Why should Sai try making Virat see things or do something to stop getting played by Pakhi. He's no kid. It'll be his own doing. Idk why a woman always has to fight for her relationship? What's the responsibility of the man? Sai gotta walk out when it'll be back to square one again from OG days of the show.
Regarding RK in KD she had my sympathy too because she over-all changed & reformed time to time the way she stood for Imon during her delivery was heart warming here Pakhi hasn't been nice to Sai even for a single moment in the entire show. None would feel tiny bit of sympathy for her.
All I can say is human beings crumble under pressure, loss and guilt. It is hard to behave objectively. Only a strong person, man or woman, who is capable of seeing things as they are will be able to stand by other person. That’s why I said Sai. Not because she is a wife in a marriage, because she is the logical and objective one in the relationship. Also she has seen death and recovered.
Just because Sai is logical pratical or whatever the onus isn't on her when her husband will go around acting proxy husband to other men's wives blurring boundaries, deprioritizing own wife, no guilt nothing can justify his behaviour his taking his wife for granted ALL THE TIME. It's not about gender had it been role reversal I'd have said the same. He's just good to restricted being a humanitarian not a husband. That's why no woman specially an orphan should end up with him who neglects his wife at every given opportunity to care for every other distressed women specially friend's or brother's wife while having zero empathy & sympathy for your own wife. He has sympathy for whole world except his so-called love. When I say this, I say for both Ronno & Virat however Virat is borderline loose character.
And he has no guilt of KJ losing his life for him? What about his own upcoming child?
Make hay(memories) while the sun shines(time lasts)!
A heartbreaking yet beautiful episode that shows the impermanence of life and truth of time.
Virat and Sam shared so many memories together. Today we saw what their bond is! Sammy came to CN for Virat's sake. He wanted to be around him for whatever reason. He was being a protective big brother who taught him cycle (?), handled him during distress.. it is indeed a very deep bond. Their relationship had undergone worst turn of events, but when he was breathing his last, the most genuine moments were relived. He might be the only one who understood him and his frailties. The words to Sai "Shiva ko Sambhalna" has a larger meaning after seeing this episode. May be he didnt mean anything related to Pakhi, not at all. But in general, he might be knowing Virat will buckle under guilt, afterall this situation resulted from saving his wife and baby. Samrat spoke these words with some understanding of his younger brother's psyche. Good writing here I felt. We need to watch tomorrow's episode to see more. But the car conversation between Shiva-Jeeva and how he used to take care of Virat, and this dialogue in tandem with that makes so much more sense!!!
Definitely a poignant scene. It gave us more clarity on their bond, their childhood. But most importantly a indirect indication that Samrat was one who knew Virat in true sense (with all his faults and weakness). He never spoke aloud about it, only acted in alignment with that understanding. Because he knew he will be there. But today when he had to leave his side he was worried about Virat, knowing how he is and how this tragedy will play on his conscience. And he wanted to someone to step in to fill that void that he was going to create to hold Virat together. SAI.
Sai had instant connection with Samrat because of their shared destiny in love. She understood his feelings like nobody, even Virat because she was facing a similar heartbreak like him. Hence their connection is also very original, independent of her marriage with Virat. She had made memories too with him. So much so that he is the first person she calls when her husband is not around. He is his family and kin after he proclaimed his role during her remarriage and also lived upto it now. He might not be her Aaba, but the only kin she might have turned to who would have protected her in any situation without judgement. That much trust he has earned from her.
Yes. their bond was independent of any other relationship. Their situations only facilitated in the bond getting stronger. No one can match her Aaba, but Samrat will hold a different space, her family apart from her In-Laws.
Pakhi, had ample time to set things right with him. While Sai had earned his love and experienced it being an outsider, Pakhi being his life partner didnt even see him properly till recently. She had a huge opportunity to atleast know this person who her exlover repeatedly mentioned being a better man than him. Who waited for her, knowing her inclination towards his brother. Now, when she is ready to move on with him for whatever reasons, she is going to lose him forever. He could have given her the love she was expecting or even more. Even if she finds the love later, this injustice she has done to him will haunt her. It takes years to come out of guilt. While any good person will break down, repent and make amends to their behavior, Pakhi might turn resentful and turn her guilt into hate towards the easy target, Sai. Because only she knows the truth, that she wronged him. It needs courage to accept that fact and also acceptance of her mistakes to correct her life. She doesnt have both. She will chose the easy way to blame someone else for her misforture and fate. No wonder she will scheme to separate Sai and Virat. We have to see how low she can fall. Is her motive only to separate them or to get Virat. Both are vile, but the latter shows she never loved Samrat too!
This is a very interesting perspective. And like you said we will have to wait and watch what will be the intent of her evil moves.
Sid was menacing as usual. He became a pervert this time as I said earlier. Sai pleaded to his human side to let her be quoting her pregnancy but he has none! He had to escape :( Only to come back a changed man. I guess. Injured and police hunting him will make him retrospect. When Jaggy comes back as in KD, Virat will have reason to not let Sai treat him. But Sai is bound by Doctor's oath and humanity so she will. I will want her to treat him, as a doctor and also as Sai. There is a beautiful scene in Mumbai Diaries series, where the doctor played with elan by Mohit Raina saves the terrorist and not the police officer from mumbai, because terrorist has more chances of survival. He was bound by duty! Sai has to remind Virat about her duty if he objects. Sorry I got carried away, but it will be such a good plot with valid conflict.
I was wondering if he will be caught or not. But if this is what happened in KD and if he comes back, it will be another interesting track, with a conflict of perspectives. He is responsible for the death of 2 people dear to them. Each losing one blood and one soul connect. If I keep aside the fact that he is reformed, the fact that Sai's professional oath binds her can definitely clash with Virat. And both right in their opinions. But a person who is a threat to innocent lives deserves no sympathy. Treating him to return to the society to cause harm to more people is definitely not justified. Well thats my take though. But it will be interesting again to watch the clash. Which would again put Sai on the spot.
Now coming to acting, The trio and Sid also did well. No complaints there.
Coming to execution, today everything is captured in detail even the way Virat carried and safely placed samrat into the car. No editing glitches also. So these are the episodes that are well planned and executed, written well too. The previous two episodes are just prerequisites to this episode.
I dont have any predictions on future plot, dont want to predict also. The plot is definitely changed to enable Yogi's exit. They could have replaced him and shown Pakhi's full blown realization like in KD, that I explained in a post couple of days back. Now with this kind of premature exit, Pakhi's realization and change is so absurd. May be they wanted that way, she wanted to move on with Sammy only to get pregnant and get the attention. It was never genuine. I dont know. I dont trust writers to write some meaningful dialogues to capture her mental state either. So if she is turning vile to just hurt Sai, then may be she started to have feelings for Sammy. If she is after Virat, then she is the old Pakhi only. Thats how I will see her.
This we will really have to wait and watch. Dont know if they are playing mind games or unsure themselves.
This is definitely a high emotional part of the story. There is lot of potential to show several emotional facets of both Sai and Virat. I just hope they dont comprimise on the progress made as SaiRat. Virat cant neglect his pregnant wife for consoling a distressed wife of his brother. No amount of guilt can make you leave her alone when entire family might feel sympathetic to Pakhi and make her feel alone! Sai cant give up Virat or her baby just because she was indirectly related to Sammy's death. Her duty is to stay a mother first and then wife to Virat and support him when he will be played mercilessly by Pakhi. If we can separate offscreen from the story, this plot can really be an interesting one.
This will be the biggest test for Sai. I hope they dont reduce it to blame it all
PS: Shiva ko Sambhalna is a big take away from precap. Knowing Virat, he will be played with. I want Sai to protect him as she is the only one who could be objective in this mess. But being vulnerable to her own emotions now, a mother who will be indebted to the person who protected her and her baby, how much objective can she be?!!
Very nice analysis with some interesting thinking points. There was so much and rightly paced (barring P's switch). An very emotional ride
