Samrat gets the bada beta promotion every time they need to highlight Pakhi's importance and susheel ness in that house. It's good that Chavans are not differentiating between the sons and daughters in the house but this has nothing to do with their progressive thinking. Every rule in that house can be bent for Patralekha, if tomorrow she suggests something else that goes against traditions and culture Bhavani will be first in line to accept it.

Traditions and culture needs only be upheld when it comes to Sai, Devi, Karishma and Ashwini. If they had even suggested something different, the entire Chavan khandaan will get together and abuse them for not following their traditions. Simply put they're bunch of hypocrites who give importance to Patralekha cuz of her background and lineage.

Bold- Truly be MAN of the house? The man talk is the internalized misogyny speaking. Only this makes you a man or that makes you man is regressive thinking. Calling someone who can move out and bulid an own house a man is outdated thinking. Samrat is a good human from whatever we have see until now. But equating everything to him earning to being a man is regressive

Thank you for saying this. I was appalled to see how only offsprings from the man are called heirs to the family when Mansi is also a daughter of the house. The traditions were meant to amass the power to male heirs and sideline the woman. Its her house and its Samrats house as well. Its sad such questions are even raised

Ab to shayad act bhi hai jisme daughter ko legally equal rights diye hai, ab ye sab soch khatm hona chahiye. Boys and Girls ek jaisa hi birth lete hain wo boys koi pahad nahi todte jo unko extra privilege diye jaye jaise ki unko Kam milta hai 😆

Act came into existence much before. It is the mentality that hasn't changed. If men are considered as part of family till death why are women after being married off seen as part of different family? They are born into same family and equal in every sense. Just because married off doesnt mean her identity is compulsorily changed.

I ma fine with Samrat being called the bada beta of the house... It's a welcome change..If they have been staying in the house for so long why should they be treated as guests...However the problem lies is in the fact that when it's anything to do with Sai,Devi, Mohit, Aayi, Karishma..you don't see this open mindedness of the Chavans...

Also the fact that Patralekha was ready to do Aarti of ghar ka bada beta (Virat) and then when Sai gets to do it..she remembers Samrat...is actually funny to watch...🤣

Problem is Chawans are magnanimous only with Patralekha.

Karishma is totally sidelined anyway. If Sai was from a big family and wealthy, then her treatment would've been different.

It's actually all about the money!!

Samrat cannot do the Ganpati Puja … because he’s not the son of the house .. Hindu traditions are biologically back .. the father to son gene lies un tampered …. That’s why even your second third cousin .. fromthe fathers lineage will carry the same Y chromosome…

unless they had shown shown Bhavani abd her husband adopted samrat at young age … with a proper Dattak Puja … there’s no way he can be called the son of the house

It's all about convenience... Reeti rivaaaz se koi matlab nahi 😂😂😂. As it is they skipped Hartalika pooja ... May be it didn't fit in the storyline... Because Sai won't do fasting for Virat... Pakhi won't do it for Samrat.. makers apne creativity ko jhakjhor nahi paye so skip kar diya 😆

But ya... Since Badi bua is living here and by age I assume Samrat is older than Virat ... They may decide to give the bade bhai ka maan to him ...

Btw , why badi bua is living here ? Has anything been told in older episodes about this ?
