Sai Joshi is no longer a Joshi, now she is Sai Doshi.

I do feel that Ashwini is shrewd in her own way. But yet I find her incapable of conspiring and plotting.

She loves her son, but I'm yet to see that possessive streak in her. Because she is one of those people who knew without V stating that he loves Sai. She knows what Sai means to V and her influence on him. Even now she is trying to manipulate that indirectly. She has seen him fighting with everyone for Sai when he had not done that for her all these years. Hence logically it seems unlikely. But then Ghum doesnt go by logic. And then as you mentioned Ninad's heart attack and Sai's miscalculation may trigger it. One mistake right after another. When she sees both men in her life are supporting her while she fought for their well being she may feel sidelined and insecure.

I may buy that one. But I still cant get convinced on her getting negative wrt planning and plotting against Sai.

But she is too obsessed with Godu ki khushi. As long as it is with Sai, she will support her but not until Godu himself forgives Sai.

In that period or when something like this happens again, she would be influenced by BK Pakhi for supporting Sai unabashedly... which is what happened in Shruti. V was at fault, Ash too in believing that V betrayed Sai... but her guilt which she is projecting on Sai and making her the target of the wrath is because she supported Sai and not Godu. It really should have been other way around.

As his mother and knowing his feelings, she should have been the lone V supporter... going against Sai even. That didnt happen and with guilt ridden Sai, Ash has found a softer target.

She is such a heartless woman!

Ashiwni pissed me off with her hyprcrisy and Virat with his too cold to comprehend behavior. I thought his hand would have raised to touch her softly when she talked about being orphan. Thats the only thing I thought Sai would never feel in his presence. But alas! He remained just her husband. Not even his admiration for her success as doctor yesterday could make me forgive him for how he made Sai feel.

Although their marriage started as a deal, both Sai and Virat had acted as husband and wife since the beginning. Virat had realized early on he wants a real relationship with Sai but for Sai she was still in deal. Although somewhere she hoped for a relationship with him. When Sai was packing her bag before leaving CN last time, she had said 'you wanted to end this relationship, but you are making me say it'. At that point, for her, it was not her who broke the relationship, it was him. Only after finding out the full truth she realized it was her who broke their relationship, not him.

Before this Virat had put effort on their relationship, but it never happened because for Sai there is no relationship between them. In a way, Virat was the only one who had kept hausla on their relationship. (there were glimpses of hausla from Sai's side but ended before it reached its destination) Now Sai wants their relationship, but Virat has backed out. She has said she will not let their relationship break, so whether their relationship stays or breaks is on him. If we see it in another way, all this while Virat had let their relationship progress according to Sai, but now their relationship depends on him.

About Ashwini, I have a different opinion. Her anger towards Sai is because Sai wronged her son. Sai's words about how she is sharminda of her bartaav, how she wants to change what she did, does pachyatav..kinda reflects with Ashwini's feeling about Virat. When Sai said Virat is not willing to forgive her, Ashwini fears it will be the same for her. Thats why she didnt let Sai's pleads melt her. Her sahi waqt is for Virat's forgiveness, and she believes her son will forgive her. When Virat forgives her, she will forgive Sai.

Virat: Meri andar himmat nahi hai phirse apni family ke saath pehle jaisa rishta rakhoon, isiliye door jaraha hoon, aankhon se dur rahunga, toh sabko takleef kam hogi.

'Sabko takleef kam hogi 'is not for the family only, but for Virat also. And Sai's reply 'dil ka kya?' is not just the family's heart its his heart too. In a way Sai is asking him to get that himmat not just for his family, but for him.

Sai: Sahi waqt ka intezaar mat kijiye, waqt accha ho ya bura ho, bas waqt hona chahiye, kahi esa na ho ki aap sahi waqt ka intezar karthe rehjaye aur waqt hi khatam hojaye

Sai: Jab hum narazgi ka chashma pehenlete hai na, toh humein bohot hi logical bohot hi important cheezein nazar ani band ho jathi hai, jaise meri saath hua tha.

Virat seem to have listened to this. He has said that he saw hate in her eyes, but Sai says its anger. Infact Sai has said that his changed behaviour is making her angry during their argument after she threw his phone. Virat also knew Sai will be angry if he didnt go to her award function. He was ready to accept whatever punishment but not her leaving him.*

The logical part got me thinking, when Sai saw Virat sign as Sahas father, she didnt think of the timeline (please dont throw chappal at me). Shruti said she has been married for 1.5 years and according to Sai that is before Virat and her marriage. Her conversation with Pulkit in the car as they were going for Shruti's injection, she couldnt figure out when Virat and Shruti happened and dont want to think about it. She didnt think where Patralekha fits there. She was in anger that it overpowered her mind. Her reaction was from her heart which was in pain, and pain can only be given by someone we love. The way Virat is now towards Sai and his family.

Sai: Aap appne gusse ki wajahse apne parivar se khatte hain, sirf aapki gusse ki wajahse..apno se narazgi rakhne ka matlab hai khud apni hi khushi ka kathal kar dena.

Although this is said to Virat for his family, in a way it reflects with Sai for Virat before. She has said before that she will need to live with this dard. She turned her focus towards her studies. While Virat now towards his job.

Sai: Agar zindagi hasne ka mauka dena, toh khulke haslena chahiye, agar galti hojaye to maafi mangleni chahiye.

Sai: Aur agar kuch esa hogaya hai jisse badla nahi ja sakta, toh phir usse bulakar aage badhna chahiye. "

Is this good sign or bad sign?

Sai: Aapke parivar walon se galti hui hain, lekin woh isiliye kyuki sabse pehle galti maine ki, maine aap bharosa nahi kiya, isilye unhone aap par shaq karna shuru kiya.

Now it made sense to me why all the blame fall on Sai. When the wife herself doesnt trust her husband, then it becomes easy for other to raise question on him.

Sai: Aap mujhse gussa hai, mujhse naraaz hai, isiliye mujhe saza dekar, mujhse door jarahein

Virat had said similar line to Sai when she was packing to leave CN before*. What she didnt get then, she feels now.

"Gile shikve insan ki zindagi mein bhoj banjathe hain, aur parivar..sahara, har mushkil mein saath dethe hain"

"Please meri galti ki saza apni parivaar ko ma dijiye..aapne parivaar walon ko ek aur mauka dedijiye,unhe maaf kar dijiye meri galthi keliye, please..aap ka man bhi halka hojayega, aap bhi pehle ki tharha jeene lagenge..abhi aap ji nahi rahe, sirf saasein le rahi hain."

Sai has dissociated herself from his parivar. She has not gotten any positive response for her apologies. Does this mean that she will leave so that he stays and starts 'living' back with his family? But then there is Shivani's wedding and she has said that she does not want their relationship to break. Maybe she will give him space and if he wants her back then he will go get her? 🤞🏼

Sai's conversation with Ashwini, about death, her being an anaath, parivaar ki ehmiyat.. just made me cry😭😭😭. Hats off to Ayesha.

So true. All characters have their flaws including the leads characters. And that is what made them so real and relatable.

However they failed to maintain them that ways. Sai was the only consistent one. But they reduced her to a doormat. An ITV ideal bahu material...unrealistic. When one is guilt trodden they tend to get burdened and lose their real streak. She can forgive everyone, but the problem is she is the one apologising to everyone and going out of her way to do so. She is not the only one at fault. Yet she is taking it all on herself.

Like you mentioned to make it real, she should have called out V's mistakes. However, V is not like Sai. V is closed and none of this would have gone into his head. He would only take it against her that she has the audacity to point fingers after doing all this to him. But what is more unacceptable here is the family's stand in all this. How they dumped all their guilt and mistakes on Sai and misbehaved with her. Yet she readily accepted them and their accusations that she wronged them. None of them have actually apologised to them yet she forgave them. She is pleading out to Ashwini, when she has actually betrayed her. I do wish she had called out their hypocrisy and gives them the secondary treatment. But then she wont, because is doesn’t have a family of her own and craves for one. Wish for one she calls out to Ashwini and the erstwhile Sai gang that they are her family only because if her relationship with V.

As Nethraa pointed to me, Sai's growth is her acceptance of crude reality that the bonds she formed are marital. It is very much real that you cant forge a bond of unconditional love with marital relationships. She will also learn that while Virat is a good man, good father(future?), and good lover he cannot fulfill her needs to be someone like her father who will be there for her and understand her. For now, she thinks everyone will love her the way she loves them.

Virat is lucky in this aspect. He gets unconditional love from Sai because she sees him in her father's place and invests all emotions on him. It is unfair too to expect that Virat provides her all the support and stability. he is young and learning in this relationship. So yeah, they are bound to get disappointed because of this mismatch of expectations and hence fight.

I only wish they dont sacrifice their child to their expectations. Separating a child from a mother or father is painful. The love they get from each parent is unique and fulfilling. I hope SaiRat will not fall to that level. :(

PS: Sorry I am so melancholic from 2 days. Dont know why. So my posts might sound cynical and depressing.
