About him giving respect to her as wife, those are just his hollow words which she very well knows are hollow as his action shows the opposite.

Those actions of his gives her the confidence to referrer herself as his "dharam-patni.

today even he didn't argue on that even once after Guddu said the MS line nor did he flinch at that, proves he respects her as his wife.

But honestly, I'm a firm believer that as much as your actions create the magic, words have equal importance too. Which is why expressing your love verbally is as important as showing affection. One is incomplete without another. Which is also applicable to to anger.

Its his personality, he doesn't speak much but expresses through actions & Guddu understands those.

She would feel a little hurt each time. Little by little is enough to break anyone down.

I feel better knowing that this is a fiction. I cannot see someone being treated so rudely, without given a chance to explain their side if the story.
