That is true... people who shift frequently do not have a association with any particular place unless that location has either a very good or a terrible memory.

As for V and Sai...

the thing is... post confession....

The kind of writing as you are well aware is all over the place... they are just writing whatever they feel like with no head or tail... its showing in the episodes where the characters are going all over.

The only thing that helps in making sense of all this is to operate on the understanding that V loves Sai and Sai loves V.

It is there test of love in all these new issues and how they stand with each other.

Honestly, I see a mini separation around... especially with whatever P is planning to do. Whether this happens or not has to be seen.

Aur P sirf SaiRat ko alag karne ka soch rahi thi.... ye pregnant hone ka idea uski mommy dearest ne diya hai use... how she will do it nobody knows.

Yes I have a house of my own but I always say I m going home when I go to my parents place :) I can’t feel at home anywhere else other than the one I spent my childhood in. I have a deep bond with it! My husband has very special place to the office he first went to. He visits it from outside even though the company isn’t there in the building anymore 😅. It is strange but he has some strong memories there with that building. Now I know why!

Yes basic premise of their marriage that they love each other and wanted to be together should not be forgotten. Though I also think virat’s distance now especially when he knows what she is going through is beyond comprehension.

Remember when he saw sada in mall, that night he proclaimed sai is the closest to him who he wanted to share everything. And ofcourse changing his name and all! How come that man can become so insensitive suddenly. All that he talked to ninad can be easily said to sai!! That’s the problem with writing. People who watched KD might relate to this virat because rono was little insensitive in these matters. Here making virat swing like this is definitely not palatable. But as moor said it can be psychological for him to be in that room.

Usually also thinking back Virat can get quite self absorbed when things go wrong with him/them. During the end of sruthi track he didnt fight for sai, wallowing in his own hurt that she left him. Post anniversary and post sruthi track he punished her with his anger so brutally. He can become this person! Especially with his mother and Sai as msin worded it beautifully . Whether it is right behavior? No! But that’s what he is… In KD rono’s attitude with emon where he gradually takes her for granted is beautifully shown. And emon being accommodative to him till she breaks is also shown. They break up and patch up till he goes overboard neglecting her! Whether sai should accept him and this marriage is debatable because there is a bigger reason called love. That’s why we exchange different opinions here. 😅

In short, though the writing could have been better to show virat’s reasons to ignore sai in this state, he is basically this person who could go into shell and be self absorbed. We have seen this behavior more than once. Also as moor said, him talking about not being in room could be justified a bit but it is more hinting towards next track. It is definitely looking like a force fit 😠

Ps: I can’t wait to see him paying for this attitude soon! And only fake pregnancy will do the justice. 😅

To add to this,

I have a firm belief that this will lead to a breakdown from Sai... either through separation or some emotional upheaval.

She has been holding it all in since long and may finally burst. She did in some bits when she wore than chandan ki mala. Saying I need support too... hinting that she does feel alone.

Lamented "Main phirse anath ho gai on Sam's death" effectively saying that V is not there with her....

Her pain and her betrayal during Shruti track was never addressed.

The reason for this is, she herself didn't realize the magnitude of it, brushed it off in the exhilaration of her newly discovered love and V like you said is always self absorbed. He doesn't realize his mistakes unless someone points them out to him.

This breakdown of Sai will finally make him see what he did to her and is still doing to her.

To me, this might happen soon and is needed for V to finally see the pain he has caused her and reach out to her.

Cannot be fake pregnancy.....story will be over then...now that Samrat is dead

PS: First thing that popped in my mind when I read about attachment to office: paranormal activity :)

As I said, I am not supporting V or his behaviour in this post. In fact just like you said, even I feel that Sai should have been the one to say I cannot stay in this room.

Its bad bad writing and this dialogue is definitely an afterthought. They have skipped over all those issues for the sake of this surrogacy drama. I don't want to get into offscreen so tried to analyze it this way. Had it been paced out and those baby planning scenes were actual instead of dreams and flashbacks, it would have made a difference.

The reason I made this post is because as a trained professional, I felt the connection of memories and physical space and how that affects the reactions of the individuals concerned.

Again in no way saying that he should behave like this.

I have personally no experience with this and so my opinion may not be correct and Sorry if this hurt you.

I do like to read different perspectives, thats why I hang out here and on twitter so I can see things I m missing to see. So please keep tagging me on analysis. I may not always agree but I like to read them.

once again, I didn’t mean to imply your analysis hurt me, but this matter is so close I couldn’t stop my self from venting.
