There’s nothing wrong in it .. absolutely correct way .. but there are enough stories written in tv where the heroine gets married to guys like this abd reforms him .. Remember Pratigya ( star plus show )

He wanted to marry Sai , kidnapped her .. wrong .. then her father went after him , then virat got involved and things became murkier .. and dirtier

it resulted in her father getting killed .. it’s not like jagtap was a great guy . But things got black .. after her father got killed

And her father got killed because Sai n KJ had never accepted Jagtap as a worthy man for Sai .. ( he’s not .. Sai is too clever a girl .. an academic girl .. she would never consider a lesser educated person her worthy partner ..)

if Kamal Joshi had accepted the marriage .. and not called virat .. he would have lived and learnt to accept the status quo . mane family is as bad as chavhan … but Kj would have lived

Virat by clearing UPSC invariably got acceptance in her mind and also her father .. that’s why somehow Kj tied her up to virat ..

They could have kept up this suspense..baby hai ya nahi ..for nine months...till audience got tired of filing complaints to iBF...and the baby was safely delivered

V definitely scored on the acceptance part from KJ. If KJ likes him, Sai would definitely like him.

GC wala V was a sensitive and understanding human being. Sai was quite rude to him during that time but he was nothing but patient. KJ saw that. Hence made the match.

Sai was in a very impressionable age where machocism would have mattered to anyone and Jags could have easily fasaoed her. But her sound upbringing and the difference between right and wrong which KJ taught her made her reject Jagtap.

V was a very unique counter to Jagtap at that point. Lucky even. If this was a married IPS officer, there wouldn't have been any story. And he would have left her alone post her suicide. And Jagtap would have had his way.

Pakhi only went for looks and infact later on, it became an obsession because V chose Sai over her out of love, not of necessity.

But I strongly believe that V is a different person around Sai. He is more carefree and jovial and there's a child in him which comes out only with Sai. With others he is guarded, a residue persona of an IPS.

Sai brings out the best and worst of him.

If this was real life, Pakhi would have been long gone out of this... And even in reel life... They have stretched it and squashed it too much to the point that sometimes we ourselves question as to what is it that keeps SaiRat together.

And that's squarely a fault in execution.

Otherwise theoretically SaiRat are meant to be together.
