He was going to confess to Sai during Holi, so I think he would have confessed to Sai if the fiasco of DEvi's marriage wouldn't have happened. What I don't think he would have done is make it clear to Pakhi like he did by being pushed to a corner.

Virat was close to confessing when he was drunk but if Sai had heard it, i think they both wouldn't have remembered it or would have pretended to forget/not address it when sober thinking it was all drunken behavior. In full senses Virat has only confessed to pp that "shaayad" Sai seh pyaar hogaya that too only beause she put him on the spot. She thought she'd use reverse psychology saying " you love Sai" and he'd say "of course not i told you she is zimmedari" but ulta pad gaya.

virat has started acknowledging that he is attracted to his wife. Sai had also started doing that during alta episode...but she shook herself out of it remembering "deal/samjhauta" and "virats vaada"

But i also wonder-

If virat had NOT found evidence would he have calmed down enough to feel bad for kicking her out and still apologized just for that action. This time he is guilty coz Sai was right about the evidence being fake. And he is missing Sai. But would he eventually miss her and want to bring her back even if she was wrong and had actually commited a mistake - maybe not right away but perhaps after his anger died down? I'd like to believe he would, but I'm really not sure.....

even i sometimes wonder if he is just "used to her presence" and is able to see that shes not a bad person underneath her outspoken/brash behavior just coz they are room mates so they have seen each other closely or is it all purely out of love. He definitely NEVER loved pp. But with Sai it seems like just the beginning of love, its not full fledged yet. He definitely wants to go with the flow and accept the marriage as real.

but just to break away from the guilt of pp's condition coz she keeps putting up the "I'm so lonely, i have no one" acting he has let PP get away with far too much crap. He has drawn boundaries oy now , but its a little late. Because when Sai was around and asked him straight ,simple questions about him and pp repeatedly, he kept denying- denied the obvious almost insulting Sais intelligence- matlab even a blind person can see that pp is obsessed with virat and virat has a soft corner too. So blatantly denying that he never had more than friendly feelings for pp is a mistake. He has hot to be honest with his wife! Infact he hasnt even confessed to aai about everything. Kept his mother in the dark too. Ashwini also has figured it all out herself. But he wasnt honest with Sai or Aai.

Also Virat probably thinks Sai is younger, she's his wife and so haq banta hai to get gussa with her, boss her around, Neither is there an umar ka lihaaz coz shes younger plus shes his wife so he can take the liberty. And with ashwini- its his mother. So both sai and aai get the umfiltered , raw version of his anger. Whereas with others he never raises his voice, he is usually polite and even in his worst behavior- he still is not even close to as uninhibited as he is with Sai and Aai. And for the most part thats fine, its normal too. We can be ourselves only with those we are actually close to. but he has taken it too far. Pp has been interrupting and coming in between Sairat ALL the time and has been allowed to get away with treating Sai very very badly. So have bk/ninad/omi. But virat has ignored it or been too polite in his reprimands. Thanks to all that now Sai has her walls up so high that its going to be tedious to break.
