In today's episode,Sai kept saying she had to go to college and it was important..

The elders of the family and her so called husband was scoffing at that.I guess even the creative team is unaware as to how important attendance is to Sai

So I had to put this down in clear terms as to why Sai can't afford to miss even a single day of college..especially in first year of MBBS.( Source:my sister is an MBBS student..so I know the nitty gritties of what goes inside a medical college quite well)

MBBS is considered to be one of the toughest courses in our country. And Attendance is of paramount importance in the course..even more than marks.

It differs from university to university..but majority require minimum 80% attendance for theory and practical classes separately.

Even if Sai is the class topper..if she doesn't have minimum 80-85% attendance in theory and practical classes..she won't be allowed to write the exam whatever her reason of absence be.

She will lose an year. And if this happens in first year, she will be demoted to additional batch for the rest of the course. Her batchmates will move ahead and she will be left behind.

Already Sai had lost so many classes thanks to toxic dramas in CN.

Many colleges give tough time to students even taking medical leave..

If she gives reason of absence as family function...even extra attendance can be deducted as that's no valid reason.

This show is one of the most watched shows in India( unfortunately). So dear creative team,If u again show the family members scoffing at Sai if she refuses to take leave and brush it off as a trivial matter.. you are insulting lakhs of medical students all over the country.

Ask any student pursuing MBBS ,they will tell u attendance is no joke .It's one of the crucial factors deciding if a student can sit for exam or not.

Couldn't agree more. I myself am a MBBS student.

Asking for duniya bhar ki daulat(sarcasm samjho) will still be easier than asking for a medical leave.

Ek din toh kya, agar ek lecture bhi miss ho gaya toh kitni problem hoti hai. They won't see if your a state topper, a scholarship student, shehar ku ACP ki wife or a bade khaandaan ki bahu. They just don't care. They will ruthlessly expel you and won't allow you to give exams.

And rightly so, MBBS is no joke and you are expected to be on toes and available for 24×7. Doesn't matter if you are missing ghar ka puja for that

Sai bai has every right to fight for her studies, and she shouldn't stop no matter whoever comes in between.

Best option is Sai permanently moving to a hostel till her studies are completed. But aisa nahi hoga😶

@Bold THIS is the real scenario👏👏👏👏.

My sister was unwell during her 3rd year and had to take leave for a week..they wouldn't even accept a medical certificate. Final exam ke 2 weeks pehle tak she was uncertain and under immense stress if they would allow her to sit for the exam.

And some professors will take offense if a student miss their lectures for whatsoever reason..and agar they have that impression of u (even if u are state topper or acps wife)..they will make sure that student fails the exam regardless of the performance.

Sai bai will have a permanent black mark if she keeps missing classes for ghar ka pooja.Good that she went to college .

But the way ghum cvs trivialize the attendance issue is 😔..I don't know they haven't done any research on what exactly goes inside a medical college.

Yes ideally sai should move to hostel..or atleast pulkits house for the rest of the course time.

It's a miracle she manages to study and get good marks despite such constant mental torture(ye sirf serial mein hotha hai.)

I had met with a accident when I was in 4th year. Gosshhh, getting a medical leave was real pain in ass. Despite the fact that I was admitted in our college ka hospital itself.

Professors can be very dangerous, they can literally fail you, even if you have done well, and there is no one to question them.

And when they know about your strong family background, they can turn extremely torturous. Have seen thing like that happening with one of my friend.

I don't want her to live with Pullu. If she will live with him, Chavans will still bother her. And Devi tai, a big SaiRat shipper, will push Sai towards Virat. Sai and Virat need to be distant, then things might workout for them.

Hostel would be good, zero connections with the family. Distance rakh ke she can be in contact with some Chavans, maybe.

Hostel is the best option for sai right now..but vankar spends all his energy on copying KD scene by scene..its futile to hope.

At this point..if this was an ek show ..the fl would have simply walked out of the house if the ml locked her up in the room.

Even ek knows a FL going through this level of torture should get out of the house .but vanku doesn't 🙄🙄.

More than Virat's rudeness what shook me more is his inconsideration towards Sai's studies. It put me off so badly. He should be the last person to stop her from going to college. This is unpardonable for me. Becoming doctor is her dream and if not as a husband, he should always put her studies ahead for the promise he made to Kamal Joshi.

Completely agree.

@bold- I saw one clip where Sai was telling Pulkit the same reason for her transfer and I think she is correct until she breaks all ties with Chavans she won’t be able to concentrate on her studies. Even she denies it but she is attracted to Virat, the best way to achieve her ambition is get transferred or move to hostel. But again, we are hoping for logic in this illogical show. 😅

Not just as a medical student but any college student won't easily skip classes. But here the problem is Sai would gladly bunk off classes when she is on a mission or create drama. She remembers about the importance of classes when someone else asks are to miss a day. 😆

I m a currently doing mbbs.whatever u wrote is absolutely true.

But Sai and CVS was the least bothered about her classes till today. But today mbbs and class attendance has become very important for both Sai and CVS.

They have already made joke out of mbbs in this show zillion time.so doesn't matter what Sai or CVS trying to show today.

Good that you guys have put this out here. Both Engineering and Medical colleges are very strict about attendance. Legit toppers have been flunked in practicals in my Engg college for being careless with attendance at just boundary points. Mandatory was 75%, anyone with 74% was also flunked unless any major medical issues with proofs were submitted.

Like Sammy said koi bhi muh uthake Doctor nahi bansakta😅
