Why is Virat in a perpetual state of sorrow and tears all the time.

I think 80% of the episodes have virat crying his eyes out, since his realization of love towards sai. Isn't he supposed to be an IPS officer. It makes no sense. I watched a little bit of Kusum dola and rono is not in tears. This dude is super sensitive and a crybaby.
