Beautiful post as always Laksh ❤️ Absolutely loved reading your take!
@bolded: Really nicely put. While I agree that Virat has, until this point, always failed to express himself in words, I'm not sure if I agree that he could never clarify it. Of course, this is what is likely going to happen in the show. But, there are 2 parts this entire mess if we are to summarize.... one is that he doesn't understand Sai's perspective and the other is that his emotions overpower him, and basically the first point is due to the second point. So, essentially, Virat can be summed up as someone who's emotions control every single thing he does. To me, the most powerful driving emotion in him at this point is his love for Sai...and he would do anything for that love. If he knew how deeply the past and the vaada was impacting her, I can't help but think that he would clarify it all for her in a heartbeat. Think about it- this man wants nothing more than for Sai to love him back and for this relationship to be real... no matter how hard it would be for him, don't you think that he would do it? I keep going back to the bedroom confrontation after the pool fight, and even the moments after, when he was desperately trying to understand what Sai had heard so he could clear it up. When Sai asked him, after he stopped her from leaving the house, whether he was committed or not, he clearly answered then too. So, this makes me think that he would clear everything up, but it would require direct probing by Sai.. she would have to be the one who let her defenses and walls down and make herself entirely vulnerable... hence, my dream for a confrontation in which they are both screaming at each other and Sai starts asking the pointed questions and he breaks... my phD in dreaming is taking over again... 😆
I am not sure if you read my entire reply 😞. I have said the same towards the end if you notice 😃.
