Chapter 21

Next morning guddan wakes up and sees AJ is not in the bed. She thinks he might be in the washroom but then sees that its early for his office. He then comes with the breakfast.

AJ: uth gayi aap. Chaliye fresh hoke aaye.

Guddan: kya baat hai aaj badi jaldi jaldi?

AJ: ab main aapka personal chef ban gaya hoon to I wanted everything to be perfect. Ab jaldi karo. Then I will be late.

Guddan comes and sits on the bed.

AJ: ye lo coffee

Guddan: aapki kahan hai. Rukiye main laati hun.

AJ: tum piyo i too will have the same.

Guddan: what?

AJ: haan because last time I realised jo coffee tumne pehle pii thi us din that tasted better and winks

Guddan: blushes, kya aap bhi.

AJ: sachiii... Chalo ab jaldi se khao. Phir dawayi leni hai.

They both have breakfast. AJ goes to get ready and guddan gives him his clothes. Now guddan is making him wear the tie.

AJ: guddan please take care of yourself din main. Dawayi time se lena and do not go in her Vicinity. You know main kis ki baat kar raha hoon.

Guddan: akshat plzz humne decide kiya na we will let go off this.

AJ: no you decided I didn't. Tumhare liya aasan hoga but sorry i can never forgive her. The moment I think what could have happened with you I am terrified.

Guddan: (hugs him) shhh relax. Subah subah dont spoil your mood.

AJ: bye. Tk care. And kisses her forehead.

Guddan: bye and She follows him.

AJ: Tum kahan jaa rahi ho

Guddan: (excited) sachii and hugs him and kisses on his cheek. (She bites her tongue) wo excitement main hogaya.

AJ: btw I like this excitement and pulls her cheek.

She starts moving out of the room but he stops her.

Guddan: ab kya hua abhi to aap maan gaye thay.

AJ: haan to maine kab kaha ki nahi jaana hai but khud se nai jaana hai.

Guddan: matlab ky...

Before she could complete AJ scoops her of the floor and carries her down the stairs

Guddan: ye kya aap kar rahe hain. Koi dekh lega and hides her face in his chest.

Aarti: OMG maa main koi sapna to nahi dekh rahi. Zara upar stairs pe nazar daalo.

Maa: hyyy kitne pyaare lag rahe hain dono. Kisi ki nazar na lage.

Aarti: (takes her phone) bhaiya bhabhi and they both look at her and she clicks a picture. Perfect.

Kalyani is fuming with anger seeing all this and says to herself ab bas bahut hogaya is guddan ka tamasha.

AJ: (placing guddan on sofa) aaru dhyan rakhna apni bhabhi ka and make sure ki ye upar naa jaaye. Kal b when she came upstairs she was out of breath. Aur kuch bhi hoga to Mujhe phone krna. Chalo bye I will leave.

Maa: mujhe to lagta hai main chaar dhaam ki yatra pe chali jawan. Ab to mere bachhe sab khush hain. Guddan ki fikar thi lekin ab lalla badal gaya hai to ab wo chinta b khatam hogayi.

Nimi: haan maa ye to aapna sahi kaha. Bhaiya to ab bilkul he badal gaye hain jaise ki koi aur hon.

Aarti: guddan bhabhi aapko b lagta hai ki bhai badal gaye hain.

Guddan: bilkul b nahi. Ye to wahi same Akshat hain bas pehle kuch bolte nahi thay express nai kar pate thay lekin ab he says whatever is in his heart.

Kalyani storms off to her room fuming in anger.

Kalyani: is se pehle ye AJ aur Guddan ki nazdeekiyan kuch zyada he badh jaayen mujhe kuch karna hoga. Warna meri nimi aur uske bacchon ko koi pooche ga b nahi. Kalyani: haan beta aarahi hun.

Angad: waise bhabhi ek baat batao aap, ye bhai itna shaant kaise hogaye aapke masle ko leke.

Guddan: ab angad main to theek thi. So ab koi arguement ya masla kr k kya faayda.

Kalyani is sweating and nimisha notices this.

Aarti: bhai boliye. Haan lunch he kar rahe hain. Bhabhi bhai poocha rahe hain aapka phone kahan hai.

Guddan: wo shayad upar he reh gaya

Aarti: bhai wo upar reh gaya hai room main.

AJ: acha sun aarti tujhe pata haina lunch k baad kaunsi dawayi deni hai.

Aarti: haan bhaiya mujhe sab pata hai.

AJ: theek hai. Ab zara guddan ko phone de.

Aarti: ab matlab bina baat k aadha din b nahi reh paate ho aap and laughs giving the phone to guddan.

Guddan: haan hello.

AJ: feeling better. Dawayi seedhe kha lene koi tantrums nahi.

Guddan: ok. Theek hai. Bye

AJ: bye.

Post lunch guddan sleeps in maa's room. Nimisha goes to kalyani to talk to her.

Nimi: mummy sach sach batao didi k saath jo b hua us main aapka haath to nahi tha.

Kalyani: tera dimaag to theek hai. Maana guddan ko pasand nai karti main lekin utni buri nahi hoon ki uske saath aisa kuch karoon.

Nimi: sorry mummy mera wo matlab nai tha. And she leaves.

After sometime nimi brings juice for guddan and herself.

Aarti: guddan bhabhi aapka phone kabse baj raha hai

Guddan: kaun hai

Aarti: pata nai, koi number hai

Guddan: (receives it) hello

Caller: hello Mrs. Jindal kaisi hain aap. Myself Mrs. Oberoi (Mrs.O)

Guddan: main theek hoon aap Kaisi hain.

Mrs. O: aapne shayad pehchana nahi par hum Mr. Jindal k business partners hain.

Guddan: acha acha. Sab theek hai achanak se phone.

Mrs. O: actually shaam ko hamare yahan ek party hai aur aap dono ko zaroor aana hai. Please mana mat kijiye ga.

Guddan: thats so nice of you. Hum aajayenge. Bye

Mrs. O: bye

Guddan calls AJ.

Guddan: hello

AJ: kya hua sab theek hai achanak kaise call kiya

Guddan: mujhe bolne denge. Wo Mrs. Oberoi ka phone aaya tha. Unke yahan shaam ko koi party hai aur hum dono ko invite kiya hai.

AJ: tumne mana kar diya na.

Guddan: kyun krti main mana. Itne pyaar se bulaya hai. Maine keh diya hum aa jayenge.

AJ: par tumhari tabyat. You r not better yet.

Guddan: akshat main ab bahut better hoon aur dawayi B to le rahi hoon na main. Ab kya main hamesha ghar pe he rahunga.

AJ: jisko jo marzi hai karo. Meri to kisi ko sunni he nai hai. Main hota he kaun hoon and puts the phone down.

Mr. Oberoi calls AJ.

Mr. O: jindal sb aapko invitation to mil he ga ya hoga. I will be waiting please do come.

Without hearing AJ's reply he puts the phone down. AJ thinks shayad kuch zyada he daant diya maine guddan ko. Ab ghar jaake he manana padega. He calls his assistant.

AJ: koi documents Pending to nai hai jispe mera sign chahiye.

Assistant: nai sir aaj k sab documents hogaye hain.

AJ: theek hai phir main nikal raha hoon.

He arrives home and goes straight to his room and then comes back to look for guddan. He spots her in the kitchen alone. He holds her hand and takes her along to the room.

Guddan: kya kar rahe hain aap.

AJ: I am sorry. Maine kuch zyada he daant liya tha phone pe. You know I don't like it jab tum takleef main hoti ho. But i understand tum kaafi time se baahar B nai gayi ho kahin. So i am sorry.

Guddan: it's ok itna bolne ki zaroorat nai hai. I understand your point of view as well. Wts this on the bed.

AJ: ab pehli baar tum mere saath kisi party main aarahi ho to socha tumhare liye kuch achi si saree le loon party k liye.

Guddan: really.

AJ: yes. Now get ready. Main fresh hoke aata hoon.

Guddan: she takes out the saree and she likes it. (The same one that she wore in the show for mask party).

She first puts his clothes on the bed and the gets ready herself. She struggles with the blouse so she calls aarti.

Guddan: hello aaru zara upar room main aaja lekin jaldi.

Aarti: kya hua bhabhi. Wow. This is so pretty. Kahan se laayi aapne. Maine to kabhi nai dekhi pehle.

Guddan: tere bhaiya abhi laaye hain. Party main pehne k liye.

Aarti: achaaa. Mujhe kyun bulaya.

Guddan: zara please ye blouse bandh de. Mujse ho he nai raha hai.

Aarti: to bhai ko bolna tha na with a wink.

Guddan: wo fresh horahe hain and it's already late.

Aarti: acha theek hai. Turn around.

Just the AJ comes out of the washroom in a trouser and vest. He looks at guddan and is rooted to his spot. Aarti hears the door opening.

Aarti: chalo ab bhaiya aagaye hain wahi kr denge. Mujhe waise bhi nimi bhabhi k saath kuch kaam tha. And runs out of the room.

Guddan: aaru sun to but she's gone.

When guddan shouts for aarti AJ comes back to his senses and heads to bolt the door. Guddan has her back towards the cupboard.

AJ: (putting the towel on bed) may I. If only you are comfortable.

Guddan nods and AJ turns her around. He puts her hair to one side but his hands are trembling and she has her eyes closed. Water is dripping from his wet hair and as he moves closer to her one water droplet falls on her back and she stiffens. He with a trembling thumb wipes that droplet and she shivers under his touch. He looks at her through the mirror. In the mean time he has tied one knot. He starts to tie the second knot and water is continuously dripping from his hair on to her back and she is shivering under his touch. Unable to control, Akshat while tying the second knot bends forward and kisses her clean of all the water droplets and in the meantime he is done with all the 4 knots. Guddan puts her head back on his chest while he proceeds further to kiss her neck. Akshat turns her around and pushes her hair backwards and kisses
her on the other side of neck.

Aarti: (knocking on the door) bhaiya aapka phone kabse baj raha hai neeche. Darwaza to kholiye.

Guddan: (holds his shoulder) Akshat darwaze pe aarti hai.

AJ: (ruffling his hair goes to open the door) kya hua kyun shor machaya hai itna.

Aarti: aap abhi tak tayar nahi hue. Party main nai jaana. Oops kahin Maine aapko disturb to nai kiya.

Guddan blushes.

AJ: badmash kahin ki jaa yahan se and bolts the door.

AJ stands behind guddan.

AJ: bahut khoobsurat lag rahi ho.

Guddan turns towards him and hugs him tight.

He gets ready now while guddan is tying her hair in a bun.

AJ: chalein. Are you done.

Guddan: chaliye and he holds her hand.

They reach the party and all of AJ' s business partners are present and they congratulate him for his wedding. On the other hand Mrs. O introduces guddan to other ladies in the party. Though AJ is talking to people his eyes never leave guddan.

AJ goes to the counter to have a drink. Adjacent to him two boys are talking.

Boy 1: yaar look at that girl she is so hot.

Boy 2: which one

Boy 1: Arre wo jo blue saree main khadi hai.

AJ is alerted he looks in their direction and sees they are looking at guddan.

Boy 2: look at her figure she is so adorable. Look at her back man.

Boy 1: she is driving me crazy. Main to abhi isse dance k liye bol raha hun. I can imagine my hands on her waist.

That was it AJ stood up but he didn't want to spoil the party so he headed to guddan.

AJ: Mrs. Oberoi can I take my wife for sometime.

Mrs. O: sure she is all yours and winks at him.

Guddan: kya hua?

AJ puts his hand on her waist and with the other hand opens her hair which falls on her back covering it completely.

Guddan: ye Kya kiya aapne. Itni mehnat se banaya tha maine.

AJ: aise zyada achi lag rahi ho.

Guddan: ( notices that the 2 boys are staring her) thinks agar Akshat ko bata diya to inki jaan le lenge ye.

AJ: Kya hua you seem uncomfortable.

Guddan: nai to I am fine. I will just come.

AJ: guddan 10 minute se gayi hui hai. Abhi tak nahi aayi. He heads to find the washroom.

Guddan: aap yahan Kya kar rahe hain.

AJ: itni der se wait kar raha tha main darr gaya tha. And hugs her tight. I think we should leave now raat bahut hogayi hai.

Guddan: g theek hai. Ek minute Mr. And Mrs. Oberoi ko bata dete hain.

AJ: chalo.

In the car

AJ: ek baat batao why were u so uncomfortable in the party

Guddan: nai to(ab agar nahi bola akshat ko to gussa karenge)

AJ: Kya hua kisi ne kuch kha kya tumse party main

Guddan: nai wo actually kuch ladke thay there were staring so isi liye.

AJ: tumne bataya kyun nahi.

Guddan: I didn't want the party and your mood to be spoiled. Ab please is baat pe gussa nai hona mujhse.

They reach home. All are sleeping. They too go to their room and sleep.
