About AJ questioning her position & breaking her MS, in real life MS breaking can happen anytime nothing extra in that as after all its made of beads & thread. Maybe AJ breaking it was added for drama.

Imagine opening up your precious emotions to someone after years only to realize that those hold nothing of much importance to that someone & she was only scanning for proofs against him.

He is hurt & she knows it. He is trying his best to avoid getting close to her again for the same reason & she understands it & thus wants his trust back on her.

If his words hurt her its cause, her act hurted him before & deep down she knows how much he cares & respects her.

& here it isn't that she is trying to be all wifely, i.e. cooking for him, trying to feed him, taking off his shoes & he is pushing her away.

She took a decision for the whole house & he asked with what regards she took it ?

So she stated, being saas & bahu of the house & his wife.

Fact is she is a saas & bahu cause she is his wife, that makes her equal of him in the household & noting can change that as both law & vedas gives her the rights for that.

She just stated a fact.

What's wrong is stating something that is hers as hers ?

About him giving respect to her as wife, those are just his hollow words which she very well knows are hollow as his action shows the opposite.

Those actions of his gives her the confidence to referrer herself as his "dharam-patni.

today even he didn't argue on that even once after Guddu said the MS line nor did he flinch at that, proves he respects her as his wife.
