It was always supposed to be a SaiRat story... with P as an established third angle.

Moreover post leap they did try to enforce the narrative that P has changed. (Even Sai gave that certificate to her )

That's why the story is kind of reset after leap.

Pre leap actions do not matter, though pre leap is what has transpired into post leap.

So surrogacy is ignored royally and adoption is in place!!!!

That's an altruistic action right.. so P is positive... V and CN in debt and Sai is a forever love of V but one which he has lost. Justifying the title.

Satya was only brought in to keep P relevant as V's wife... it was not meant to be an endgame ... or they would have given him a proper story backing and Sai wouldn't have taken this rash decision rather would have genuinely moved on. (I was saying all this in April... was bashed ... but guess what??? I see the same conversations happening now).

The reason it failed might be partly due to how Sai has been built...

Sai is someone who doesn't do things halfway... and she has a strong moral and ethical background.

Sai getting married to a man who she won't love, or be able fulfill all marital duties and keep pining for another man and still keep the pretence of a happy married life is not the Sai we have seen.

The kind of accomodative behaviour she shows in LW is what BK wanted her to do in the initial days.... but Sai went on guns blazing. Yahi tab karti to???? Itna bawal hi nahi hota... na Ghum ka famous tashan hota.

I know this particular aspect will be tagged as grooming by V and how CN has turned Sai into a meek character ... which is fine... I agree.... but then the Sai we see now ... that's not Sai... and that's not her spirit!!!!!!😭

Sai who is learned and has a sense of right and wrong should have tried for different approaches when V was bothering her.

A simple solution was to ask V to convince Vinu.. and then pursue her... since it was V who should have taken that step.

I still feel Satya would have stayed longer and positive if Aish had not exited so quickly. His flip is jarring... right from the episode which was supposed to be P's exit episode. It can't be coincidence

Anyway.. point being .. for makers.... P is not a criminal (until this financial fraud thing)... so V acknowledging her crimes doesn't even feature in their list... jab sab grey hi hai to justification kis baat ka? All are victims of circumstance as per Ghum land laws.

As for Vijumba .. it was obvious he was brought in to show V in good light!!!!! So was Satya!!!!

800+ episodes ke baad ML change nahi hoga...

Yahi karna tha to pehle hi aa jaata.

All the other examples of second leads had them firmly established in the story very early. Or had a proper buildup. Ghum is not like that

my previous comments about Satya were taken as hate. It was never about that.... but seeing the story in a neutral perspective... as per the channel, Sai V are protagonists and P as antagonist... all others are just side characters... till channel treats Satya as lead... it was not meant to be.... his story would have led to SaiRat reunion eventually. One way or another. Whether they choose him to be a better person than P and let Sai go or make him fall further it's upto them.

Khud ko lead bolne se lead nahi ban jaata koi.... we have previous experience on this.

Montage se bhi hataya nahi hai P ko abhi tak... na tags se... that's her relevance in the story whether people agree or not. And it's all because P had a proper backing as a third angle. And this is exactly what failed Satya. 😕
