The only show which did a comeback after going dull by following an age old ITV tropes was Jamaai Raja where they killed the lead Sid and made him return as his doppelganger and it increased TRP and made the show come in top 5. But Ghum to alag hi alien prani hai. It can't even execute entertaining cringe.

I honestly think they are not thinking of a comeback. The decision is made. They are waiting for IPL to end.

Bhavika was popular so she has probably been brought to recover some losses incurred. It is a through and through financial decision.

Yup. I just hope they don't dial family kalesh metre up more. Even if Bhavika comes, I hope they focus on leads like Ekta used to do in her peak era shows. Family dynamics played a major role but they never overpowered leads. I hope we get interesting couple dynamics like Savi and Rajat this season also.

Haseen Dilruba:

The male lead, Rishu discovers his wife is having an affair with his cousin after their marriage. She meets his cousin after their marriage and the affair begins. That's why Rishu becomes extremely angry. That's totally different from this situation. Also, I don't think Rishu shows shades of darkness after knowing about the affair. He only becomes furious with his wife. Darkness is different from showing anger. Darkness is what Joe Goldberg does in the series, You. That's called real darkness. Here, Tejaswini isn't having affair with Ruturaj after her marriage. So, why should Neil become angry with her? She isn't doing anything wrong in the show. Btw, will you continue watching the show after Tejaswini's death, Pavitra?

@Bold: No, actually. I can't see Neil with any other girl than Tejaswini. I loved them together and they were better characters than what everyone is making them out to be, in my opinion. Although, I respect others' perspectives on them too. I think I have analysed their relationship so much that it almost feels as if they are poetic and star-crossed lovers. smiley36

Ghum ph probably regrets taking that third-gen leap. It was Total disaster for them. They cut all ties with the Ogs, made the worst casting call, completely messed up in choosing story. Ghum ph should take notes from Shahi. The man’s been running rishta for 15+ years. Sure, it’s not at its peak anymore, but the audience hasn’t outright rejected it either. Nd he never severed the Akshara legacy from Gen 1 and always picked his Fls wisely. There’s a reason Rishta still holds some weight, while Ghum is struggling to stay relevant in gen 3.🥱

I also don't want to see Neil with any other girl. I won't continue watching the show after Tejaswini's death. I'm going back to the shows and movies on Netflix. Right now I'm watching the first episode of popular British series, Adolescence.

Adolescence! I also watched it recently. Absolute banger. Go for it. It's so chilling and real. Delves into the psychology of today's society and the gender fault lines that are getting deeper. Shirsha, I have coincidentally also written about this series briefly in the discussion post on the forum about toxic storylines and MLs today. I tagged you there. Do read it :) And yes, it's a long post smiley36
