Part 6 - You're delusional!

"So have you decided Mr. Jindal?! GK blurted out the first thing as she came face to face with Akshat.

"Yes, but I don't think you'll be able to fulfil it.. Akshat trailed, undertone of uncertainty in his voice.

"Ask away Mr. Jindal! GK doesn't break promises! GK assured as the right corner of her lip curved upward in a smirk.

"You'll have to stay in Jindal bhawan for the next 7 days in exchange for the divorce, Akshat announced with a straight face. Before he could open his mouth further, he was interrupted.

Rewa's eyes widened at her jiju's audacity while Jayce gritted his teeth and took a step forward, "You are taking undue advantage of her generosity!

"Is that so! Akshat asked as his eyes darted to GK who had her gaze fixed on him. She was trying to assess his motives.

"I already told you that she will most probably find my demand beyond her bounds, nonetheless if it's too troublesome for you then I'll just take my words bac..

"No need Mr. Jindal, GK cut off Akshat and took a step forward.

Raising a confused brow at her response, he waited with his fingers crossed in his pockets.

"I agree to your demand Mr. Jindal, this isn't beyond my boun..

"..And I am not yet finished with voicing out my full demand! Akshat interrupted her as GK stopped, puzzled.

"I want you to stay for the next 7 days in Jindal Bhawan as my wife, as my mother's daughter-in-law, as my bahus saas; as Mrs Guddan Akshat Jindal!

"This is outright blasphemous! This man is trying to scam you, My lady! Jayce shouted enraged as he raised his gun at Akshat.

But the only emotion swimming in Akshat's eyes was amusement.

"Put the gun away Jayce GK asked.

"But, My lady...

"DON'T MAKE ME REPEAT MYSELF!GK warned as Jayce pulled back all the while clenching his fists.

"What are you trying to pull Mr. Jindal! You aren't that simple after all, GK chuckled as she stood face to face with Akshat.

"By any chance, are you harbouring any false hopes of my false memories returning? Are you deluding yourself into believing that you can trigger my insignificant memories by keeping me in this house? You possibly don't think that you have a chance, do you?! GK whispered the last words against Akshat's ears in a sultry manner as Akshat found his chest clenching.

Chuckling as GK moved back two steps while clicking her heels, her eyes sparkled. "You aren't that boring after all, Mr. Husband! You are optimistic?! Then go ahead and give it a shot! Two can play the game, I agree to your demands... GK replied as Akshat barely suppressed his happiness.

"Rewa, cancel all my meetings and reschedule my flight, I'm going to enjoy myself with.. As GK spoke, she moved closer to Akshat yet again, "...my dear HUBBY!

Akshat gulped as her hot breath lingered against his ears.

"You're a troublesome one, aren't you?! I liked it Akshat's eyes widened as her words seduced his senses into submission. "I'd like to see you try and FAIL! But don't worry, you won't regret it because I'll make it worthwhile! GK whispered seductively in a meaningful tone against his ears and then stole the leaving daylights out of him and everyone else present in the room as her right palm cupped his jawline and she placed a peck against his cheek. Her lips lingered and his heart stopped.

As she moved away with a mischievous glint lit in her eyes, Akshat stared at her wide eyed, gobsmacked, star struck and everything.

His heart! Shit! His heart was going to explode any moment now. And the place where her hands and lips had lingered were on fire. Shit! He was so screwed! What was she insinuating?! God, if this continued he will end up dead before her memories come back!

As GK stepped past him and onto the stairs leading to his room, Akshat stood rooted to his spot.

"Do your level best, hubby! Wifey's rooting for ya! GK announced as she continued to ascend the stairs.

Suddenly as she remembered something, she stopped and turned around. "Oh! I forgot to tell you hubby! She trailed in a mocking forgetful tone as he turned around to face her. "That lipstick is quite sturdy. Lasts long and stays strong! I hope India imports their removers! GK winked as she signaled Akshat by tapping her forefinger against her cheek.

On an impulse, his hands flew to cover that cheek marked with insignia of her lips while she walked off chuckling, and disappeared into the room.

He was seriously and utterly screwed!

While everyone dispersed, Akshat continued to stare into empty space and Rewa continued to stare at his troubled form, amused. She had never seen him so flustered!

"Snap out of it jiju! You have to win her! Don't end up losing yourself! Rewa murmured in consolation as she stepped past him onto the stairs.

"You like it? A voice asked from behind as GK turned around from the photos she was admiring, to come face to face with Akshat.

"Well, you didn't strike me as the colorful types! But your cheek and this room is a proof enough! GK chuckled humorously as she pointed to his lipstick stained cheek and then towards the colorful blue and fuchsia walls, the vibrant bed sheets and curtains and the teddy bears.

Flustered, Akshat covered his cheek that the darn lipstick wasn't letting go off.

"Y-you...Don't you like it, the room? Akshat stammered, his heart sinking. Guddan used to like bright and cheerful colors. She always used to mess up this room. And she was so fond of teddy bears that she would bring a new one every other week!

"Hmm...not really! You see I find black and white way more classy and sophisticated and rather than having these fur balls occupy space, I'd prefer to gaze at art work, oil paintings and such but it's only for a week, I'll manage! GK responded and moved towards the balcony.

"This seems like a nice place to relax.. GK mused as she plopped into the jhula, the jhula where Guddan used to sleep.

"And you say, your memories are gone! Akshat remarked as he leaned against the doorframe, admiring her.

"And what's that supposed to mean? GK quipped back questioningly.

"This is the place where you used to spend most of your time. It was your favourite and still is

"Hardly, Mr. Jindal! Your room is just way too small that it was almost getting suffocating inside! GK cleared as she got off the jhula and moving into the room pushed open the door towards the pool.

"You say you don't recall and yet you move about as if you own this place! He asked as GK stopped in her way towards the pool and he approached her. "I never told you the direction to this room but you found your way yourself and now you are navigating towards the pool as if you've known it since forever! I wonder what you call that? He asked standing right behind her.

"You are trying too hard already! GK pointed and turned around to face him.

"I am observant Mr. Jind...Hubby! And I've seen you step out of that very room twice, once was about 35 minutes back only! And since your demand requires me to act as your wife, it's only natural that I'll share your room and that's why I entered your' room. And regarding this pool side way, wasn't this the only other door standing in your room apart from the balcony and main door!?C'mon Hubby! Its plain obvious, why must you try to read deeply into things of zero significance? It's such a waste of precious time and peace of mind!

And turning away from him, she continued with her stride towards the pool.

His heart was already breaking. Her words had pierced deep! So easily she had shunned away her existence as Guddan!

As GK dipped her legs in the pool, she stared at his reflection in the water. "Must you really waste your hopes by investing them in me? She asked and turned her neck around to face him. He looked at her baffled as she continued, "I mean shouldn't you enjoy your freedom from that unwanted shaadi. I know you didn't love Guddan; she was just burdening you with her childish feelings of attraction. Then why are you doing this?! I am saying this because you and your family seem to be nice people. Why are you deluding yourself into believing that you were in love with her? I mean...

"Shut up!

Akshat shouted as GK looked at him confused, "Look Mr Jindal! I didn't intend to hurt your feelings or someth...

"Shut up! What do you know?! Talking like that!? He shouted chattering his teeth.

"I am so... GK got up and tried to apologize but to no avail.

"It was not just some attraction! Guddan loved me with all her heart, she professed it every damn day! She loved me! You... poking his forefinger against her chest he stared into her unwavering eyes, "You...Love me!

"Is it so?! What about you? You didn't love her! You don't love me, do you know? She asked back swatting his finger away.

"I-I do l-lov...

"Oh! Cut it out with this crap! GK waved him off and continued, "It's not love! Its guilt, Mr. Jindal! You are just feeling guilty that you behaved like ass with the girl who loved you and now she's gone and you've no means of apologising to her, telling her that you are sorry for being an arse. You're just guilty. Your guilt is making it impossible for you to stare at your own reflection! You're just guilty coz you're the reason she's gone! Your love for your dead wife is the reason why the girl that loved you almost lost her life and ended up losing her identity. And that's the damn reason why you are trying so hard to fool yourself into believing that you are in love but you are not! GK explained as she poked her forefinger against his chest.

"Don't m-manipulate me! l-love you! I love you damn it! He shouted back.

Chuckling GK pulled back and shook her head in disbelief. "All Men are pig heads! Their ego is bigger than their brains! You just can't accept that you're wrong, no?! You love me?! Yeah, you love me and that's the reason why there's not a single photo of me or us anywhere in our' supposed room?

"That..

"You love me just right enough to color the room bright according to Guddan's preferences but you possibly couldn't create mine and yours photos because they don't really exist, do they!?

"That is...I-I..

"And you say you love me! I believe you just as much as you love me! GK remarked and marched past him while he stood rooted to his spot, aghast.

Everything was on the line. She didn't believe him. Things were going to get nasty.

so there were not any big revelations that you all were waiting for but I did give you an Akshanlicious episode, didn't I?!😉 I think that is enough of a reason in itself to appease to your hearts!😆

And you all saw GK'S new side. She's blunt and lethal. She's brutal. We know it. But yikes, she is a tease! A seductive one at that😉 And she doesn't mince her words either😛
