Timing of this track

I think the timing of this track is totally off. I understand the logic of introducing it now- basically the story is pretty much over once Sairat get together so that's being delayed. But to introduce another woman when the Pakhi angle hadn't been fully resolved yet was unnecessary. What was the point of showing Pakhi craving for Virat's attention and not giving a damn about Samrat if they had to bring Shruti in? They didn't close the Pakhi loop properly and it's really unsatisfying for the audience to watch a new story with the same third wheel angle without proper closure to the first one.

Virat is a real chick magnet it seems like and for what joy Idk! He's a wet blanket for the most part and cries more than most normal people I know. 😂

The writer of the original had some logic to the order of the tracks up until Emon accepted that she loved Rono and RK's reaction to that. After that it was all superfluous anyway. Here they've mixed the tracks to stretch the inevitable. The issue is that they've now stretched it out so much that all connect with the story and main characters is lost.

This track is beyond boring to watch honestly. The behavior of both leads is unbearable and unbelievable. Virat is illogical to the point of looking like an idiot. Sai's outbursts are next level shrewish and make her look needy and not fierce which is her USP. None of it gels. I haven't watched an episode on hotstar for over 2 weeks. My membership is hatching eggs at this point.

If the logic of the track is that to have love and a strong marriage you must first have friendship and then build trust, that's superfluous. They already built trust with Sai dismissing Pakhi royally in the last track. So I don't get it at all.

Bottom line, I'm not watching Ghum these days because the story itself is Ghum.

But Sai was entertaining the idea of a real marriage, things getting back on track with Virat as a wife so obviously she is very disturbed by the sudden switch in their dynamics. I still see her as fierce. Yes she craves Virats love, attention and company but not at the cost of her self respect. So for me thus far, Sai is the only character that is consistent and has an arc. Everyone else is all over the place.

There's no question that Sai makes more sense than Virat and is more in the right here. It's just that the track itself is unenjoyable in the extreme and she comes off as immature in some scenes. But he's such a douche that nothing she does is as damaging as 1/10 of what he's done.

The only thing that would make sense from here on is an actual separation and a leap. But I think that won't happen so it's going to be Sai apologizing which will irk me no end because there is no real reason for it. Trust is a 2 way street and both of them don't trust the other so this marriage is over as I see it.

Sai atleast has more reason to not trust him given his ambivalence and over friendliness with pp and hiding the truth about Shruti. Next she will find out hes fake married to Shruti. And unlike Virat she reacted more rationally even when insecure, possessive.

Virat characterization is SO poor , its such a shame.

You are right Neerja and I agree with you , But Also I feel that the makers have been making sai cry a lot since last two tracks ,I have been waiting for her to be her old self and I understand that her feelings for virat has changed which is completely understandable,hence she is craving for him.

But it's high time makers should stop her crying all the time and start being old herself a little bit.For example she didn't wanted to attend the felicitation because of virat,I understand that but she shouldn't have forgot about her's and aaba's dream to become a doctor.

She has begged enough ,it's high time she starts giving silent treatment to him.So he understands that he can't take her for granted.

All I am saying that I am fine with the change in her character but I also want that fierce sai back ,atleast 50%

I'm hopeful she will be back to being fierce n no nonsense once Virat-Shruti pretending to be married is revealed....

And I am waiting for that day desperately
