Whatever progression made doesn’t feel like one. Lot of analysis is needed to understand the plot. May be that’s why this story is successful in various languages.

In all shows third angle is not married and here both pakhi and shruti are virat's bhabhi that's y people get anger when they see virat and pakhi in one frame. See if we see ekta or gul serials even third angle gets romantic with male lead but it didn't seem vulgar or pukeworthy to me . But here shruti and pakhi are married and both are bhabis to virat.
