(At times even wives performs duties of a mother for their husbands).
they described how Talli was far from her love and then they say kahi dhoor koi aur apne pyaar se dhoor tha. I am so sure they meant the pyaar word for Gulaal and not Talli. Kes-Gul hint was there right from the first promo.

I agree during that time they were showing Kesar writing letters for Gulaal.

If Gulsar was not their plan,
for what they killed Vasanth,
why they showed Deeyarvattu,
why they show Kesar attracted, obsessed, possesive towards Gulaal even before Deeyarvattu,
why their relation remained untagged

They were only rooting for Gulsar. Otherwise these all will become a mere waste and at the end of the way where would Gulaal go?If they have planned in the other way, would Gulaal end up as matyr.
As far as I understood the shows basic deeyarvattu and widows remarraige as it is taken from the novel/film "Ek Chadar Maile Se"(Gulaal Wikipedia) and they have made the serial more interesting and acceptable than the novel/film, by bringing the concept of true love and eternal bonding (also by decreasing their age gap) along with it.
