I did not know about the actor Neil Bhatt till I started watching Ghum by accident and fell in love with Sai and Virat. Back then it was a delight to watch you and Ayesha together onscreen and whenever there was a Sairat scene, you both gave your best and set the screen on fire 🔥 with your sizzling chemistry.
Then I came to know that you got engaged to the PL which made me inquisitive about how things will work out onscreen with the future story and execution.
That’s when I made a big mistake to follow your interviews, your SM and of course discussions about the show online- India Forum, Twitter etc.
My only intention was just to get some insight into the real people who were Sai and Virat on TV.
And that’s when I came to know that there were so many more faithful fans of Sairat out there just like me, who loved you and Ayesha the same way they loved Sai and Virat.
And you were very supportive and cordial with your FL and Also at the same time, acknowledged and appreciated Sairat too. You also gave sensible interviews back then.
But as time passed, I could also see how you have changed as a person outside the screen.
You stopped appreciating Sairat, the very reason due to which you got so many fans - and also pulling down fans publicly on National TV by painting a horrible pic of them as a bunch of jerks who are jealous of your real life marriage.
That was the most absurd thing I have ever heard from anyone.
I don’t know how you started having such delusions that anyone would have any problem with your life offscreen.
For some reasons (which only you know), suddenly your acting onscreen with FL started suffering. It became so bad that it was too glaring in your scenes with Sai.
You even started having trouble with genuine feedback given by the viewers and fans.
I don’t want to go on and on about how badly things deteriorated in the last one year, you know that better than us viewers.
The icing on the cake was when the entire plot got rewritten to give your real life partner extra ss by compromising the very essence of Sairat, which was the USP of the show.
And the trade off that you accepted (there might be other theories but I believe you agreed to this trade off) is complete butchering of Virat and sidelining of Sai’s journey.
This has indeed infuriated the faithful followers of your show and has left a very bad taste in the mouth.
So what did you gain in this trade off?
90% of Virat / Neil fans were also Sairat and Sai fans. Due to your character’s butchering, nobody wants Sairat anymore.
You lost those fans due to your offscreen shenanigans too. You deliberately started sidelining Ayesha’s contribution in your interviews .
You think people cannot see what you are doing?
End result- Majority of these fans are now Sai fans only. They hate Virat.
There was a time when Sairat trended- not anymore.
There was a time when Neil/ Virat trended, especially those episodes where you performed dances- Not anymore
There was a time when Sairat cakes used to be sent by fans - Not anymore.
There was a time when your offscreen pics were shared and retweeted multiple times - but now nobody cares.
There was a time when fans used to wait for your offscreen segments with Ayesha - Not anymore.
You have alienated not only Virat fans but also Neil fans in your trade off.
Your acting is mostly bland these days, sorry to say, even with child artists, you are sometimes bland.
In the beginning, I felt you had the potential to become a bankable TV star, but not anymore.
I, for one, will never watch any of your future work ever again. Actually I feel bad because you just wasted away your potential.
One last word - You seemed to be having some weird delusions that fans moved away from you because of your marriage to Aiswarya.
That’s ABSURD .
Fans don’t care about what you do with your real life or who you marry- but it really becomes a huge problem for them when they emotionally invest in your show and YOU YOURSELF ruin it by mixing your Reel life with your Real life and hurt their feelings.
I am almost at the verge of giving up on Ghum the way the story is now shaping up. It’s now so boring and predictable. All Thanks to You Neil - The viewers will never forgive you!
