P has always been selfish. When has she ever thought about anything but herself. Even her love for Vinu is selfish as she wants him for herself. Not concerned about what he needs. Just like she never cared what V wants.
I think Vinu formed an instant connection with Virat, Sai and Savi. Not sure how much they will show about his perception of feelings. But the boy might share similar pull to all the three. Till Dussera, he didnt share any particular bond with Pakhi. But in Picnic, he was the one to RESPOND first to Pakhi's absence. I dont know whether this is because of "gathered" love and responsibility towards his foster mother after Sai's explanation during Duserra or they changed the narrative saying he always had a bond with Pakhi.
We will see only in next episodes. For me, Vinu particularly equated mothers love to Sai's love for Savi. He saw that in Virat but not in Pakhi. In that episode where he locked himself in the bathroom, he emphasized it clearly. Then Pakhi coming in front the car etc might have made him accepted Pakhi even more. Sai's words have tremendous influence on the boy.
One more thing is how he has been effected by Pakhi's hospital visits and how he promised that he would never leave her. I dont know how much genetic traits they will show, but if for once he remembers his promises, then he is like his father, VC. Eldest son of next generation Chavan clan. It is in his blood to keep his promises. :P
Thats why congenital illness or something else should pop up, which will make him seek out his mother. He cannot betray his true feelings and will reach his mother. I am more inclined to family giving him away to Sai. Only that way, may be, Pakhi will know what Sai went through.
Regarding Pakhi, we have to see what her priorities are when Sai shifts to CN. Virat is going to be around Sai. He is already losing his senses after that hug. Now if Sai is close to him, he will show his actions more involuntarily :D. Will Pakhi shift her focus from Vinu to Virat? I believe she will. For her, having importance in Virat's life is more desirable than Vinu. Once Vinu chooses Sai, she will go insane for Virat.
