If they handle this marriage thing well, Virat's character will get more sympathy than Sai. Because living a loved one's death is not easy. Like i said you have a very good creative as well as analytical mind. This is the only chance they can elevate Virat. They need to show what he has gone through and that can only come out once he sees Sai. The memories for the past and the pain he went through, that is the only way to justify his anger.

This track has a lot of potential on emotional grounds, if they can cash on it. Especially both for Sai and Virat.

If they show Ujjanpur track, Sai is the one who tells sorry for MUing him again!! If she realizes what he has gone through in her absence, ofcourse she will ask forgiveness.

If only she went back to him, trusted him a little more, they could have had blissful 5 years. She will also regret. but thats life.

Only good thing that happened to them, in this mess they created is that their children atleast got full attention from one parent atleast. Their kids gave them hope and strength to live. The makers are showing it that this separation is caused by both. both are equal partners in it. While Virat intiated the separation, Sai sustained it. :(
