I loved that story part in the show and that naming by Savi!
I think Pillu is here to stay, now no matter what the kids are named, they are pillu 1,2,3 for me! 😂

Sai cradled her stomach, tired from the day. Just as she was about to settle down on the bed, her little munchkin came running in.

“Aaaaaiiii” said Savi, halting right in front of Sai.

“Aram se bada, chot lag jayegi na” Sai said, shaking her head at her ball of energy.

Sai was already in her kaftan, wanting to be as comfy as possible.

Savi saw her mother’s expression and immediately came to her aid. She put a pillow behind Sai’s back and urged her to lean on it.

Sai smiled proudly at her precious daughter, always compassionate.

“Aap thik to ho na Aai” Savi said, worry marring her face.

“Han bacha..Aai bilkul thik hai…” Sai said while indicating Savi to come sit besides her on the bed.

Savi happily obliged. She hopped on the bed, ready to cuddle with her aai and sibling in Sai’s tummy.

“Tumhara jo ye “pilu 3” hai naa..woh Aai ke tummy mein naa khel ra hai..to Aai thak gayi hai..aur kuch nahin bada” she said, kissing Savi on the cheek. Savi relaxed after hearing that and smiled wide.

“Mujhe bhi khelna hai baby ke saath Aai” Savi said, excited.

Sai giggled at her innocence. “Abhi nahin khel sakte na bacha” Sai said, making her understand.

“Alle yaal Aaai !” Savi said, holding her head disappointed. She wasn’t upset for long though because she got an idea right away.

“Ideaa !” She yelled out, making Sai jump. Sai held her chest “Bappa, kya karungi mein iss ladki kaa”

“Main baby se baat to kal sakti hun na” She didn’t wait for a confirmation. She dived right into it.

“Hi pilu 3, main hun Savi !” she said, using gestures as if she could be seen by the human growing inside Sai.

Sai watched, amused, almost forgetting the pain she was in.

“Main aapki Tai hun..choti wali nahinnn ! BAALi waaali” she said, extending her hands to show how big. Sai shook her head, smiling at the cuteness. Savi leaned in and stuck her ear to Sai’s belly, taking her by surprise. Sai held and caressed Savi’s head lovingly, content to be surrounded by her two bundles of joy ! “Bas Vinu or Virat sir ki kami hai” she thought.

Right on cue, her first born rushed in, followed by the love of her life. Her heart was full, the glow on her face, permanent.

Both Vinu and Viru stopped in track after seeing that Savi had an on-going conversation with junior Joshi/Chavan.

They all watched her, curious to know what their “Maji Aai” will come up with today.

Virat and Sai, as always, had a small silent conversation. He raised his brows and she responded with a smile.

“Baby lo kyun nahin ra hai Aai ?” She frowned. Virat almost laughed out loud. Sai held her head knowing that a round of questions will follow.

“Baby abhi nahin roe ga na Savi. Jab woh ayega, tab roega” Sai explained.

She didn’t bother with the answer because suddenly she was back to her small talks.

“Aapko pata hai, aapke baba..oh solly solly…humale baba na..woh aapko laat ko chup ke se kissi kalte hain..” Virat’s eyes widened, embarrassed. Sai blushed, hiding a smile. Vinu looked at his baba, amused. Virat shut his son’s ears, making Vinu giggle.

Before Savi could continue with her truth bombs, Virat interrupted. “Arey ! Savi beta, aap yahan kya kar rahe ho” he said, pretending he didn’t hear anything. Vinu couldn’t hold his laughter in. He went to sit by his mother’s side and enjoyed the conversation between his sister and father. Sai hugged him to her, both watching the other two, amused.

“Alle yaal baba, main baby ko batalayi hun naa..” Virat smiled awkwardly “tu to gaya aaj beta..”

“Bas ab baby se enough baat hogi, ab Vinu ki bari ok” Virat said, trying to distract her. Savi being Savi, she let her place to her brother without much of a fuss. Virat let out a sigh of relief. Sai watched her “mini me” wreck havoc. Virat settled on the other side. Sai leaned in and whispered in his ear “Virat sir, aapse do Sai to sambhali nahin jaati, agar teesri agayi..to kya karoge” she raised her brows, teasing him. “Itni bateesi mat dekhao, dekhlunga tumhein..” He said, his eyes lingering on her lips. “Hup !” She replied, making him grin.

“Aaaaiiii…Babaaaa” Savi yelled, bringing their attention to her.

“Ye kya khusur phusur kare ho” she inquired, making them speechless.

“Maaajiii Aaaai” Virat said, folding his hands in front of Savi “Please humein maaf kardo”

Saavi giggled and said “Pehle mele sawal ka jawab do”

“Bataaye na” Virat said, afraid of what she’ll come up with now, to embarrass him.

“Baby Aai ke tummy mein kaise aya ?” Virat’s eyes widened, looking at Sai, who had the same expression on her face.

He pretended to look at the time and said “Oho, Vinu ke homework ka time hogaya hai na Savi beta, to abhi mujhe jana hoga. Par aapki Aai hai naa…Woh doctor hai na to unko sab kuch pata hai..Un se pooch lena” he said, fleeing from there with Vinu in tow. Sai watched her hubby leave the premise, her mouth wide open. He turned around and winked at her. She glared back at him, making him leave quicker. “Tumhe to main dekh lungi” she muttered under her breath.

Mood hua, to likh diya 😆
