yes Rono’s mom told emon to get married again but it was setting up scene for emon to reveal that she cannot .. because Rono has tied her with him .. he has given his seed . These are the exact lines .. and Rono repeats the same lines after they make up ..I have tied you with my seed .. whether I stay with you or not .. you will be mine .. and never belong to anybody else ..

so KD was very old school because the anger n jhagra was there ..like in those old novels .. where the heroine has only man in her life .. even if she has been estranged from him .. thinking of any other man was a slur to her character ..

Thanks! But you did not answer about rono's motivation to stay in the same house with her. otherthan the obvious reason for Sada to misunderstand them? It looks so out of place that he(Rono) stays even after knowing her intentions.

Here they are showing explicitely that Shruthi is invading his privacy, changing shirt scene etc, now hug. Is it to show 'cleary' that she is crossing lines, and hence Virat will move out? Anyways when she confesses, like today, he will know her intentions and will move out. But why to show scenes like shirt changing? Hug I can still understand though it was little intimate the way she held him. 🤢 but why is this 'explicity' needed?. Otherwise also we understand that she is falling for him. Ofcourse hug is also needed for Sada to misunderstand them. so I will leave it.

Also this shirt changing scene was repeated twice once with pakhi before and now with Sruthi! Is it to show us that the women are falling for him, attracted to him but he is not giving them any chance? To show his intentions extra clear to the audience (at the cost of misleading his character). Because parallelly, Ashwini also was talking about letting another person in Sai's life which Sai said she will not consider. So are they showing that they are loyal to each other even in separation?!

I wanted to understand why this extra scenes with the women? what purpose does it serve, other than sending wrong vibes.

When pakhi helped him wearing t shirt he first looked around for sai fearing she will do tamasha if she sees that. When he got to know sai is not there, he was relaxed, if he didn't liked pakhi doing that for him, he would have told her in clear cut atleast for samrat marriage sake but he didn't showed any reaction.

With shruti he has no one in the house who will judge him and make tamasha of his actions. So he didn't mind shruti coming to his room and helping him. Instead infront of her he changed his t shirt without any hesitation. The same man who came infront of his wife with covering towel. His occasional stay in limits dialogues are funny. He won't drink soup prepared by shruti but don't mind changing t shirt infront of her, he don't like shruti touching his forehead to check fever but he don't mind her hug even after almost confession. The occasional stay away from me dialogues are just to keep his image. Leading woman on and then continue encouraging them to pin over him despite knowing their intentions is pukeworthy. Emotional cheating>>>>>>

Sorry if this offended you. But that's how his character became. Rono was dignified in this aspect, no matter how selfish he is as a character he never crossed physical boundaries with both rk and shruti. He didn't even touched shruti in this track. He used to call her as aap. But here it is virat who started getting touchy with shruti just after 1-2 days of their meeting as if he know her from long time. Not everything can be justified in the name of intentions.

Well thats where I have issues with the story line. Rono never followed an emotional decorum , with other women and was adamant on Emon following the same.

I am not sure about establishing character of Virat to be a one woman man. But the fact that he is sharing a house with other woman, changing clothes like she can walk in puts a question on his character in general.

We as couples who are all friends hang out but have never seen the men or the women in our group being so open about changing clothes in the presence of other woman, who is also a good friend. The decorum of that sort is always maintained.

Pakhi's case can be ignored, he did it in his room and showed some restraint and awkwardness , here in front of someone who is Bhabhi he was so okay changing the clothes. its about how he reacts , how he behaves and not what he says.

KD wali Shruti did not jump at him at this time so openly .. this Krishnamoy revelation came and then Rono meets emon .. she was vomiting .. and they have an interaction.. after this she gets kidnapped..

after she gets rescued the court case gets started .. so I guess there is no time ., for him to move out ..

By the end of court case shruti comes to court to make Rono mahan .. and later there is another interaction between krishna and Rono where Rono tries to pass if shruti to K .. he refuses .. Rono gets shot ..

Emon rescues him and tries to bring him back but Rono acts pricey .. this was the most egoistic track .. Rono was a prig .. insufferable prig .. he kept on treating emon as an outsider by calling her aapni .. but also told her you are carrying my child .. my child should not suffer .otherwise I won’t forgive you .. there really is no redemption for this guy

Forget Virat for the moment. Unlike the hug today, the shirt changing scene did not even serve the purpose of a MU because they were alone in the room. What is the point of this creativity? Is it lack of intellect on the part of the writers or are they actually trying to tell us that Virat doesn't maintain boundaries with women? What are we to assume from these contradictory dialogues and scenes? Is it to show that Virat enjoys the attentions of women or that he is slower than an amoeba or that ghum is taking place in an alternate universe where his actions are okay? Leena had sense. Whatever be Rono's shortcomings, he was whatever he was presented as to the audience. No confusion or contradictions. Just as I find it hard to believe that Virat didn't get Shruthi's feelings today, I find it hard to believe that ghum script is written by human beings; it's got to be a bot. 🤪

If writers want to say Virat enjoys the attention of women, then be consistent on that and don't make a maryada purushottam out of him. I honestly dont get it at all, he knows Sai is sick and he shows zero consideration or even a thought on what happened to her, just those dialogues with Samrat and then done with it. He came back and told Shruti about being thrown out and not abt her being ill. He did not tell her how she sacrificed for him but has immense to tell that how his love is not reciprocated. He does not want to let Shruti go, even when she wants to go..just like he did not let Sai go in the name of Vaada...even though he has fulfilled his vaada.

What difference do you see see here emotionally from Virat's side towards Sai and Shruti.?

Physically he keeps flipping and honestly I think that is to make a point to the TRP audience, because if they dont give those dialogues he can be seen as a two timer by many.

It actually puts him in the wrong light, since he was worried when Pakhi did that, only because Sai was at home, now that there is no one, he does not mind opening his shirt infront of a woman who is also his Bhabhi and who he supposedly has been warning to stay away and maintain distance. Who is seen as his wife by the word. ROno was better written, because he was chauvinist but loyal to Emon in his own way. Virat is not.

The dialogues are just to keep audience in loop that he is a one man woman, if not for dialogues, his actions would make them believe that he is a two timer.

Hmm Asmi as you know, i am the one who is convinced totally of his love for Sai. So i am not going to talk about it. Him having recollections of sai or not doesnt matter to me as long as I can connect to his emotions.

But I do have reservations on how he is dealing with this situation especially his reason around staying in this house with Sruthi. If he wanted to help them, then let it come across like that. if they wanted to show, he doesnt have money to take another house as he lost his job, say it too. But that shirt scene comes from nowhere. It has no head or tail except to show that sruthi is invading his privacy and he is not interested. Why to show a supposedly strong woman like this? If she is clinging to him, as a woman who has seen so may emotional lows recently, show it explicitely. Even sruthi falling for him so soon without a strong reason like PP depression or her anxiety related to future doenst make sense. Logical. Hence my question to you people whether something is shown in KD to justify his stay with Sruthi.
