Let's take this example. You do know that in schools, they seek consent from parents in a consent form which means that the parents allow/agree for the school to give medical treatment to the child in case of any medical emergency?

i would have agreed in day to day cases. but the thing is devi is not being considered mentally ill patient not capable of taking her own decisions in the show. they have time and again reiterated that devi and pulkit are adults and they do not need anyone’s approval to get married. so purely going by that, i don’t find anything wrong in sai helping her elope.

I'm sorry but why are you being a blind stan?

Devi may be an adult but she's mentally unstable, and in this situation only Kaku is allowed to take her decision. The show's logic is lame and senseless. That's why they're making Sai to do such lame and senseless act.

I won't ever support Sai for making Devi elope. Neither I did while watching KD and nor in Ghkkpm. Virat said na he'll reinvestigate further? Then why is Sai taking decision? Pulkit don't have proof that they're married. College form isn't a proof. You know, there is more probability that Pulkit may change his wife's name to Devyani than an outsider changing his wife's name to Sangeeta. If he can prove he and Devi is married, in no way Kaku can stop the marriage. So what Sai is doing, when she herself is a literate especially a topper, is utter foolish act. Even a common girl has the basic sense that doing this it may make Devyani more ill and she may have a death threat. What if she becomes ill while recalling her past in the marriage urn? Who'll take the responsibility then? I'm sure Virat won't atleast don't do such immaturity by making Devi elope..

Even in ITV standard, if you see in other shows, doctors do tell the family not to bring any shocking event from the past because it may hamper the patient's health when the memory loss track is played out. So even by ITV standard it's wrong.

Raji, there are different point of view which we have to look over here. I get what you are trying to say. Maybe the one point here is, neither the actions nor the way will be different if Sai or Virat decide to support devi tai and Pulkit this way, but what matters and makes it different is the reaction to this action maybe. Will CN be the same way if Virat does the same thing? Will they try to argue much, bug him, I don't think so, and they won't even dare to send him out of the house. And the endgame here is they will accept it, might spit a bit venom but they will. Cuz, Virat is family, from the beginning, he is the son not the bahu, he is caring of his sister. Leave it will be their reaction.

Yes, undoubtedly Sai is equal in giving love to devi tai, but her action are not accepted, as she is the unwanted bahu, and how dare she went against a house which is doing ehsaan on her. So, this is where maybe we feel a deviation, cuz the reactions differ to the same actions.

And regarding the documents, both are right and wrong, right, cuz both of them love devi and care for her, and in this way both want her not to suffer and be happy, so they are right at their place.
