I guess I can see your point. I am just thinking in terms of his rights as father of the kids and not husband. As father he should have equal rights on kids and by making Sai not acknowledging that, writers are basically whitewashing every character in the show but her. Literally everyone turned good even Jagtap.
Imagine my surprise when I see Kaku feeling for adopted kid when she was horrible to her Harini or Mohit or Shivani bhuwa turning into Pakhi’s supporters.
According to sai, virat is a failed father, she wanted her kid to have both parents love that's why she forgave virat immediately even though he literally snatched vinu from her hand to give it to pakhi. He kept sai away throughout pakhi pregnancy by believing pakhi words that sai will harm her. Still when she exposed pakhi crimes, she forgave virat by saying our kid deserves both parents love. She trusted him despite everything.
But what he did do? Bailed out pakhi despite sai saying clearly she will leave house with vinu if he brings pakhi back.
Virat knows sai will leave with her son if he chooses pakhi, still he choosed to bail a criminal over his wife and his son.
She left the house by breaking all ties. Virat also clearly said everything is over once u step out.
So why should she inform him about her pregnancy. She compromised so much to give him father rights in vinu case, but he failed her and her son.
About not informing virat about vinu death, she was done with getting blame again and again.
When she thought vinu is dead, she imagined virat cruelly blaming her for vinu death.
Whole chavan family and Virat would have shown hell to her had she stood before him with that news.
She already lost her first child because of pakhi abuse for 15 days with slaps and curses.
Had she informed them, she would have got another miscarriage or virat would have snatched savi too from her for pakhi like he snatched vinu from her.
Virat lost all his father rights the moment he choosed a criminal like pakhi over sai and vinu.
