Lovely post . I have a different view about Sairat pre surrogacy and post surrogacy track which might not align with majority of the people here .

If I had to summarize , Pakhi was there from day one between Sairat but Virat knew how to draw a line with her till surrogacy kand . Virat though had some residual feelings still didn’t fall for Pakhi’s emotional manipulation and attempts to get closer to him in the absence of his wife . He never let Pakhi have upper hand . I feel in surrogacy track it was the opposite he let BK and Pakhi take him for a ride and failed to draw a line . Few examples are

1. Pakhi is waiting for him to serve food at the middle of the night when he is back from work but he refuses to do even in the capacity of a friend . Despite his differences with his wife when Pakhi brings food to his room he refuses to eat . Cut to surrogacy track , he takes her out on ice cream date in late night knowing how his wife feels about it .

2. Doesn’t fall into BK’s manipulation when she forces him take Pakhi to Ladakh or feed her from his hands when Pakhi goes on hunger strike . Cut to now , he easily gets manipulated to make Pakhi surrogate , prefers Pakhi over Geeta , bails out Pakhi , hands over the baby .

Sai on the other hand have been unreasonable in earlier tracks . She was insecure about his past and always brought it out though he gave a reason . She couldn’t accept that she wasn’t his first and despite Virat’s attempts she believed he was two timing her . Her anniversary outburst was the proof and she said many harsh words which didn’t hold any truth . Her accusations were wrong . Her karma dialogue to Virat after finding Samrat was a below the belt comment . After Shruthi’s kand , I see a tremendous growth in her . She learned to trust her husband’s love and understand his stance but it was Virat who let her down this time . He failed to understand her concerns despite spelling out her fears clearly .

Post consummation itself he started feeling more confident and slowly taking over her decisions. Surrogacy and later incidents where he didn’t pay attention was total abuse 😒

Actually they were shooting CN scenes on Saturday, so maybe they r editing and adding those n between. So delay....not sure.

Sai night have thought, he took Vinu and didn't search for her. Plus ananth, sams death aligations, he didn't stop her, got p on bail etc might have played on her. And also maybe seeing v-p also.

Sai has grown and responded appropriately to every situation. She has been impulsive but her actions/reactions/words have always had a reason. It has been justified. Even if script doesn't fully justify, Ayesha has done so in her performance. When she had issues with insecurities, confusing signals, mistrust she expressed it. It was valid. She apologized for crossing the line in words or behavior or both. Whenever she has hurried up an issue like devkit, nini, etc she has had a reason. She thought about everyone in the family even before she acknowledged her love for V or their marriage as "real" not deal. She did this even though she always was misunderstood and name called. She never held grudges.

When she was wrongly brainwashed into taking sole blame for shruti kaand, she took it - for love. She took the onus of confessing her feelings also by risking potential heartbreak.

Post remarriage she has had many issues with Vs choices/decisions but she always kept her trust in V and put up with it all purely for love, mutual respect and her marriage while still not compromising her values/ideals and core personality. She has spoken up but eventually given in and adjusted ONLY for him... He crossed all limits with surrogacy - she tolerated it only and only for him and because she kept thinking ok whats done cant be fixed so lets focus on baby. She showed incredible maturity in allowing herself to feel uncomfortable but still never mistrusting V over PP pregnancy. She always had valid concerns but it was all ahot down. She still tried to be the bigger person , bury the hatchet, focus on moving forward instead of making things ugly. But all her tolerance threshold was breached when V gave baby to pp- she still forgave him after the truth reveal that she had to do all alone even though it was Vs responsibility as a police officer. She was kind and without ego realizing that their baby needed both parents and she didnt stretch the fight. She forgave him easily even though he gave HER baby to another woman by literally snatching it out of her hands which is unforgivable. And then he goes ahead to still bail pp to bring her back to live with them in same house KNOWING shes dangerous enough to physically harm Sai and obsessive, crazy! He claims pp has already been "punished". And he just does NOT understand her pov despite her clearly stating her reasons. He didn't stop at that - he actually had the audacity to give her an emotional blackmail vaala ultimatum and call her a bojh, samjhauta, orphan, claim she breaks families and was responsible for Sams death. After all this when she finally got in an accident and is presumed dead he has moved on without spending even a full day looking for her let alone using his resources, position. He has SO easily given up on her. And people expect that Sai should have go back to this piece of scum to let him know that hes father again to a baby girl. Does this man deserve to be in Sai, Savi's life?! Does he deserve a chance, trust , love from Sai's side?!

And Sai knows and saw how he behaved with pp, Shruti taking a Stand for them whereas he has only done so in Sai's case when there was irrefutable proof. Even then Sai alone was enough to handle it- whether it is Shivani -amey, education, mohit food denial fight, ladakh, His own accident, harini - devkit issue, NiNi shaadi, her career etc etc etc. None of this was anything mahaan. It was the bare minimum. Many involved helping his family members and rest was Sai's basic human rights- right to education, career etc. Still Sai valued it all because it was more than anything anyone ekse ever gave her, she tried her best to be devoted, understand him but he has ONLY let her down. Ideally this story is over in terms of Sairat after everything hes done. But because its itv, audience will be willing to give a chance because here things are OTT. So we can all still root for Sairat if only there is a genuine redemption.. But he is so far not getting anything redeeming in the plot. He has had no scenes yet that show us the impact of losing Sai and nothing to suggest he has evolved in a positive way. And knowing pp is still around in his life in ANY capacity is a set up for more disappointment only. So no matter how sweet he is with kids, his core personality - has he undergone any growth remains to be seen and if pp, CN exist in his life in a major way- then the answer is a NO.

Despite everything, Sais love is so pure that behind all her resentment and pain, bitterness, she has buried the love that doesn't just vanish. She had chosen to just not address the issue of father kaun hai with Savi instead of coloring her with negativity and prejudice. She could have easily given in to bitterness and raised Savi as a man-hater. She could have told her that her dad was horrible and an ips making Savi not wanna be in the police but Sai sets apart all that negativity to focus on raising her daughter to be independent, fearless, idealistic, happy just like her dad raised her. It takes great strength to do so. She doesn't let her feelings get the better of her or her parenting. She still retains her goodness instead of becoming bitter at the world itself- which is a miracle .

Sai is the only character to have any arc , relatibility, depth, perspective and be aspirational, motivational as an audience - and its not due to makers vision because makers have tried to make her come across as immature, ziddi, rude, etc etc but its due to Ayesha's mind-blowing portrayal of Sai that they have failed. Rather Sai is beautiful, righteous, fierce, flawed but one to learn from her mistakes and life experiences, pure hearted, kind, brave. A wonderful mother, friend, sister, wife, daughter, doctor and human being.
