Episode 26: ISHVI Talks About Their Childhood

Ishaan watched eagerly as Savi carefully unfolded the dupatta, her fingers tracing the intricate patterns with a sense of wonder. Savi's eyes lit up with delight as she held the dupatta against herself, the rich fabric draping elegantly over her shoulders. She twirled around playfully, the dupatta billowing around her like a graceful dancer's veil.

Ishaan couldn't tear his eyes away from her, captivated by the way she brought the dupatta to life with her infectious energy. He felt a swell of pride knowing that he had chosen something that brought her so much joy.

Savi's eyes met his, a radiant smile lighting up her face as she said, "It's beautiful, Ishaan Sir. Thank you."

Ishaan smiled back, feeling a warmth spread through him at her genuine appreciation. "I'm glad you like it," he replied.

Time was passing quickly. They both came and sat on opposite corners of the bed, leaving a considerable gap between them as they lay down. Despite the distance, the closeness between them made it difficult to sleep. She glanced at him and caught him stealing glances at her beauty. He quickly averted his gaze. After a few minutes, he turned to her and met her eyes.

To break the ice, Savi starts, “When we change our bed, it's not easy to fall asleep quickly. It's comfortable enough, but somehow…”

Ishaan also tries to act normal and agrees, “Hmm, you know what Savi, I used to sleep here when I was just 5. If at midnight, I woke up and shouted for Aai, she used to run to me and caress my head until I fell asleep again.”

Savi also reminisces about her childhood and says, “I and Aai used to stay in a small town, so I never had a separate bedroom, but I always slept in her cuddles. She used to sing sweet lullabies for me.”

Ishaan nods, a fond smile tugging at his lips. "It's amazing how those little moments from our childhood stay with us forever, isn't it?"

Savi's eyes light up with nostalgia. "Absolutely. They're like little treasures that we carry with us throughout our lives."

Ishaan's expression softens as he continues, "I remember how my Aai used to tell me stories before bed. It was the highlight of my day."

Savi nods, a reminiscent smile spreading across her face. "I can relate. My Aai had this special way of making even the simplest moments feel magical."

As they share more memories of their childhood, they find comfort and connection in the familiarity of each other's stories and fall asleep.

The next morning, they left the house via cab and arrived at the Bhosle Mansion. Furious, Surekha was waiting at the door. She shouted at Ishaan, “Where were you the whole night with this girl? Did you stop responding to our calls and messages too? This girl has cast a spell on you.”

Before Ishaan could say anything, Savi retorted, “Ishaan Sir wasn't with any random girl. I am his legally wedded wife. And we weren't out roaming the city, risking our reputations. We were at OUR home with my in-laws.”

Surekha was shocked to the core and stood as still as a statue. Her worst nightmare seemed to be coming true—losing Ishaan to Isha via Savi.

Episode 25: An Awkward Night for Ishaan & Savi

The family of four enjoyed a wholesome dinner together. Ishaan signaled to Savi that it was time to leave. Savi stepped forward and touched the feet of Shantanu and Isha, saying, “Baba, Aai, we have to leave now.”

Hearing Baba and Aai's words echoed in Savi's voice was music to the ears of all three. Isha hugged her and pleaded with her to visit more often, reminding her to stay with them during her exam preparations and exams, as there were only a few weeks left.

Savi nodded in agreement, grabbed her bag, and stepped out with Ishaan. Shantanu accompanied them to the parking area to see them off. Isha's eyes were fixed on her dear son, Ishaan, who had made her a proud mother-in-law by marrying her favorite girl.

Ishaan noticed that both front tires were punctured, feeling frustrated as it was 11 PM with no chance of finding a mechanic in that area at that time. He could have managed if it were only one tire, using the spare wheel.

Despite checking for cabs, drivers were constantly canceling the rides. Shantanu intervened, "Where will you go now? It's night, and there are no autos in this area. Come inside, rest, and tomorrow morning we'll find a mechanic to fix it. Both of you can leave early by cab. I'll take care of the car and make sure it reaches your college by the time you arrive."

Ishaan looked at Savi, expecting her to object. Savi looked back at Isha, her eyes longing for them to stay. Understanding her silent plea, she said, “Sir, I think Baba is right. We're not superheroes who can walk home, and we won't find any transportation at this time. Plus, I can't sleep in car seats. I'll go inside. You decide what you want to do. Good night," and walked toward the entrance.

With a frustrated expression, Ishaan followed behind Savi. Both Isha and Shantanu chuckled to themselves, feeling extremely happy that their daughter-in-law would have a proper grah pravesh by spending the night with them.

Ishaan caught up to Savi and grabbed her arm, "What is this? Do you think I would be happy sleeping in the car? I am Ishaan Bhosle, who has always slept on a Dunlop mattress."

Savi playfully nudged Ishaan with her elbow. "Well, well, Mr. Dunlop Mattress, looks like you'll have to make do with a regular bed tonight."

Ishaan smirked. "Right, because nothing says adventure like a punctured tire and a night at your in-laws'," he replied, earning a playful eye-roll from Savi.

Meanwhile, ISHANU comes who were silently enjoying their banters.

Ishaan walks off to the room where in his childhood he used to sleep. He enters and feels a warmth, everything is as it is but replaced with modern furniture, Savi comes and stands beside him.

She rolls her eyes, "Sir the room is good but from where we will get a bunch of extra pillows to create a wall."

Ishaan makes a face, "Do you expect me to go and ask for this, and what should I reply if they ask the purpose?

Don't do naatak, let's sleep, we have to wake up early as well."

Shantanu knocks on the door, both turn to look at him.

He smiles and asks if everything is alright. He shows a cupboard where some clothes are there which they can use as night wears and hands over his bag to him, in case he needs a laptop or charger.

Ishaan becomes happy as if he remembered something, says Thank you and asks Shantanu to leave as he feels sleepy.

After he leaves, Savi asks, “What was that? From which corner of your eye, do you look sleepy?

"You only know how to ask questions. Go freshen up; I'll go after you," Ishaan retorted.

Savi retrieved a long kurta, likely belonging to Ishaan's mother, from the cupboard and went to the washroom. Meanwhile, Ishaan closed the door, arranged the pillow for a headrest, and relaxed on his bed. He then retrieved a small package from his bag, wrapped in golden paper and pink ribbons.

As Savi emerged from the washroom and began combing her hair, Ishaan approached her from behind. Confused, Savi glanced at him, but Ishaan motioned for her not to worry.

Focused on her hair, Savi didn't respond, prompting Ishaan to tease her, "You're so boring, Savi. I'm waiting for you to ask why I'm here."

Still silent, Savi turned back to face him, teasingly stating, "Sir, this is a mirror. If I can see you, I can surely see the hidden packet in your hand."

Caught, Ishaan confessed, "While in Delhi, I had a few hours to spare at the airport, so I thought I'd do some shopping for you. I don't know your preferences or size."

"Size? Did you buy shoes for me?" Savi quipped innocently.

Ishaan laughed at her innocence. "No, you're silly. Let me finish." "Fine, you open it yourself," Ishan handed her over the packet.

Savi accepts it and sees it from all four sides, noticing there is no label on the card, she understands his discomfort.

Upon opening the box, she found a beautiful designer red dupatta. Her eyes conveyed her appreciation and love for the thoughtful gift.

Episode 27: Entangled Hearts of ISHVI

Ishaan apologizes for Savi’s behavior and hugs Surekha, reassuring her that she doesn't need to feel insecure. He helds her hands and says, “Like how we have many relations in life like chacha, mama, masi, cousings and still we give a due justice to all, similarly I will never steps back from either of my motherly relationship.”

Surekha forces a smile, but her heart still aches because her possessiveness doesn't even want to share Ishaan with his biological mom.

Ishaan and Savi go to college via cab and feel relieved to see his car in the parking lot.

They both get busy with their respective classes, assemblies, library work, and similar activities.

Shantanu comes to his cabin and meets him. Ishaan looked fresh and happy from father’s eyes.

He asks him, “Ishaan, hope all is well at home and new entangled life. The change must be difficult but I am proud of you and Savi coping with them. Beta, life is never easy and always gives surprises at each step. It’s up to us how we choose to respond.”

Ishaan looks at him and for the first time gets a perspective of a married men.

Shantanu reminds him that this is the best time to plan a excursion camp since three weeks later viva and all will start.

Ishaan thanks him, shows his laptop and says,” Yes Baba, I am already on it”

__________________________

After finishing her classes, Savi goes to the library to gather past exam papers and additional reference materials.

Her friends join her; Kajal and Navya attempt to tease her, saying, “Savi, why do you even need to study these books? Your life is set. You're already the wife of Director Ishaan Bhosle.”

Savi becomes annoyed and responds, “He is my husband, but don't I have my own identity too? My marital status may have changed, but my career goals haven't. I am still the same Savi who is on her way to becoming an IAS officer.” She looks up proudly and smiles.

Shaswat said, “Savi how will you manage your studies at home now onwards? You have a big fat family, won't you be busy with them?”

Savi thinks of Ishaamam’s proposal of staying there, “I have something planned, will see and let you know”

Preeti says, “We will also have an excursion camp this month, anytime soon. You might be needed in the excursion management as well.”

Before Savi responds to her, Shuklaji comes and interferes them, “Chauhan, Savi Madam, Ishaan Sir is calling you in his cabin.”

As she stands up to move, her friends cheer and playfully tease her,

Navya calls out the exaggerated phrase, "Off to see the boss!"

Shaswat pats Navya and says, "Better not keep the hubby waiting!"

While exchanging knowing glances and chuckles, Savi quickly grabs her bag on the way out.

__________________________

Savi knocked the half-open door of Ishaan’s cabin, he gave her a quick glance and signaled her to come in and sit on the chair next to him.

She comes, puts her bag on his table, pulls the chair and sits on it.

Ishaan moves his laptop so that she can see the screen and starts explaining, “Every year, in April month, we arrange an excursion for final year’s students. This year we are planning to do it next week itself, and if possible sooner than that.”

Check the slides, I have jotted down ideas, places, project goals and learning outcomes. I need an expert opinion of our Cultural Committee Head on it.

Savi's eyes spark with excitement as she pulls her chair a little closer to his, her fingers tingling with anticipation as she eagerly starts to browse through the presentation. As they dive into discussions, their expressions become animated, their faces lighting up with enthusiasm as they use hand gestures to emphasize their points.

Where they had drowned in the flow of discussions with hand gestures, all of a sudden Savi’s bangle gets entangled with Ishaan’s rudraksh bracelet.

They exchanged amused glances, both trying to separate the entwined jewelry carefully to avoid breakage.

However, Savi had a pen in her hand with which she was trying to open the clasp of her bracelet, which in the process was making some random drawing on his hands.

Unbeknownst to her, the pen leaves a trail of random doodles on Ishaan’s hand, causing him to suppress a chuckle at the unexpected ticklish sensation.

Due to the tickling sensation, Ishaan starts moving around, which makes Savi angry. “Sir, please sit quietly and don't move. I am trying hard to see the hole with the pen.”

Ishaan jerks a bit. “Your pen is dancing on my wrist in the form of tickling, I cant control further.”

This was again a double-meaning dialogue for both of them, which made them quiet and look away from each other.

At last, Savi succeeds in opening the clasp and untangling the bracelets. But as they both look at his wrist, their eyes widen. The zigzag doodle art has turned out to be a heart shape.

Yes, Savi’s heart on Ishaan’s wrist!

Savi feels extremely shy when she looks into his eyes, he loves her shyness and wishes to tease her a bit. He takes the pen from her hand and try to make some random doodle on the heart drawn by her looking into her eyes, she looks down and sees he has drawn an arrow crossing over the heart.

The pin-drop silence in the cabin was echoing racing and entangled hearts of IshVI
