Dadisa had great progressive characterisation in the show the way she literally tortured Anandi n gehna in their teenage But She Was the one thoroughly supported them n wanted them to give another chance in their life n helped them to get remarried. They beautifully showed n developed Anandi's agreement for marriage n dealt her trauma smoothly.

Here ghum makers literally hinted many things that will punish the pakhi character Like her signing company contract without studying n karishma's affair affecting BK politics n Vinu hating pakhi virat n etc etc but nothing happened they got scot-free even hinted happy family for Savi which never happened

All those were for viewrs to stay hooked thinking she will get her due - while they whitewash her. They wanted to establish her a victim and they did it, they had to make her fall low to retain interest and instead of properly weaving it into story, they ignored it.

Shallow creativity and like I always say- they kept actor’s interests above story. No doubt.

What is that expression called

The site, and this forum in particular, is a time-sinker for me. I follow the conversations here and not the show. So, talking here without watching any clip post Satya's entry (nothing against the actor or his character, long-running shows with no end sign do not interest me, and the entry of Satya indicated another long track to delay the inevitable). I stopped watching Ghum very much after the alta episode and only resumed post-leap. The initial episodes after the leap had something to talk about (both writing and direction were good) -- there were multiple tracks to explore and tap into. But then the writers held on to only one track -- the triangle. The kids who were a major attraction initially had no role to play. Sai+Savi versus Kaku and co would have made great watching. One cannot blame writers because that was giving them TRPs.

Romance is a side-dish in ITV shows. The main course is the drama that the antagonist brings. With Kaku turning positive and Patralekha continuing to be presented as bechari woman, the show became deprived of the drama creator. And Indian television shows cannot run without that. How long could they have milked the triangle -- founded on Virat's indecisiveness?

One of the reasons why the show worked was Sai versus Kaku's tashan. When kaku turned positive, someone else had to go evil. I think that didn't happen.

What happens with long-running shows is that writers keep changing and often the new set of writers try to bring their own flavor to the show, not paying attention to the original flavor. The original Sai would have done anything to bring her son under her fold. The female protagonist had to win.

A top show going for a 20-year leap in less than three years reflects badly on its creatives and producers. [The show's writing and execution were great only in patches].

There are several options .But according to our previous conversation ,I prefer this suggestion.

In this picture ,she acknowledge her popularity.The amount of love from her fans for her, that they take the time to interpret and explain her facial expressions.

My approach has always been this...

Its the writing that fails... why blame actors!!!!

If V was criticized for poor dialogues and stupid characterization... so can Sai and so can Satya... P ke liye less said the better.

Moreover for the makers... all the characters are famously grey

He knows Sai loves V, he knows V loves Sai... but just because he is the one who is married to Sai now, he wont let her go....in spite of the possibility that Sai feels differently..... is it not Patralekha 2.0??????

So if Satya is right today ... so was P during VP phase ....

And this is exactly what I dont like....😡

Instead of using the potential Satya showed when he caught P in her web of lies during the court case ... they are making him say stuff that's supports P.

He was introduced something differently... got turned into something else overnight...

SaiYa marriage still favours P, even in her absence!!!!!!!
