I reread the first part after the sefond.

virat has a lot to apologise or address or realise. Even before the surrogacy topic was there, he opened up to patralekha and even said he feels suffocated in the room with Sai. Ashwini and Ninad could notice his closeness to patralkeha and how he didn’t even know until his parents said that Sai is suffering and lonely.

This is months after the incident and after Sai has been so understanding. He has to realise how he left her alone in her pain when she tried to help him. And hiding the surrogacy part and letting Sai imagine the worst and alone in all this, Sai shouldn’t forgive him I hope she asks him the right questions.

Sorry the first part was so powerful. It’s like that fo Virat to always blame Sai when she voiced out her opinion and wants to leave for his happiness. I thought he would actually reflect on his own , cos it’s pretty obvious from hee speech that she was feeling inadequate and useless and not loved. He needs someone to tell him the obvious.

Sai should clearly voice out hee vulnerabilities and wuestion him

Loved the twist. It also shows Virat for the umpteenth time that Pakhi is not to be trusted in anything to do with him. She is no longer his friend! In the show, I really hope he learns the hard way. How she uses their friendship to her advantage.

While reading your update, I was imagining the show following the same path & feeling so satisfied😆

Ya 😉. I did put that bit that it was illegal being one of the reasons that he didn't want to proceed. And force fitted Sai's absence to give that twist 🤣

Oh I can't see that surrogacy track. That very possibility has kept me away from watching the show lately.

With this TS I wanted to give a balance in perspective. I wanted equal space for their vent out and justification. While I have dealt with Sai's side to some extent, Virat's perspective is yet to be explored.

While I say this, I do feel that even in that perspective he may be wrong and may not be at par with Sai in strength or logic or maturity. Yet I wanted to give a reasoning to his actions of why he did what he did. Justified or not is debatable. Mostly his "know it all attitude" and "right moment" logic are the killers.

There are a few things I have left open or loosely tied in the last 2 parts. I will tie them up in the next one. So a few questions that you raised will have an answer, but then again it may not justify or claim his actions as right. Just wanted to create something that highlighted their contrasting characters and explore why they behave in a certain manner.

We will continue this once I update the next part. Would love to know your thoughts after that one.❤️

Will look forward to reading for sure.

But i do have an intrinsic bias because from the get go I feel no amount of "justification" can explain his recurrent need to lie to Sai and adopt a holier than thou attitude. His intentions maybe noble or good but he cannot disregard his wife. In all his planning, PP was privy to things he felt (and duped him, tried to drive a wedge in his marriage ) but his wife was in the dark. Thats not ok. Yet when the time came she has shown her faith in him. Would he have done the same?

If Sairat were to separate due to a misunderstanding it should be on their own terms and not because of a 3rd person between them but V keeps bringing another woman in the middle even if its unknowingly.

And he claims to be more mature but really he's not. I think on the show he's finally realizing that. But now on the show he has gone from constantly underestimating Sai to overestimating her tolerance, strength and patience not understanding that shes human and will crumble eventually. And then it will be beyond repair :(

He seems to learn nothing from bitter lessons handed to him. I have gone from appreciating the character's "greyness" and "real" personality to finding him utterly confused, bipolar with no arc of growth.
