I am sure Aaba did not intend for her to get married so young, but the circumstances played a role and she had to be married and that too in a household like CN.

Had they been slightly less toxic, things would have been different.

I wanted Sai to see it... hence put them together under one roof even if it was for a few days. Sumit's laid-back nature and his interaction with everyone (including how he treated Kusum Tai) was a contrast I wanted Sai to see.

Her attachment to him is no doubt there but she was too afraid to jump in. Rightly so given her past experiences. So while she accepted Sumit in her life, she was still skeptical and holding herself back.

I had two reasons to make it through V.

One for him to be the last push towards Sumit. Sadistic pleasures 😆

And two for him to realise what he lost, what he could have and what it meant.

The plot point (🤪) about physical intimacy was planned long back. Around chapter 4-5. But I had to gradually bring it in the conversation. Sumit has to assure her first that he loves her as a person and is not judgemental of her. Giving credit where it's due (but one that doesn't fit in this story because of different timelines, I commend V for waiting for Sai's consent for consummation of the relationship. That's about the best thing he did in the show so far.).

It's a perception people operate with regarding anyone who has been in relationships and it's really unfair that apart from those two, anyone should be basing their behavior on this fact.

Finally they talked about elephant in the room. Which Ofcourse was needed for progression. Loved how you looped in intimacy part, that is fresh outlook that you made Sai worry about it. I feel she must have been conflicted about physical intimacy, especially being with Chavans. Not just Ajinkya and Aniket, I still remember when Sonali shamed her infront of family for hugging her husband.

This mann!!!!!! Sai is with a gem... No matter what he will be always having her back!! Just loved how he made her understand not because he is insecure or jealous of Sai getting affected by Virat's presence but cuz he wants her to move on,and be happy !!

Like I mentioned to Sherry... this intimacy angle I had planned once I decided to turn it into a romance. But I had to plug it in and who better than V to provide that push.

Absolutely loved this Sumit..his non-judgmental nature. Sai's vulnerability and insecurities can be understood. Any simple middle class girl is like this. You can identify.

Among Sai-Virat, Sai had been the stronger n focused one. But here Sumit surpasses her. He is so sorted in his priorities. What he wants in a relationship...no baggage ki care.

Sai has finally let go of her past and moved forward with Sumit. This calls for a celebration Bedside night lamp with pictures of them together..now how will Sumit sleep at night?

I like that there is communication between them. Sumit directly said what he felt, without keeping it in or making his own assumption. Theyve been dating for 6 months and seeing Sai still affected by V must have played on his mind. And Sai is also more open to him about her feelings and he listens to her.
