But ya... Since Badi bua is living here and by age I assume Samrat is older than Virat ... They may decide to give the bade bhai ka maan to him ...

Btw , why badi bua is living here ? Has anything been told in older episodes about this ?

Hartalika ke din toh pizza paratha banaya tha Patralekha ne. If she is supposed to be doing pooja with Samrat, then ideally uska upvas hona chiye. Jane do. This is too much for PH's tiny brain.

Karishma is totally sidelined anyway. If Sai was from a big family and wealthy, then her treatment would've been different.

It's actually all about the money!!

The Chavans who make faces when Sai is crying/assaulted...remember when sanskari badi bahu was crying and her Aayi entered , their face...including IPS Chavan's face...🤣Thats what they all are... They respect the women of the house if they have a backup, if they dont have, tab toh gaye.

Her husband died long back and Nagesh Chavan took them in and treated Samrat a son...

Somewhere Salunkhe uncle aka Mansi's husband must be turning in his grave.

He's been tossing and turning since his poor son left on the wedding night...!

If I rem right yagman( the person who has taken the vow of carrying Ganeshji with rituals inside ) is taken as his representative. Since he is carrying Ganeshji he is welcomed by washing his leg with milk and water which is considered auspicious.

For many we believe Ganeshji is a guest who will bring us happiness joy and strength to withstand all kinds of trouble. We call him Bappa aka chachu someone who is our fam member.

In olden times they used to keep one pot of water near the front door any one coming from outside had to wash first hands and legs and tehn come in. Since the yagman is carrying Ganeshji with both hands he cannot wash his legs his dhram patni can help him do so.

The person carrying Ganeshji usually fasts and only once the Idol stapna is done and first pooja is made can he break the fast.

Some of us even cry when it is time for immersion since we become so attached

Edit added. important...the person carrying Ganeshji has to be barefoot and once Ganeshji is carried on the head he cannot be put down anywhere but the designated seat arranged

I don't know if it's part of Hindu rituals but never ceases across such thing in the past..

No yaar. Virat was smiling at sai even before that ritual. He was just happy that she is doing ritual as his wife. He is the one who don't want sai to fall on his feet to take aashirvad when her results came. I personally don't like virat but don't think he is that cheap. That was a ritual done to ganapati bappa. Those pooja & all meant for bappa only not the person.

I dont think so...He was seeing her doing a ritual that the woman of the house does...It was not about wife cleaning husbands feet with milk... It was welcoming bappa... She was washing the feet because he was carrying Ganesh.... Please dont associate it with the word CHI disgusting.....He is the same man who applied ointment on her feet when she had rashes...Other times I agree with his chauvinism ..But this was not that... This was completely different I suppose.

A lot of rituals as such are there, when the washing feet happens when you have denoting/carrying the lord... Even women's feet are cleaned in some rituals...

What's the point in changing Samrat's surname to Chavan from Salunkhe when Mr.Salunkhe was a nice man and has never disowned his wife and son? Isn't it like insulting his paternal side of the family especially his father? Mansi dresses in light color sarees with simple jewelry showing grief for her husband's absence this means she had a good relationship with Mr.Salunkhe.
