I think in any declaration of love, confession- the most important aspect is sincerity. Genuineness.

V lacks that entirely. He doesn't look at all sincere. He doesn't look at all genuine.

I dunno if thats the brief given to him. Is he really supposed to be SO insincere that his confession makes you wanna slap him, makes you squirm with discomfort?

Coz we have seen a "kinda" public proposal on ghkkpm before. That was Sai saying ILU to V with taam jhaam. That was mostly just family though in the audience but it was kinda public. But that made us all happy and go "Awwww" because there was sincerity.

Thats the key thing.

And when Sai asked him at that time- do you love me. When he "joked" saying No, she was ready to back off and accept it immediately. Thats the difference.
