I think so, I might be paraphrasing it a bit.

During haldi Pakhi would want to stop the wedding and get married to Virat. Pakhis father will be okay with it as long as it makes her happy and that it’s Virat’s choice too.

Virat will be like I love your daughter but I can’t do this to my family or something like that.

At that moment he didn’t know what live or infatuation is. If he was truely in love nothing would have stopped him from marrying Pakhi. Atleast it wouldn’t have been so easy to let her marry his brother knowing that she will be right under his eyes and he can’t avoid her ever.

I know, I was shocked to watch that scene 😒.

But it happens, we have seen many in reel and real like this who thinks that they are in love with someone, but in reality, they are in love with someone else 😂😂.

@bold think, he had to give the waada to Pakhi out of compulsion, in a hurry to send her away from the room.

The same waada he has given to Sai, not as a waada but just in words. He meant it this time when be said that he will wait for her always.

The guy does love her, lacks a few qualities which would help him save their relationship from breaking.

The same is with Sai, she has feelings for him and would love to be with him always, lacks a few qualities that would help them from not getting into problems.
