So i cant talk about the epi because i skipped literally all of it except the Sai Samrat portions. Because i have ZERO interest in pp. So while it maybe important to the overall show, i have realized that i am over it. The show never did interest me, it was Sai and Virat, mainly Sai.
So today for me was a letdown because they kept cutting in between Sai Samrat n pp-others.
And Sai didn't get as much as screen time as i hoped, yet Ayesha was shining! ♥️ I love her a little more each day.
Anyway so i kept fast forwarding. As it is , they had it all disjointed and uparseh i was only ff'ding so i could not find it satisfying as a viewer.
But the Sai-Samrat relationship is what i wish Sairat would be like in terms of the "honesty" standpoint. I wish Sairat could have a simpke, honest conversation with the same ease that sai-samrat did.
Sai is SO pure- she didnt spew hate about pp to Samrat even though pp deserves it. She even exaggerated the truth saying pp does things for the family. What a joke! But Sai was so very mature. she didn't tell him to apnao her etc or attempt to preach. She is merely telling him to talk to pp and not abandon his whole family for this one issue and in the process be lonely himself- i think its coz she knows both feelings- that of being abandoned as well as being lonely. 😥She wouldn't wish that for anyone.
She told Samrat clearly her own marriage is a deal but she stood up for virat. Virat heard her defend him, heard the respect, gratitude she has- as she said- i knew everything beforehand unlike you who learnt it after marriage, he is a good man, I'm his zimmedari but he has done so much for me, he is making me stay till I'm independent so that until i finish my education so that i feel sheltered, protected, have a sense of being nuruted, have a "family". As much as CN has actually been a cause of torture rather than nurturing they have all grown on her now. She has truly accepted them as "hers" because she has unconsciously regarded herself as an extension of her virat sir.
Virat needs to listen to how Sai thinks of him. She regards him so highly despite everything that has happened.
And if virat listened carefully he'd realize that theres no use or point waiting for Sai to allow him to express whats in his heart. Its obvious that she is closing herself off to avoid heartbreak for herself and if he took a few minutes to reflect on her words he'd know that what he should do is tell her everything. Not run away like his older brother.
Ek bhaagne ke baad vaapas aaya nahi ki agla shuru hogaya. 🙄
I wish i could shake some sense into virat. He needs to realize that his words, his clarification matters more than just his actions. Because his actions can be misconstrued at this point as only coming from a place of "care" rather than true love.
Sai is essentially saying that she cannot allow herself to feel for a man who loves another. And I'm positive that Virat would do exactly the same if he were in her situation. He would not be forthcoming with his feelings until he knew that the other person truly loved him. Infact he is doing that now. Instead of saying what he has to, he keeps putting it off saying Sai doesn't give me a chance to tell her how i feel. How does that matter?! Didnt he confess to pp how he supposedly felt for her even though it was really only an infatuation and he was saying that theres no future to us. Why cant he do the same for Sai. Why cant he juat say what he has to, honestly, and in entirety. Not in bits/pieces leaving room for misunderstandings....i sympathize with him but find it hard to empathize because i don't understand why he is prologing his own misery. I dont understand his reasons.
He heard how Sai essentially avoided answeing the question about what is her hearrt and said i know what is in virats heart....
Also I wish that they had given more time for Sai-Samrat scene. It had so much to it. They packed it with too much without the much needed tehraav. Samrat noticed the pictures of Sairat, he senses that maybe virat has moved on....he can sense that the Sairat relationship is real perhaps just from those pictures. and he genuinely cares about Sais feelings too. He is the first person that has asked her- what do you feel. Does virat have a place in your life. Even virat hasnt ever asked her this. Neither has aai. I can see that their bond will be something special....
And Sai couldn't be fully honest. One- she just met Samrat, she can't bare it all. Two- she even tells herself that she does NOT feel anything for virat to save herself the heartbreak so how can she acknowledge her feelings to Samrat. Infact she is already heartbroken but in a sense she is "lying" to herself n everyone else , to prevent herself from getting shattered and falling apart with no anchor, no support, no family again.
Thats why she stays put in CN despite all the crap n. the emotional toll it takes on her. Because having that is better than having nothing and no one. Thats why she "selfishly" chooses to stay in CN and gets easily coaxed into staying despite her repeated "naatak" of deal/leaving to hostel etc. Because Sai has NOTHING to go back to, no one to fall back on. Pulkit doesn't count because devkit are basically extension of CN. Her world revolves around virat n because of virat- his family too. She doesn't have a job/work either to devote her life to, she is still getting educated. So Sai is at a stage where no matter how toxic, how heartbreaking, how difficult it is, she will do her level best to stay with virat/in CN - even if its affecting her emotional n mental health/peace so much. Because her alternative is non existent- her alternative is literally being completely let loose to fly away into obscurity.
Sai is the only character in the show whose emotions, reactions, graph, reasons make sense to me and are either relatable or if not relatable, atleast its empathizable. Can't say the same for any of the others.
