Appreciation post for Ghum Technical team

Before everyone throws their chappals at me..

This is for the technical team and not actors... Okay for actors too... 😊

I happened to witness a shoot for an OTT show recently. Hadn't seen one before so this was my firsthand experience.

It was a simple shot of walking up and down an escalator in a mall. Hardly a 5 second shot.

They took almost an hour to set up and shoot it from 3 different angles... 6 takes till I got bored and left from there. Actors were veterans.

Now coming to Ghum, they seem to have exhausted their episode bank with Mahaepisode. The BTS we get is telecasted just a day or two later.

Which means everyone including the actors, directors and most importantly the technical team must be slogging hard to put up an episode.

Kudos to them. Whatever the story is right now, it has not faltered so much. It is still good to watch. The overall experience not the content to be precise.

Their poor editor must be working the nights too.

Hence an appreciation post. I know many would not agree, but I hope they take a mini break (probably 3-4 days) in the advance telecast and create their bank again.

Its unfair and wrong on the part of PH to be making everyone work so hard and long hours.

P.S. TV industry works this way is what I understand... still .. they all deserve a break.

They should stop releasing a week advance episodes online telecast and take a break. I bet they would all be overtiming to meet the deadlines. Everyone would be heck.

If they'll stop, all of them will be able to take some rest and work more efficiently. exhausted.

I dont think releasing episodes a week in advance in necessary, I dont understand the logic here.

The cast themselves seem to start their shoot early. Imagine the technical team has to be ready before them.

Even the actors... makeup hairstyle karne ke liye... and then sit all day with all that on...

Side characters ko to kabhi kabhi ek bhi line nahi hai... just stand there all dolled up 🤪

They should shoot bulk of episodes in one go then shoot per epi everyday in slow pace.

Vo tha na... pehle 6-7 din baad aata tha...

Par mahaepisode main bahot kuch use ho gaya shayad.

SP has become truly a money hunger.. 🤢One week ahead episodes have affected badly in the quality.. Also this seems to be lacking in competent technician in this department..

Not to forget they are human too.. At some point it gets exhausted working constantly without a break...

Dragging ka toh pata nahi but atleast they'll get some rest and will be able to work more efficiently

Exactly...

and all they do especially the past few months is just rona dhona, shouting bitching and backbiting.

I am reminded of Ayeshas IV in the divorce sign drama when she literally choked up talking about Sai.

Imagine how messed up this is...

This is another reason that whatever nonsense is being shown in terms of content... I am loving this happy, sassy Sai... deeply in love with V.
